Legos are a solid bet for an awesome toy and this monster truck is one of the best, especially for the price. We bought this for our son and loved it so much that we keep buying it for other kids for birthday gifts! The functional suspension is really easy to put together and it is really cool.

Wonderful for a monster truck lover.

Got this for my sons 8th birthday and he loves it. Completion was easy for him and it stays together very well for legos. Usually you can't play with many of the sets after you put them together but this one is being played with all the time.

Nice toy...watch age range

Great toy... once we put it together..,,runs smoothly, nice LEGO Monstrr Truck Beware. This toy set said it was for 6 to 12 years..,,,it took 2 adults over an hour to build it.,,,maybe more for 10 to 12 year olds.,...too complex for 6 year olds

Roles really well.

My 4-year old was able to put this together on his own. The large tires are compressible (unlike the small solid tires that usually come with Lego vehicles), which means this car rolls really far when pushed. The car also has some bounce to it.

Get Your Monster Truck Going

If your child loves playing Bigfoot Trucks, they will love this as it is a build set. My eight year old GGrandson loves it. He got this set and the set with the special sand for his birthday party.

My six year old loves it!

This was my 6 year old son's favorite Christmas gift! He put it together with just a tiny bit of help in less than an hour. He has exclaimed it is the coolest Lego set he has ever had. It has definitely been in some major fender-benders around the house but it has held up amazingly well. The suspension feature is very cool too.

Very intricate for its size, good value

Put this together with my 4 yr old for some quality time while the other kids napped. Took us about an hour for me to explain directions while he found each piece and put it together. He loves the shock absorbers (mini rubber bands). This is the only pet about this set that is a con, there were only 2 white rubber bands in the box.. though I think you could substitute a clear hair tie elastic if one goes missing.

Very cool design and use of rubber bands

WIth 2 boys, we see our share of lego sets. This was my first time having rubber bands included to make springs for the undercarriage. The cool-factor went up a lot. The massive tires are really fun, too. The accessory ramp is lacking and really rather unnecessary, but the truck is great. Side-note: why do the lego city vehicles make you disassemble the roof of the cab to get the people inside and out? Whatever happened to hinged rooftops? My 4yo has trouble getting the lid easily off/on without causing disassembling other parts along side, but he loves to move people in and out of the driver's seat. We have this same issue with many of the current lego city vehicles and trucks. I'm going to get some hinge pieces and fix them myself.

Fun little truck

Just finished building this with my 4 year old son, and what a fun little build it was. Lego has really changed a lot since my youth. I enjoy this little set and I know my son does too. Do recommend buying it.
