No issues so far, only a couple weeks now. Install was quick, maybe an hour. Wife liked it right away, but doesn't use them any more... err. Anyway, nice.

Highly recommend

Great product. It shipped fast. They were easy to install, all the hardware came with it. They are very heavy duty and sturdy. They look nice on the truck. It changed the while look of the truck. The best part is the work nicely! I can get in my husband truck without jumping first. Highly recommended. Install took about 1.5 hours. Fit on a 2013 Dodge Ram. Full cab.

Two mounting points

I thought that this tube would be a 3 point bracket to suspend the running board, on the existing bolts under truck like I had seen on Youtub. But the TAC uses 4 cabin bolts which are at least 8" long. I had to heat one to remove it. It seams very solid but will check to make sure everything is still tight. The TAC brackets use existing 3 bolts on truck body plus the main body bolts so it feels very strong. What TAC doesn't use are the middle bracket which some tube running boards use and most of the flat running boards use. So instillation time was much longer considering the large body bolts which half to be taken out and put back. Where as the existing bolts just need the brackets and nuts to put on. But the TAC looks very clean without showing the brackets hanging down to the running boards like 3point brackets look. Oh and on my 2019 Ram Big Horn the bolts are metric, and lucky I had a metric tap and die set to clean the threads of paint so they can be used. I like it and would recommend them for anyone looking for a nice clean look and very affordable.

Eazy as 1 2 3 ..instructions were pretty straight forward install in about 1hour by my self. Defenetly would recommend,fast shipping ,fit as descrive. Defenetly helps my kids get on/off truck install on my 2012 dodge ram 4x4 ,,,,

Great product.

These are my first ever step bars. They look great! They came with all the correct mounts and fasteners. No blemishes on them either. Installation only took me a little over an hour. Not difficult at all. I just installed them tonight so I can't give any comment on longevity. But at least right now, they are awesome.

Install a little tricky but worth it afterwards

Good running boards. Install took a couple hours since this was my first time installing these. First side was the worst but after learning from the mistakes second side went smooth. A bit of advice. Do not screw the bolt all the way into the fish wire that's included. Easier to screw in then to unscrew. All you need is a couple turns and it holds fine. Read through the instructions before you start. Year 2015 and newer use less hardware since those trucks have preinstalled bolt holes built in. There wasn't any torque specs in the directions so I just snugged everything down tight. Also have a breaker bar or impact wrench ready to remove the big bolt from the truck. Mine had loctite and it was in there good. Be careful as you remove it as some dirty water might come out when you unscrew it. I was very happy with the final product. Seems a little scary not having middle support but it doesn't budge under my 200lb weight when I step up.

These are a really good product and I like the mounting better than the Westins I had on my last Ram. Just follow the instructions and the result is really nice. Very sturdy.

Best for the money!

This is my second set of these side steps. I installed on my 2018 Ram and now my 2019 Ram. While they do support the weight very well be advised that they are thin and light weight in gauge. So saying, if you go off road a lot you should probably look at something heavier. However for normal use they hold up just fine. Install is pretty simple and quick. You'll need wrenches or sockets size 13mm, 15mm, 18mm, and a 19mm. If your truck is a 2015 or up, just know that you'll only use 1 10mm studded bracket and 1 12mm studded bracket on each side of the truck because there are threaded inserts that make everything really easy. 1 cab bolt has to be removed at the front on each side and replaced securing the included bracket to the step for added rigidity. That's it! I can install a set of these in 30 mins now! Be aware that when looking at the photos the steps attach to the body and not the frame and you're golden. *****NOTE***** THESE WILL FIT A 2019 RAM CLASSIC WHICH IS THE CONTINUED BODY STYLE. THE NEW 2019 BODY STYLE THESE WILL NOT WORK FOR Happy and safe motoring!

Totally awesome

i had these on my 2015 Ram and liked them so well that I got them for my 2018 model. Perfect fit and the instructions were spot on. All necessary hardware was included and the rails had no damage. I really like the way these rails bend and that the ends each bolt into the frame brackets without exposing the ends of the rails.

Great, affordable product for 2016 Ram 1500 Big Horn

For the price this is the best deal out there for Ram 1500s. I installed these on my 2016 Ram 1500 Big Horn and they were a perfect fit. The directions can be a little confusing so use the photos to guide your installation as it will show you exactly where to install the brackets. The 2015 & up Ram models already have the pre-installed holes for the bottom bolt on the braces so that will save you time on installation and you will use the 8 mm bolts instead of the 10 mm. All in all a good product that is a manageable self installation.
