First "regular" size lego set for a 4 1/2 year old and he loved it! He did have help putting it together but he did a lot of the work on his own by following the directions. Directions were really easy to follow and he played with it for days!

This is a little too complex for my 5 year old to assemble alone. He needs help, but plays with it for hours once it’s built.

This was a perfect fit for my three year old. He loves Legos, I love the junior blocks so that there aren’t as many tiny pieces. He plays with these all the time, building and un-building over and over again.

We bought this set of Legos for my four year old grandson. He had picked this out after seeing it advertised in a circular. He was thrilled as we were when we put it together. He did all the work of putting the parts together as we pointed out the steps and read the directions. It took a while, but was well worth the effort. We roleplayed the story of a bad guy and good cop. It is a great toy which is appropriate for a four year old under adult supervision. Lego makes quality interactive and age appropriate sets. We look forward to future sets as he grows up.

My nephew is 4 and spent all afternoon playing with this set, it was his first Lego set and he was thrilled. Definitely worth the money!

It was the perfect gift for my 6 year old son. He was able to sit at the table look at the detailed instructions and put it together. I am very satisfied with this set.

This was my first look at today's Legos. The pieces are much smaller than they were 40 years ago when my children were little. I didn't think my 5 year-old grandson could put this set together. But with help from me reading instructions, he had a great time assembling it and didn't stop from start to finish. The instruction booklet is very user friendly. It takes you step-by-step from beginning to end. This was the first time my grandson had Legos, as opposed to Duplos. It took him about 1 1/2 hours to assemble this set. Although many of the pieces are VERY tiny, a young child's hands are so small, he can handle the pieces easily and assemble them. Very pleased with this set!

This was a gift for a 3 year old. Easy enough to build (with some adult help) and lots of fun to play, take apart, and rebuild into something a little different! Good value when on sale :-)

My grandson is 3 1/2 and has outgrown Duplo. This is a perfect kit for him. The items were quite easy for him to build and he has had so much fun coming up with stories about the characters. The vehicles move very nicely. Only downside is the tiny bills. He has already lost one. If we had known how small they were, we would have opened the package first and put them aside.

Other than trying to keep up with the pieces with a 3 1/2 year old, We love this set, he can put some of it together, but mostly he helps and I assemble. We talk about the pieces, It is a great vocabulary booster and learning to follow directions. We have taken it apart(store in gallon bags) and then reassemble. I plan to slowly add several sets.
