ALL-ACCESS to our SUV's Trunk during Road Trips - PERFECT!!
I looked at SO many bike racks before buying this one and I'm THRILLED with it. We needed something for traveling across the Midwest with two small kids, who often require us to dig in the trunk of the car for forgotten items in their suitcases. The one CRITICAL feature for us was a bike rack which would enable us to still access the trunk of the SUV. As it turns out, that's not as common of a feature as we expected, so I was very skeptical that this company (BV) claimed we'd have no problem tilting this and getting into our trunk. It worked perfectly. We were constantly tilting it with two bikes mounted on it. It was easy to do and we had no problems accessing everything we needed without disturbing the bikes.

Great value and high quality for the price point
Great value and high quality. Wasn't sure until I had the rack put together. I am using this with a 2" hitch and I had issues with the "wobble" until someone told me to simply tighten the bolt. Using a 1/4" Master lock to secure to the vehicle(hole in the end of the hitch bolt). Very pleased with the quality of the rack to this point and glad I made the purchase. Three points of secure contact for each bike which is well thought out. I was wondering what I was going to use to secure the tires/wheels in the holders, but they already have that in place with Velcro fasteners. With the exception of explaining the bolt tightening to remove wobble, directions are very simple and assembly complete in 30 minutes.

Very easy to put together
I purchased this bicycle rack for hauling my families bikes on our RV. . No tools needed, however I used my own tools over the wrenches supplied. This comes disassembled in a large box with two smaller boxes inside. Very easy to put together. I recommend putting it into the receiver hitch and assembling it on the vehicle. I haul 2 adult mountain bikes a child's BMX bike and a beach cruiser. Very sturdy, folds up nicely when not in use. It is on the heavy side so some people may have trouble putting this in the receiver hitch by them self. Over all I would buy this again and defiantly recommend this to anyone in the market!

Tilts with bicycles attached do I can get in the hatch
I have this on my 2016 Subaru outback. I tried a different carrier but that one did not allow me to open the rear hatch even if I was only carrying one bicycle on the outward position. This one does allow me to tilt the bikes down while on the rack. I can also open the hatch if there are no bikes on it so you don't have to tilt it to get your helmet and stuff out of the back.. It folds up when not in use. There is a real reflector on the rear, not just shiny tape. That's a nice safety feature so that other cars can see the rack at night.

Great Bike carrier.
This assembled very easily, the instructions are very clear and I put it together by myself in about 45 minutes. Having assembled one I could probably do additional ones in 15 minutes. The rack is very solid. I did try to use a locking hitch pin instead of the included bolt but that resulted in some wobble. There was no wobble using the included bolt. As others have suggested just use a small padlock through the included bolt as a theft deterrent.

Very nice bike rack!
For the price this bike rack is great, well made, very easy to use. Very little movement down the road, haven't seen any part work loose while traveling down the road. I have a 2" hitch, but the rack comes with an adapter for the smaller 1 1/4" hitch. The rack is made of steel so it is heavy, but I can install and remove with no problem. Haven't seem any marks or rubbing spots on the bikes finish, if you install the bike properly I don't see a problem. If you have a "girls bike" the one that has a dropped bar frame, you would need to by a snap in type bar to get a better grip on the bike.

WORKS GREAT ON JEEP
nice producer. well made and thought out. appears and feels very sturdy. Oh, and for all the Jeep owners out there...this unit works perfectly on a Jeep Wrangler. There is plenty of clearance for the tire and reverse camera. The system also swings away enough to open the tailgate a bit. If you prefer, you can keep the mount on the Jeep and fold it all up to a neat little package that still allows you to see out the rear view camera.

Completely statisfied
I am extremely happy with this bike rack and with the shipping. I needed to acquire a new rack in a crunch since I was in a new vehicle and planning to drive to Florida with two bikes in tow. Shipping time became a key issue and they were very prompt and gave me enough time to assemble the unit. Assembly was a breeze (simple easy instructions) and the rack is built plenty heavy duty. With the bikes secured with no more than the original parts included I drove from WI to FL with NO issues what-so-ever! It's a fantastic rack and would recommend to anyone - BUY! Love the added reflector that comes with it.

Great Hitch Type Rack for Bikes
This is a very good bike rack. It seems pretty rugged, handling our two bikes without a problem. I used it in the past few days on a trip to ride some trails on the Cape and drove both highway and side roads. It travels well with minimal rocking or movement. I like the fold up feature and the fold down feature as well. I have Thule racks for carrying kayaks but when it came to bikes, I didn’t like the style of the Thule rack. You hang your bikes rather than carry them on the rack. To me this results in more rocking and rubbing and potential for more damage to your bikes. I studied many different racks and this one fit the bill. It was also significantly less in price than the Thule or Yakima racks which many people buy. A great find for anyone looking for a hitch type rack.

Really nice, works as expected
Really nice, works as expected. Instructions to put together was a bit challenging, but pay attention to the pictures. After one or two misconfigurations, i put it together without any issue. Recommend it.
