Grommets are grommets, unless they are so badly made they don't fit right or the parts bind. These are fine for most purposes, fit well, etc.

50mm, NOT 2 inch

They seem to be 50mm, which is about 1 15/16, not 2" If you use a 2" hole saw, they will fit OK, but not very tight. If you NEED tight, such as frequent yanking on cords, then 2 wraps of cheap plastic electrical tape enlarges it enough to make a tight fit.

simple and effective

i ordered these for a custom desk i was building for my home office. they require a simple 2" hole saw cut and they drop right in. You can pull the top piece out and install the ring below it. I actually glued these in place so they didn't move or spin. They look and work like they should.

Inexpensive does not mean "cheap".

These desk grommets seem to be well made and will do the job. I am replacing the tangle of different peripheral wires into a much better looking desk with wires coming out of the grommet a short distance instead of taking the upper left third of my entire desk.

Just the right fit!

I used these on several desks I made in my shop for the high school where I teach. These are security desks made out of good quality cabinet grade wood and stained to look great. These provided a great finishing touch for the holes that the cables for the computers use.

My new house had a built in desk but the desk grommets were only 1" wide - way too small for most plugs. I bought this 6-pack at barely more expensive than one or two. I also bought a Black & Decker hole saw pack and used the 2" to install - no issues

Durable. A suggestion: It they don't fit snug,( after cutting our your 2 inch hole using a saw hole kit), then I suggest using some black electrical tape around the grommet. Snug as a bug in a rug now.

while id love to find some "caps" without holes for these, for my project they were as close as i could get to what i needed, made from ABS plastic so easily modified or added to if you need the only real issue is finding a hole saw that drills a hole EXACTLY this size, try grinding one down

Great product and price

I picked up a sit-stand desk for my office, but it was a solid table-top. Using a hole saw, I cut holes out for these grommets and installed them with a bit of liquid nails. Other versions of this are extremely expensive, and this is a fantastic alternative.
