Like removable glue

This review is for (Pack of 2) Extra Thick Sticky Anti-Slip Gel Pad, Mini-Factory PREMIUM Universal Non-Slip Dashboard Mat, which I have had in my possession for two months at the time of this writing. I found it amazingly sticky. It's actually on the verge of being too sticky. I've intentionally waited for several weeks before reviewing to see how the stickyness lasts and you will note that so far it still gets five stars. I even put a GoPro suction cup mount on it (without engaging the suction) and did some recording to see if it would dampen the vibration and it held just fine. I was pleasantly surprised. I did not leave it on very long though because I did not trust it to hold it for any extended time, though it held fine and did not fail, it was only my fears that made me stop using it. I have a case on my phone that has a hard plastic piece that snaps into place on the back to add strength and if I'm not careful and put too much of that in contact with the sticky pad that part sticks to the pad when I pick up the phone and then I have to peel it off the pad and reapply it to my phone. That is not a big deal, but it shows that the pad is really sticky. I can set my sunglasses on it and only a small portion of the frame or temples have to touch the pad and I do not have to worry about them coming loose or even tipping over. So far I have not seen it lose any of its gripping power. Just a couple notes however, My car is almost always in the garage and since I'm retired It does not sit in a parking lot during the day when I'm at work, so it has had very little exposure to direct hot sunlight or in a hot sun baked car . Nor, has it sat out in the cold winter subject to freezing. If something happens in the future to make me change my rating, I will update this then and let you know.

There are a couple of different sizes and plenty sticky

The item came quickly as usual per Amazon prime. It was packaged nicely inside a plastic ziplock type bag and had clear film on each side. I noticed that only one was in the package and reached out to the customer support - they asked for a photo and sent a replacement immediately. As far as the quality of the product, it's sticky enough so my phone doesn't slide. I put it on the center console of the Model 3. It makes sure the phone doesn't slide and also doesn't scratch up the glossy area. It's not in the direct sun. It seems easy enough to peel off and reposition as needed.

These mats are one step away from being glue.

You must peel it up to re-position it. Other Notes: Purchased these mats because I keep knocking my phone over at night or in the morning. It stickiness exceeded even my needs! I was expecting it to be like the comforting gel you find in shoes--not like almost glue! You can usually reduce it's grip it by exposing it to dust and other particles, but it's still going to cling well. If too much dust builds up on it and reduces it's effectiveness, just wash it under water and let dry. Even bread flour washed off scarily easily when I placed some on for a test.

Very Flexible

I have a Chrysler 2015 T & C and I applied this to the dash just above the shift lever. The dash has a couple of contours and I was worried it wouldn't shape well enough to adhere but it molded well. I am using it to hold my Uniden DFR8 radar detector. Works perfectly even tho Uniden supplies a COILED power cord that is heavy & tugs on the detector. The Gel Pad WINS the gravity battle. I will try to clean w/ only water 1st & will update after a cleaning. I did get (2) pads as advertised & they have flexible plastic sheets attached to both sides.

Really Sticky

I've used products like these for years and these are the stickiest gripping ones I have ever had. Each pad is large enough to secure two phones at the same time. 100% 5 Stars.

So far so good

Looked at a number of these products and worried about whether the mat would hold my glasses when driving with my sunglasses and also worried about not being able to peel these off. Despite some very hot days, no problem in either case so far, and I've been using these for a couple months. Would recommend this product!

Multi-purpose.

So, I actually purchased this item, not for it's intended purpose but for another reason altogether. For my dog. My dog likes to stand with her front paws on the middle console. The problem is, that the console is made of a hard plastic, causing her to slide. So, I though that these pads would help her with her footing. And they worked perfectly. Also, I can remove them when I don't need them and it keeps the console free from scratches as well!

Holy moly this thing is sticky!!! I’ve had it for a couple months now, once it starts to get dirty it becomes less sticky but all you have to do is peel it up and go wash it with warm soapy water and bam it’s sticky again. I have recommended this to a couple people. A + product.

They do the job.

I bought these for a bit different purpose. I am in a wheelchair and when in my chair my feet tend to spread apart. I have used straps to keep my feet together but that is a hassle so I thought I'd give these sticky pads a try. So far they are working. Not sure how long they will last but at the moment I am very happy. Thank you for your product.

Exactly as advertised.

Sticky pads keep your cellphone and other items from sliding around the vehicle while driving. Works a lot better than other rubber pads without the additional stickiness.
