I like the angle of the tips of the tongs

I bought this product for picking small, cone-shaped rabbit snails out of my TALL 60-gallon fish tank. I needed a small enough tip on the pinchers to get into my plants or push into a small patch of gravel, as well as sufficiently rough grip and good surface area to hang onto the shells. Most of the tongs have a finer grips, more like how tweezers come together, which will not hang onto a snail and are less likely to push into a small space. These did the job.

This grip permits easy pouring.

Works as advertised. The tongs do indeed grip a crucible well enough to remove it from a furnace. I then set the crucible down and adjusted the grip used the circle part to hold the crucible around the middle. This grip permits easy pouring.

Pay attention to the size you need

They would work if i had paid atte tion to the size. My crucible empty is 50 pounds. These are WAY too small
