Excellent Kit!

tch hooking has been a hobby of mine for over 20 years. I have purchased many kits throughout the years and this one is my favorite brand by far. Many of the kits you buy at the store do not have a bound edge and causes them to become damaged while working on it. I have not experienced that problem at all with this one. I also like the fact that it has a zipper on the back which allows you to fill it and make it into a pillow. I purchased my own latch hooks because I did not like how small or thin the grip area of the hook that comes with this kit is, but the one it does come with will work just fine; this is just a personal preference for me. The negatives of this kit, which may really bother some people are that the colors on the canvas can be quite confusing. I just use the paper chart that is included. If you stick to using that, you will be just fine. I won't knock them in stars for the confusing colors on the canvas given that they provide a very easy to follow chart, a latch hook, bound edges, capability to fill it to create a pillow, and a really convenient case to store your materials in. Overall, this is by far the best kit I have purchased.

High quality tool included, high quality canvas + yarn

This is my 3rd kit out of several ordered on Prime. It's SO far superior in quality. -The canvas is made of thread, not plastic and doesn't pull hard or break. -It came with its own needle which glides SMOOTHLY, no pulling at all. I think my 10yo will be able to help with this project where he couldn't with the previous ones because they were low quality and required a lot of management of/dexterity with the needle, canvas, and yarn. -Yarn quality is perfect. It's soft, not synthetic feeling and doesn't unravel or get stuck. I really like that the picture is printed on the canvas but also comes with a paper pattern. I like that it's already made into a pillow kit. I was worried that this would hinder the stitching process but the tools work so easily that it has been no problem. My only wish is that the 10x10 grids were marked out on the canvas. The way it is, you have to keep track of each grid. This can get tricky because of the piping edge being rounded, it's hard to know where to start and there's no quick way to catch it if you're off by a stitch. I also really like that it came with a reusable carrying case. I'll definitely buy this brand again.

Worry free kit

Well worth the additional $3-$4 over other kits. Canvas and wool are both softer. Nice bound edge and backing. Plenty of yarn - no worry about running out of a color. Nice color chart like counted cross stitch. Highly recommend. Daughter purchased another brand and although pattern very nice mesh was too stiff and worries about running out of colors.

Love them all

Just finished this one. Love them all. Won't buy the other kits. Worth the extra money because when you're done - you're done. Insert pillow and you have a lovely, useful pillow/cushion. Mesh nice and soft, lots of "wool" and already sorted and numbered. Use the printed pattern, make a copy and cross out as you go along. Just like counted cross stitch.

easy to use

So cute, easy to use, my 8yrs old son loves it, he helped me to do it as it is so easy to do. Plan to do some more for Christmas gifts.
