Great set overall

Haven't gotten through all the experiments but got this for my 8 year old's birthday and he absolutely loved it. Didn't have all the beakers he was expecting, but it's all good. The box was damaged when it got to me, despite the outside box being intact, meaning they picked up a damaged box and shipped it. At least the contents were intact, but would have prefered an undamaged item.

These kits are AWESOME! My kids absolutely loved this combustion lab! I think these types of "toys" are better than any other. They provide a great learning opportunity for kids and help parents with organizing scientific experiences. Totally recommend this for any kid and parent!

So much fun, and educational!!

This is a great science kit!! My son loves science... He watches Sid the Science Kid and wants to do experiments just like them... So, I ordered this and another Chemistry kit from Playz for him to have some educational fun with... It didn’t disappoint- this kit included a lot of stuff that wasn’t in the chemistry set, so it was a good balance, and we had so much fun experimenting and learning!

Great experiments

This kaboom explosive set has so many different experiments for the kid of any age of around 8 and above. There is about 29+ experiments from easy to advance, also it has plenty of scientific facts for a learning experience. These would make for great for school Science's fairs or even at home. I highly recommend this, and comes with all the main material, and instructions that you need.

Easy Access Science!

We bought this as a gift for my 8 year old niece. She loved the experiments included in this set and wanted to learn how everything worked. This set not only kept her interest, but caused her to ask "why" which was the ultimate goal, so success! Highly recommended as a fun means of getting kids to learn some basic science!

all-in-one fun

This is great!! An all-in-one kit for hours of fun and learning. The box says for ages 8+, but with close supervision and help, my younger kids (4, 5, and 6) were able to help with some mixing and we all had a blast--no pun intended!

Fun and Educational Experiments

Great experiment set that allows you to experience the how and why behind the experiments. It includes a variety of materials, containers, goggles and gloves to make learning fun while teaching safety. Both my son and daughter couldn't wait to start experimenting and the lab guide can let them understand and perform the experiments with little supervision. The great thing about this kit is that you can recreate a lot of these experiments in your home and it gives kids the confidence in their abilities. Overall, a great product that will provide hours of learning and fun for the entire family.

Good quality kit

This is a Christmas gift for my 9 year old grandson, so he hasn’t had a chance to use it yet. However, I’m a retired science teacher who taught for 28 years, so I did my research about this kit to make sure it was a good quality product, because I don’t want to give my grandson something that will be a throwaway toy.

Boom! =)

This kit is great. I studied lots of chemistry in high school and college. My daughter loves all the stories that I tell her about blowing things up. I find this to be a kinder, gentler option to share some of the spirit of my past with her without doing any lasting damage. It includes ingredients and instructions. Obviously, it's not top notch lab equipment, but it gets the job done. We're going to have lots of fun! =)

Fun and educational.

I homeschool my middle school child and thought this would be a great add on to her science curriculum. The booklet is very informative and explains the reasoning behind all of the experiments. All the tools are provided and you just need to include some household items. The experiments are fun. Even my toddlers enjoyed watching the fun.
