Microphone issues

*Edit 3/14* Customer service saw my review and shipped a replacement. It seems to be working fine so far, but I’ve only used it once. I bumped my rating back up to 5 since the mic issues were the only problems I had with it. The sound quality on my end was great, I could hear callers clearly and the volume was fine. The issue was that the people on the other end always has problems hearing me, they would constantly ask me to speak up or take them off speakerphone or complain about a bad connection. The final straw was when a caller hung up 3x bc they couldn’t hear me and they thought that I’d hung up. I threw this away and spent the money on a Plantronics.

Fits Comfortably/Sound Is Good

Fits Comfortably/Sound Is Good (I am told by callers), and equally important is that I can still wear my eyeglasses without the (over the ear) earpiece interfering - or vice versa. It's still to early after purchase to pass judgement on the battery life, but it does recharge in an acceptable amount of time. I have another, older, Mpow Bluetooth which still works & recharges just like when new, and this experience led me to stay with the brand when looking for a newer model.

I like this earpiece, great sound, decent range, and a good battery life. My biggest issue is that they say in the product order that it can swivel and be used in both ears. Mine does not swivel at all. This is the newer model I bought after my last Mpow earpiece died after years of heavy use because I liked it so much, but even the old version swiveled to fit both ears. Also, though the play and pause button is much better than the earlier version, the volume buttons aren't as distinct so are harder to feel which one you are pressing behind your ear. EDIT: Customer support is on top of it. Without any prompting from me, they sent me a new earpiece which does actually swivel to both ears and it sounds great. I hope it lasts as long as the last one I purchased.

MPOW HEAD SET V4.1

I am very disappointed and disillusioned with this product, I paid $ 33.42 and it stopped working in less than 10 months, this expensive product does not deserve any star. Edit 03/28/2019. After I gave this headset a star because in less than 10 months it stopped working the seller contacted me offering me a replacement and apologizing for what happened, I accepted and in 4 days I already had the new headset, it apparently changed a little the physical appearance, before the volume buttons were silver and now they are black, another thing that I noticed in this new model is the volume level, I notice it a little stronger than the previous one and it is working at my best, I hope that This headset is still working well, and well I recommend this headset a lot because the service to the consumer and the responsibility of the seller are extremely incomparable, the customer service is excellent.

This sit in my ear perfect, you can swivel the ear piece to the angel that allows the piece to sit inside you ear and it does not giggle or move while working or moving around. I always ask if the person I’m talking to can hear me clear and they didn’t even know I had an ear piece

The earbud is HUGE & cant be changed

This bluetooth SUCKS! The earbud is huge! Unlike any other bluetooth, this one does NOT come with additional earbud pieces. The gigantic one that its made with is non removable. If I could rate it a 0, I would. If you do not have elf ears, don't order this. UPDATE 6/27/2018- after leaving my dissatisfied review, I was contacted right away (next day via email) by customer service, received an apology as well as a different bluetooth that fits aa well as has interchangeable ear pieces of different sizes. I change my review to a 5 because the new design works perfectly and customer service was fantastic!

Long battery life, convenient to listen to podcasts

I use this exclusively for podcasts. The battery life is good, lasts several days. I have not been able to confirm the headset works for voice calls. One gotcha is that the power is on when the switch is down. Note that the pairing instructions are confusing. you will need to press the button on the round MPOW logo. once paired it has worked well. Pressing the logo allows you to pause and play the current audio (if supported).

This device earns every star

I’ve own many Bluetooth devices and I’m amazed that one for $30 consistently outperforms my Plantronics 5200. 5 stars for comfort, range, and sound quality. Battery life is average for this size Bluetooth (about 4-5 hours). At this price point, if it fails after 6 months so be it. I’ve been frustrated with $100+ devices that’s fail in one area or another. The one downside to the Mpow is can only take a 4 volt charge. Be careful not to use any charger....you can cause damage to the device or possibly a fire. They are transparent about this in their advertising and in the packaging.

I'm giving this item a 5 because it is a really good product. It has so many features - I especially like the sound - for such a compact item. However, I am unable to use it as it keeps falling off my ear. l don't have large ears so suggest that the producers make adjustments in future to fit various ear sizes. I'd ordered another type which fits perfectly but doesn't have the sound quality nor the other features. BTW the cost of both was less than 1 or of ear buds I bought in my country (which were knockoffs). I will certainly recommend the MPOW Crescent. Jun 15. I still have not used it because it's too big for my ear.
