Easy oil change.

I ordered this pump because it was wintertime and didn't want to climb under the car in my driveway. I just wanted a quick fluid change. Make sure you start with warm oil, not hot (You might melt the tubing). I pumped the old oil into an empty container and replaced the oil with new. I'm sure it doesn't pump out every drop, but I don't care. I'll replace the filter next time when the weather is nice. I did take the cap off the pump first and sprayed lithium grease on the impeller gears, which are metal. There are numerous videos online about how to use these pumps.

I changed all my mowers, edger, and car oil for winter using this pump. Love it. I felt I got more oil out using top side pump than drain plug on bottom? Oil should be warm but not placing hot.

Better than Expected. Worked Perfect

I was very impressed with this pump. Really wasn't expecting much for this price But... Sucked 5 quarts of transmission fluid through the dip stick tube in about 6 minutes on A 2012 Chevy Silverado.The larger hose wouldn't make the bend ,But the smaller hose got to the bottom of the pan.

Quick, Mess Free Oil Changes

Used this to replace the engine oil on my car. Suction tube is the right size to fit into my dipstick tube. Took maybe 10 minutes to drain 8 quarts of oil from a warmed-up car. Might be quicker to just pull a drain plug, but this is waaaaay easier that fooling with a jack or ramps and sliding under the car. A must if you hav a top-mounted oil filter.

Great addition to the homeowners garage.

For the price this is a great addition to the homeowners garage. I use it to remove diesel oil from my John Deere tractor every other oil change and it works really well. After reading the reviews I did do some things before the first use. Removed the yellow cover and applied Dow Corning DC4 grease to the plastic gears so they would run cooler and have less resistance. Also removed the cover where the oil passes through and made a thicker gasket and installed with a thin amount of sealer which should stop any chances of leaks.
