I bought 5!

I love these things! They're easy to use, they're practical in the middle of the night and they're fun! I chose to leave the colors rotating, but you can choose to keep it on one color, if you like. I didn't tell my family about it so I could put it in each of their stockings this year. The sensor is excellent. the light comes on when you're anywhere near the toilet. It's easy to clean. The battery has lasted at least 2 months on every charge. I highly recommend them!

It actually works!

I sort of bought one as a joke... but I'm actually quite surprised just how well this thing works! The sensor works really well picking up movement, and it properly picks up if there's a light on. If the bathroom light is on, or there's no movement, the toilet light won't come on. Quality of the entire unit looks to be pretty good. It feels REALLY sturdy, and the bendable cable stays taut and holds it in place really well. We'll see how it holds up after a few... ahem, splashes, but it looks like it should hold up just fine. The only real complaint... the charge cable is a joke. It's only around 6 inches long, so good luck keeping track of it. Fortunately, it's just a standard USB-Mini cable, and most people own a few of those. But it's hard to complain considering the price. Considering the low price, and the decent build-quality, I see no harm in getting one of these just to try out!

It’s like a disco in the toilet...love it!

I purchased this for my hubby for Christmas because I am the BWE (best wife ever) and saw that he doesn’t turn the light on at night when he does his bathroom run in the middle of the night. I was a little worried that he may be missing the mark without some way of seeing his target so this was a great solution. Works exactly as advertised. Motion activated when the light is off and it feels like you’re at a disco when you’re sitting on the pot. Sometimes I’ll go in and shut the door and keep the light off just so my bum can feel like a dancing queen...why not? The bum needs love too. We have had it since Christmas and haven’t had to charge it yet. I would highly recommend for anyone with boys...or anyone with a toilet, really. This may even help motivate boys who are potty training because it gives them something to look forward to. You never know! Worth a try!

A must-have for every household

I purchased this toilet light for myself and a cousin. I wouldn't know what to do without it anymore. When I have to get up in the middle of the night, the light sensor already detects me before I reach the bathroom door. I prefer the green light so it illuminates the bathroom better. The light stays on until after I have reached the bed. One of my cats love walking in the bathroom now just to see the toilet light go on! Fun for everyone haha I hate having to turn on the regular lights because then I am widely awake whereas with this light I have no trouble going back to sleep afterwards. It's easy to recharge. The first time I needed to recharge was after a month and a blinking red light the day before indicated that I needed to do so. It gave me plenty of time to recharge so I would not miss a night without the light. If I remember correctly, it only took about an hour to recharge. My entire family has toilet lights now in every bathroom - in my opinion they are a must-have for every household!

Finally A Gadget That for Once that Beats my Expectations

This waterproof toilet light really works well. I like the multi-color setting as it changes every few seconds. I like that I can charge the built-in battery via a MAC computer USB PORT. It takes about 20 minutes to charge the battery. I charged it on 12/25/17 and it is still going strong as of 1/26/2018. I don't even use the bathroom night-light anymore as the motion sensor turns the toilet light on about 8 feet away as I enter the bathroom. Also, the toilet light is so bright that I never have to turn on the bathroom ceiling light in the middle of the night. I placed the light on the side of the toilet and it stays fairly clean. To clean it, I just rinse it in the sink for a few seconds and snap it back on the rim. I get more positive comments about the light than anything else in the bathroom! I bought a second unit for my guest bathroom.

All I can say is ... WOW!!!!! I love it so much bought another for my dad, and I'm going to buy another for my friend. I've shown a few people a picture of it glowing and they are buying it too. When you wake up in the middle of the night and want to pee, but don't want to turn all the lights on, this glow helps you HIT THE TARGET!! GREAT GREAT GREAT!!! Hilarious for gag gift and also works great too

Was looking for a gag gift for company Christmas party and this came up in the search. Thought it was hilarious, but many reviews said the nightlight really is convenient and entertaining. So I bought two. Very happy with the one I kept; keeps me from having to turn a bright light on at 3 am and as a gag gift was a hit at the party. Note: after installing batteries (that you supply), hold down power button to turn it on until it blinks red three times. Directions say hold for 5 seconds and then release the button, but you must hold the button until it blinks or it isn't on and won't work.

It's an improved design for sure!

We love our toilet lights, we used to have illumibowl, but it failed and didn't attach well. No problems with this one at all and it's still working a week after charging once with no issues. It impresses the guests, I get a lot of excited people coming out of the bathroom. If a toilet light can brighten an ordinary day, it's worth it. My three year old is also less timid to go to the bathroom after dark now since the room isn't completely dark at night once the motion detector picks him up. It's an invention you didn't expect, know you would care about, but once you have it, you will love it and smile while you use the toilet like you never did before.
