This swivel stand is heavy duty. It went together very easy. I bought it for a brand new 2019, 43 inch LG, which has the VESA bolt pattern and it fits better than OJ's glove. I did use the small spacers (provided) in order to extent the set out just enough, to get the full pivoting action. Otherwise, it'll hit the upper arm. It also comes with several additional size screws, for different model tv's and/or monitors. It has considerable weight, so I am confident, that my new 43 inch will NOT tip over. The main reason I wanted this, was so that I could not only pivot the set, but the legs that come with the LG, are those that are located towards the edges of the tv. I have the tv mounted atop an armoire and I needed the tv to be on more of an angle, in order to better view it from my bed. Now I can also turn it toward my bath as well, so it's a double pleasure for me. The tv now sits an inch and 3/4's high instead of about 4 inches with the LG legs, which is more than enough room for it to pivot over the small cable box, that I need from Spectrum.

I love this swivel stand. I had already purchased and returned two others (the first was falsely advertised as a swivel and the second didn’t fit my tv as advertised). In both cases, I had assembled the stands before returning. So I have assembled a lot of stands recently. This one is by far the easiest one I have put together if the three. It’s also really sturdy and has some heft. Also, it is the easiest stand for adjusting the height of the TV. Note that you can use this stand for TVs larger than 39 inches. I used it for my 43 inch TV for example. As long as your TV has a 200x200 VESA mount (uncommon above 42/43 inch TVs and the norm for TVs 40 inches and below) and is below the weight limits for this stand, you will be able to use it.

Did you buy a TV with those flimsy "chicken's feet" legs? Or are you wavering on what TV to buy because of those silly feet? Have a use environment where that just doesn't work? Here is a great solution. My use environment is a desktop with one audio visual component that needs to be placed under the TV for the environment to work (see photo). The 28" inch LG TV I purchased had those "chicken feet" and they were set too wide, overextending the top of the DVD recording component I use. Sadly, this "chicken feet" setup has become an industry standard. Samsung and Visio are equally guilty..... This Universal Swivel TV Stand was the perfect solution. My component is 17" wide. The base of this stand is 15" wide. So it fits my use very well. It is very stable and it's rear bracket has four height positions. The lowest position was too low. squeezing against my Tivo Mini and Roku. The next position up was perfect, as you may see in the photo. The VESA mount that attaches to the rear of the TV can accommodate VESA spacing of 75mm, 100mm, or 200mm and TV's up to 40" (diagonal). It is also not too physically large to overwhelm a 21" to 23" kitchen sized TV. This mount is rock solid. No wobble or wiggle. It can swivel if you loosen two fasteners. One caveat. If you want the TV to swivel on the stand with the stand footprint staying in place you will need to loosen two sets of fasteners between the VESA plate assembly and the vertical column. Do this BEFORE you mount to the vertical column. The sets of fasteners are otherwise very difficult to reach with tools. The fastener sets each consist of a allen head bolt and a hex nut. I needed to get a tool on both to loosen the swivel. This one is in my home office. Today I just ordered a second one, this for the armoire style entertainment center in our bedroom.

So, this item really filled the bill! First of all, I must clarify something that might well prove confusing to all you would-be Engineers. There are six diagrams to follow, all of which are quite confusing and loads of parts are included in the usual packaging with no clue as to where they actually go. Being a pro at this sort of thing didn't help so I'm here to set it straight as it's actually quite easy ... once you realize why there are so many parts! The very first & second assembly diagrams: all the parts are in the BLACK packaging !!! YES! That's right. Everything you need is right there for you to put together the first and second assembly diagrams. The rest are bolts and spacers. All you do is figure out which bolts fit the VESAs in the back of your screen. Choose the long or short spacers to be used as "washers" and then just screw in the appropriate 4 bolts. Than, just hang the dang thing on the base that you assembled in Diagrams one and two. That's it! Took me about 15 minutes to realize what was what and about two minutes to put it all together ... and it worked like the perfect bonanza. My screen was a 32" Sharp Flat Screen and therefore required the largest bolts at the most distant four corners. It's a Cinch! The stand is not top heavy. The swivel works just fine and has no slack so it won't swing around by itself while you are viewing. You might possibly require a second person to hitch your screen to the track if you screen is larger that a 32". Anyhooo ... the package arrived in 48 Hours! And none of the parts are breakable. Loving It!

This is a solid product. It exceeded my expectations in that it was actually heavy and sturdy. I used it for an old 28" Hanns-G monitor I purchased almost 10 years ago that weighs about 45lbs. This stand worked perfectly. But what exceeded my expectations is that all the tools were provided in the shipment as well. Different length screws, different size washers, and even spacers (which I needed!). Additionally, it came with the allen wrench/Phillips screwdriver so I didn't even need to access my toolbox. I had the stand attached to my monitor within 15 minutes. Note that the stand swivels left and right, but does not swivel up and down. However, you can adjust the height of the monitor, but not by sliding it. It requires unhooking it and hooking it on to another slot, which is not difficult. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase based on quality, price, and all tools being provided.

Weighs almost as much at the 32 inch TV I'm using it on and that's a good thing. I don't have to worry about the cat knocking over our bedroom's TV. Easy to put together and looks very nice. My only "complaint" is that the back plate is huge. But, I have a smaller TV attached to it and this stand is made to hold TV's twice as large so... I guess it's more of an observation than a "complaint".

A fabulous TV stand! My TV came with those little legs. I prefer a stand. This one really fit the bill. Very heavy base and was easy to put together (and I am a 70-year-old female....quite handy though...had no problems at all). It even comes equipped with screws for attaching multiple type TV's to the VESA stand, which itself can accommodate different screw configurations. . I used the little screws for my 100X100 compliant TV...... I am very happy with this stand and recommend it highly. Also very well priced!

I like the simple design and clean looks, a single post from the base with the butterfly shaped plate, rather than some complex array of vertical and horizontal cross pieces. The base is very heavy tempered glass, and the post attachment seems plenty secure for my 37" TV. For a larger or heavier TV I would want the base of the post to be a little wider maybe but overall everything feels very secure. Because I had read other reviews, I was not intimidated by the many screws and spacers provided - they are just there so everyone can use the right items for their particular TV. Spacers are only for use if the plate interferes with the connection panel, which was not the case for me. The swivel has a good range, and feels balanced in any position. Rubber feet on the base are high enough to allow air flow for the cable box I have it sitting on. The stand is designed to hold the TV vertical, no means for adjustment, but between the TV's weight on the post and swivel, and flex in the back panel of the TV itself, it tilts down maybe a degree or two, easily remedied with a thin spacer - I'll probably just use a couple of the extra washers - between the plate and the TV on the lower mounting holes.

Easy to put together and allowed me to continue with the sound bar setup. Very pleased. Fitted a 34' Visio nicely. A few pointers: The directions kind of make it seem like the arm should be reversed, just use common sense, the Velcro straps should be facing towards the wall and not TV. For those that have an issue with the stand being too close to the TV, that is why they give you spacers, you have a plethora of parts to choose from and won't need them all. Lastly, before ordering, get your lazy butt off the sofa, get a measuring tape and make sure the tv screw pattern meets 75mmx75mm to 200mmx200mm,

Purchased this, because someone gave my daughter a 24" LG flat screen to use for homeschool. But they had it mounted on the wall and threw away the stand. So I found this and had it 2 days later. It is very heavy duty (especially for a 24" tv). I let my 12 yr old put it together with me observing for help if needed. The instructions are for the most part pictures only, but she managed well. Probably because I've always shown my kids to do stuff, not just done it for them. Anyway, she got it put together with a ton of extra parts (different sized hardware for different tvs/monitors). Pros: - Extra heavy duty - Easy to put together - Should last forever without abuse (glass base) Cons: - because of the placement of the inputs/outputs on my particular tv, there wasn't a lot of room for some of the cords to plug in. Luckily I had 90 degree adapters to make it work. They do provide different sized spacers to help accommodate that, it just was tough where the mounts were on my tv (LG's bad). - Pictures only instructions might throw some, but it's really not too bad. Happy with my purchase would gladly purchase again if in the same situation!
