Absolutely great product!

I got this product yesterday. It has absolutely great sound quality for the price. I am so glad I have this little mic in my arsenal. I have another mic from another company that I got for more money, but this mic has the same, if not better sound quality. I live-stream a lot on my phone, so I will use this mic whenever I live stream on my phone. Compared to other clip on lavalier mics, this one's wind screen stays put (which is something that I was having problems with my other lavalier mic from a different company). Also, the mic clip is very firm, so the mic doesn't fall off ever. The mic also comes with some different color windscreens if you want to vary up the color. I haven't changed the windscreen yet, but I'm glad I have that option.

Worked with iPhone.

I recorded outside and just hooked this to my iPhone and it worked perfectly. It even picked up words I said under my breath.

The Pop Voice Microphone works as adveristed

Received the PoP Voice Microphone within the two two as promised. This works with both the IPhone and my a had held recorder I use.

Works Great!

Works great with anything that has a standard headphone input. Nice clip to hold it on your shirt, a couple of pop filters to keep out the plosives. Great for interviews and podcasts. Would also be great for Facebook Live and such.

Good and Inexpensive Microphone

I’m always looking for hardware and software to review that compliments my Youtube channel. And, last week I found an inexpensive Lapel/Lavalier microphone for $9.99 that I thought may improve my Youtube video audio. I have been recording with two different microphones: either the microphone built into my Canon PowerShot camera, or an inexpensive stand alone microphone I plug into my PC for recording with OBS Studio when streaming live or talking technology on my channel. So, I ordered the microphone on Amazon, and in just a few days it arrived packed in a padded envelope. Unboxing the Mic Of course, it’s a lapel microphone so it’s going to be small, and was packed in a small box. After opening the box, I found the microphone on a clip attached to a 6.5 ft cable, stored in a small black pouch with a small set of instructions. Also Included were 3 wind muffs and a 4 pin to 3 pin 3.5 mm adapter for use on your desktop or laptop PC. For the test, I plugged the microphone into the mic input of my desktop PC and launched OBS Studio. And, because I did not read the instructions, I didn’t know I should have use the adapter in my PC. For use on mobile devices, like iPhones, Androids, iPads or tablets, you don’t use the adapter. So, without knowing, I recorded my Youtube video microphone test without the adapter. To my surprise, on playback, the audio was great. Since the audio turned out well, I was a happy Youtuber. So if you’re looking for a low cost microphone, I recommend the Pop Voice Lavalier microphone because it sounds great and is inexpensive at $9.99. However, no audio specifications were listed on the instructions, with one exception. On the front page of the instructions, it showed a picture of the microphone and 360 degrees at the top, which meant it was an omnidirectional microphone. I then checked the Amazon listing and it listed that it was an omnidirectional condenser microphone with noise cancellation, but with no other specifications.

Great lapel mic for a great price!

I've used this lapel mic for about a week now. I've tested it out in several situations, mostly for videos and live streaming since I do content creation. I have to say, compared to other mics I've gotten for a similar price, this is great. The sound quality is good in my video playback. This worked well for videos and live streaming. And this will work with your phone too! This comes with a PC adapter. You want to make sure you use the PC adapter with your PC. Don't use the PC adapter with your phone, however. I suspect the PC adapter may help bring the audio to a more correct signal level for the PC. The clip on this is metal. It's not a plastic clip like you might find on other lapel mics in this price range. It feels pretty durable, and for someone as rough on my hardware as I am, that's definitely a good thing! Overall, I'm pretty happy with this microphone, and will likely order a second one at some point.

Loud & Clear using my Android

This is the first lavalier lapel microphone I've ever tried. I don't know what to compare it to so all I can do is state my experience. This is a plug and play device using my android phone. I was surprised at how clear the sound was given the inexpensive price of this product. I've not had the opportunity to try this out at a crowded museum or at a ballgame where background noise is an issue. I'm making a run up to Chattanooga tomorrow and I will stop and use my phone to record some of the beautiful scenery with added commentary. That should give me a better idea of how this mic functions in a place besides my home. My initial impression is that this is a darn good bargain for those of us who shoot amateur video and don't expect to record professional grade sound.
