If you at least average smart, you will be able to read the results and see the difference in colors.

They’re inexpensive litmus strips. They’re very bright when they change color, so the activator chemical is definitely soaked in really well, but you can’t really read anything but whole numbers for the pH... not a lot of subtlety between reaction colors. Great for the money, though 👍🏻

Seems to work. It is a little tricky to learn to read when it's fresh because the color takes a moment to develop, but 2 or 3 strips in you'll get it. I use it to test my hydroponic system and it does a good job. They're smaller than I thought they would be, but still plenty big enough to do the job.

My boy used these to PH scale different liquids as part of a science fair project. From what I could tell they coorelated with what was known to be acidic/alkaline. You get enough strips for a lifetime in one pack unless you're totally geekin hard.

I got these to test my soil and water and they are so helpful! I was having no success eliminating itchy poisons permanently like in previous years! When I tested all of my water, even hot, the Ph was only about the same as urine, a 6 or 7. Since then, I have washed my calamine, oat wash, glue solution into the sinks several times per day, not only in the shower like before, and double or triple boiled my water. Finally, the Ph is now going up to 9 and 10. I am trying to get a 14!

You get a lot of test strips for a very little amount of money -- excellent value! I don't have a known accurate pH meter to compare these test strips to so I can't comment on their accuracy. However, I created an acid bath and sure enough, the strips said it was acidic. After I was done using the bath I neutralized it with a base and this was reflected in subsequent testing as well. I also tested our tap water which is from a well and it was about 9 which seems reasonable. I would trust these strips for projects where you don't need precision (in which case you probably shouldn't be using testing strips anyway).

Takes a bit of time to change color and it didnt come in a resealable container as the humidity can have an effect on response. Other than that I love them.

Worked great in the classroom environment. Students really enjoyed using them.

I use these to check my Star San sanitizer for brewing. The colors are easy to tell apart and it matches perfectly with fresh star san.

These worked just fine for science class
