Tremendous Help When Beading or Crafts

Love this magnifier glass set! I can change how close I need to see with the flip of a glass. The set stays on your head nicely and has a great little light that you can adjust to see in small spaces you are working with. Very versatile set. I would recommend it for people who like to bead that may need help with seeing smaller beads and pieces, helps assure accuracy and neatness.

This thing is amazing!

I was originally looking for a lighted magnifying glass and clip stand to hold small parts while I worked on them, sort of like a soldering station. Came across these magnifying glasses while I was researching on Amazon and decided to go for it since the reviews were so good. I'm super happy with this purchase! This is great value for the money! It's so easy to work on small things, like watches and other small electronics, using these things. Both of my hands are free and I can see tiny stuff really easily and well.

Great for Doing "Hands Free" Tasks

My hubby has been using this over and over in order to change batteries in several watches. He has said it works very well in order to do tasks that require using a "hands free" magnifier. He says it makes doing the tasks much easier, and the light is an added bonus. Would recommend.

Perfect for Cross Stitch

I was worried that I'd have to give up my hobby because I was having such a hard time seeing the small details on the pattern and on the fabric, even with my readers on. These glasses are the perfect solution! I'm able to select the magnification that works best for me and the light is directed exactly where I need it. I was concerned by some of the reviews that said they weren't able to use the light because the glasses were too heavy with the batteries in. I didn't find that to be the case at all.

Great value, functions as described and very versatile.

This is probably one of the best purchases I've ever made. It's great for sewing, threading needles, painting fine details and other close craft work. They do get a bit heavy once you add the 3 AAA batteries, but I just keep switching the spot on my nose and could easily pad the nose clip...that's my one suggestion...a padded nose rest! The size doesn't bother as others have said. In fact, I wear bifocals for reading, so I'm used to looking up over to view TV or something else when I look up from my work. I love the nice lens case and that there are so many strengths to choose from. Great bang for the buck here! The light makes the function of these lenses perfect!

TOTALLY WORKS!!

Every once in a while, a product comes along that makes you wonder, "How have I lived without this my whole life?" This is one of those things. I made the mistake of having lasik surgery on one eye to correct nearsightedness. (They convinced my that my close-up vision would decline as I got older and I'd end up having to wear readers anyway, which turned out to be a lie, so why not correct one eye so I can see far AND close.) In reality, it DESTROYED both close-up and far because now I can't see either in great detail UNLESS I correct for one eye or the other. Which led to serious problems when I try to read, do crafts, work on jigsaw puzzles, do photography, anything close than 2 feet. I have glasses that correct my nearsighted eye to 20/20 for far away like my lasik eye, but then I have to buy readers for the lasik eye and pop the lens out of the nearsighted eye. Yes, I have to carry around TWO pair of glasses now. So there was NO WAY I was going to find something that would zoom one eye a little and one eye a lot. So I began looking into the headpiece eyewear that jewelers use, and those turned out to be super expensive. Then I found these and thought no way could something this inexpensive actually work, but it does!! I wear my regular long-distance glasses, then put this thing on with whichever lens I need that day (depending on how tiny the item I'm working on) and VOILA! I can see up close out of BOTH eyes perfectly. Yeah, it's a little awkward, and definitely not attractive (sorta makes me look like a cyborg) but when I'm painting or crafting, who cares? I don't need the light feature so therefore I do not put in any batteries, which keeps it a little lighter. I'm using the regular over-ear arms to keep it on right now (and it doesn't fall off even though I wear it over my glasses) but I'd like to fix the strap to go around my head. That would be my only problem with this... I can't really figure out how to add the strap. I feel like I'm going to break the arms if I force them off. But that's still a minor dilemma.

High quality magnifying lenses!!!

If you are an eyelash technician these are the perfect pair! They have different magnifying lenses to choose from and the light attached to it is great! It has the perfect amount of light, I have very sensative eyes so light can trigger migraines but these don’t do that. Worth the buy!

Better than expected.

This item comes fully assembled. The only thing I had to do was to insert 3 AAA batteries (my own) and insert the chosen lens (of 5 included options) and I was enjoying it soon after. The only thing that helps the macula degeneration on my right eye is illumination and magnification. This product gives me both. The overall construction appears to be durable. The lenses seem to be of optical grade and the adjustable LED lamp is a plus. It comes with a head band, but I didn't need to use it as the fit is comfortable and stable. It comes with illustrated instructions. 5 stars to the Mfr/Seller and to Amazon -- the package arrived days ahead of the promised time.
