I'm in absolute love. A few of the things I really researched ...
After days of researching smartwatches, I landed on this one and it had everything I wanted in a smartwatch except an Android OS. I was very nervous about trying Tizen but after owning this watch for a few days, I'm in absolute love. A few of the things I really researched were: Apps. They are limited but there are apps for almost anything you need. Not everything but close. I have yet to use the GPS apps (yes apps -plural- because there's more than just one GPS app unlike what most of the reviews I read caused me to believe) but I will be trying that app out in the next week. Faces. There are so many watch faces that I'm not sure where to begin. I've used Mario, Zelda, and Goldeneye (I love my video games). Any watch face I've searched for, I've also found. Some may cost $0.99 and up but there are a ton of free ones to choose from. I haven't paid for any faces yet. I'm very happy with the free ones available. Watch Bands. I wanted the Android OS so bad that I almost bought the Moto 360 Sport. This would have been an incredible mistake. You can't change the band on the Motorola but you can on the Samsung. I've already got a new watch band on the way. Battery Life. I've had this watch for 3 days. I received it, synced it, played around with it, then I fully charged it (I received it with 67% battery life). I just had to charge it for my first time. It lasted me maybe an hour short of 3 days with average use. I'm thoroughly happy with this considering I was used to the Fitbit Blaze which didn't last more than 1 day. The difference is that the Fitbit's heart rate sensor stays on all the time. The Samsung Gear Sport has 3 settings for this. Off, frequent, and always on. I left mine on frequent so it checked my heart rate every 10 minutes instead of constantly. Water resistance. I'm not a sporty individual. I work in the medical field though so I wash my hands a lot. I also give the occasional shower to help my patients. So this was important. It's lasted through at least 4 showers in 3 days and my continuous hand washing. So far, no issues whatsoever. Steps. I love seeing how many steps I can get in a shift. A lot of my friends like to see who can get the most. This makes the day fly by so the step accuracy is nice. After using this a few days, I noticed my step count dropped a bit compared to the Fitbit. Then I learned why. I can shake my Fitbit and get steps (almost like an old school pedometer) but the Gear Sport isn't fooled. It knows when you're getting steps verses painted a wall or just shaking your watch. I LOVE that it knows the difference. A few bonuses I've noticed: it tracks my sleep and how well I rest at night. My fitbit did this and it was a feature that wasn't easy to give up so having this on my new Gear Sport too was a huge bonus. I also love that I can keep up with my water/coffee intake straight from my watch instead of having to use my phone. Healthcare management doesn't care for Nurses pulling their phones out at the desk or the hallways. I can also reply to texts and emails straight from my watch. The handwriting thing is pretty nice but it needs a bit of work to be perfect (it's constantly changing my words into all caps). Although you can't make a call from the watch, you can accept and ignore calls straight from your wrist, as well as, send the caller a quick text saying that you're at work or busy, etc. There's so much more that I haven't discovered on this watch yet and I can definitely tell this is my first real smartwatch but I've already had a ton of compliments on it. And just for the record, the bezel makes navigating the Gear Sport so easy! So yes, I give this watch 5 stars. But I also know that things can change so my review may change but as of right now, I'm in love!

Freaking awesome watch.
Hey I just got this today but I have to message the seller about this watch it's awesome and for such an affordable price!!! Ever since I lost my LG G watch 3 years ago during the start up of smart watches I have been dying to have something like that again but more advance for the times now. Not only does this watch have the protection of the band's with the holders on them in the event it pops it also came with a replacement band in the box. And for this being used I'd say it's in excellent condition and I don't say that lightly at all!!! The watch seems to work pretty well so far I have not taken it on expeditions yet or trios but I'm getting good vibes rite now. I've night Fitbit ultas for me and my girlfriend and those things were crap!!! The moment I had to update the software they bugged out and never turned on again so bad experience with Fitbit for sure. Ive tried cheap Walmart devices that just did not suit my needs it felt as though they were bottles of beer that just coated the wound of me not having what I really wanted in a wearable device. After much longing and waiting for the moment I'd buy another flagship smart watch I decided to purchase this a few days ago and I made the rite decision. This watch is awesome and everything that comes with it. Big SHOUT OUT to the seller for this watch yr awesome and thanx alot!!!!

I have it on my wrist 24/7
I have already used it for one and a half years. It's a great device. It has a good size, it feels like a non smart watch. I got a smartwatch for three reasons: sleep tracker, to increase physical activity and Spotify. It's a good sleep tracker, but it misses when you wake up but remain in bed. It's a great physical activity incentivizer. You have a constant reminder for getting up and moving. But what I think it makes stand out from the crowd is Spotify. At the time I bought it, it was the only smartwatch that allowed to download your playlists, so you can enjoy jogging while listening to your playlists without carrying your smartphone.

This watch is GREAT. If you liked Gear S3, this is the same thing, but lighter and smaller.
Samsung Gear Sport Smartwatch, Black (SM-R600NZKAXAR). Otherwise it has all the same fitness and other features; it's WATER PROOF UP TO 50M. The only "cons" are (as far as I know) smaller batter life (2-3 days instead of 4 for S3 - obviously due to smaller size/weight), and possible less effective Samsung PAY (because of one band instead of two) - but that last one has yet to affect me. All the negative comments I'm seeing here seem to be coming from folks who have not previously owned a smart watch, and do not know if it's limitations. The quality of this product is great, it's base operating system and functionality is WAY better then Androids (granted, Android has way more apps, but having owned one, trust me - they are mostly useless). I am absolutely certaine this is a great watch and for the current price it's a steal.

Practically Waterproof and notifications
I did research into a handful of Smartwatches and the two things that caused me to go with this one is the water resistance and heart rate reading. I was more then impressed with the ability to read and reply to messages and notifications right from the watch, let alone control my song's playing and audio level on my phone from the watch. I have had no issues with battery life, generally ending the day with around 45-60% remaining. I charge it nightly. Water resistant indeed, i have swam and showered with this watch without any issues at all.

Works with iPhoneX
I mainly got this watch as I wanted a smart watch that looked like a classic watch. With the settings I have on the watch I can go 2 days between charges. It does everything I need for a smartwatch to do... but my needs are simple. Wake me up when get a late night work text or phone call, nice clear text I can actually read, good heart monitor, and a fantastic swim app. I do like the fitness tracking and sleep tracking features as well. So if you have a iPhone, but want something other than a rectangular watch I would recommend the Samsung Sport. I've included pictures of a few of my favorite watch faces... first is my every day, 2nd is a watch face that allows you to set your own picture as the background, and the third one is when I'm feeling like a nerd.

So far I love it!
I'm one month in with the watch and I really like it. It feels sturdy and high quality. I love the rotating bezel so I'm not constantly touching the screen. As for battery life I get about two day or so depending on the use which is fine by me I usualy take it off and charge it when I go to bed anyways. There are millions of free faces between the gear app and apps like facer so I am constantly downloading new ones. I would definitly recomend this if you are on the fence about it. Also I will update next month if my opinions change about the watch which I hope i never have to do.

Sleek watch with smooth software
I must say I love this watch, it has a sleek and simple design that makes it look like a traditional watch. I initially got it for GPS tracking while going on trail runs, however, I've found myself wearing it pretty much all the time. These are my thoughts on it.... Initial Setup- This was a breeze, I installed the Galaxy Gear App on my Galaxy S8 and followed the directions. The watch was up and running within a few minutes. The bluetooth connection between the watch and phone has been solid with no issues staying connected. I noticed that even when I am out of range the watch switches to wifi and I still can receive notifications from my phone over the internet. Cool stuff indeed. Comfort - The included band fits well and is big enough to fit my large wrist. It tends to get a bit dirty after running, I usually wash it off right after to prevent it from getting too dirty. Have not had any skin irritation using the watch so far. Sleep tracking - If you wear the watch at night it will automatically detect when you fall asleep using a combination of motion sensing and your heart rate. I really like the sleep report it shows each morning with a simple graph showing your sleeping pattern along with your sleep efficiency. Battery Life - I can usually get 3 days or so between charges. Battery life is significantly lower when I use Endomondo with GPS to track my runs though, with charge levels reaching 50% at night. I usually just put the watch to charge while showering to keep the battery topped up so it hasn't been an issue. Software - The Tizen OS is very smooth and gives quick access to various apps using the rotating bezel. I've never had any apps crash on the device, stability so far is great. I knew before purchasing that the app selection is limited but the main fitness apps that I use perform well. Overall I love this watch there's just one thing I wish was included, the ability to review older messages along with creating new messages in apps such as Whatsapp and Telegram. When I receive messages it will only show the most recent message from apps like Whatsapp, currently there is no way to see older messages. You can respond to messages but it would be nice to be able to create a new message from scratch to send to a contact. Only new SMS messages can be sent from your contact list on your watch, however, it would be nice if this capability was expanded to include other apps like Whatsapp, Telegram etc. Those are some of my thoughts, definitely would recommend this watch to anyone looking for an attractive watch that just works.

My favorite fitness watch to date!
Love this watch and the capabilities. Wish the health app had a few more features, but I won't hold that against the watch. Looks clean and professional at work, easy to manipulate while warming up at the gym, and battery lasts for an entire weekend (with limited usage, but nice to leave the charger at home for an overnight trip). Love that I can play with my kiddo and get covered in yogurt, mud, sweat, bath time bubbles, etc. and simply wash in the sink without skipping a beat. Perfect for a mom on the go!

Love it!
I love this watch I had an old gear and the band broke so it was time for a new one. I looked around for a while before deciding on this one. I really picked this one because it's water-resistant, with my old one I was always worried about it getting wet and not working. I can shower in this one and it still works great! The battery life is good also I can usually go about 2 days before having to charge it.
