Love this little thing...so cute. Great for laughs. You can't bring him out and have him start mimicking people without a lot of laughs. So just for the laughter, he's well worth it. I don't know if it's the best toy for children. Good children, yes. Little brats who will just break it...no. I have been trying to post a video, but no luck. I rated only 3 stars on softness, because this toy isn't really meant to be something you "cuddle." It is very soft, but who cares, you know? And volume control...there is none that I could fine. But it's set at a good volume...not too loud, not too quiet.

Fun Little Toy

I bought this toy for my daughter to give to her at Christmas. I decided to try it out and out merry Christmas on it. It was fairly easy to use and works well. I think she will love it and am looking forward to giving it to her. I would recommend this product.

Very cute!

No matter how old or young, everyone loves this little guy! He/she is super-cute, fun, and unique. I took videos of the hamster and sent them to my friends. Everyone loved them! One of my nurse friends got one to take with her on a medical mission to do surgeries on children in Ecuador. The hamster is especially cute when mimicking singing.

Cute and work well!

As soon as these arrived, I tested them. They work fine, and had us laughing. I bought one for my granddaughter, who loves everything that has fur, for a Christmas gift. I'm sure that she will love it. The second one is for us to watch the faces of our cats and dogs to see their reactions. I'm sure they will be intrigued. We will have to wait until after Christmas to find out. They are very cute!

Buy 6, they're small

They should sell these things in a 6-pack. Because if you are going to give this as a gift, you will definitely want one for yourself... and you can think of at least a few friends to give another to. I wanted to give this to a guy that always seem to be incoherently barking out orders to his wife. Just wanted to let him hear himself. Perfect match, he gave it a name and carried it around with him. Suppose he just liked listening to himself? He and his wife just laughed when ever he opened his mouth. I gave another one to a woman... that always had to have the last word. Thought she would finally pass out in front of this thing, think goodness the batteries died first. Another one to a Manly Man, who growled when even saying please. His voice came back as baby chipmunk..." I pity the fool that laughs before I laugh". He hasn't smashed it... yet. Now, I've got to get me one.

Okay this is the most amazing thing we have ever seen

Okay this is the most amazing thing we have ever seen! This thing is just too cute and in it's little hamster voice it repeats "everything" you say! Even when you laugh it laughs in a hamster (sounds like Alvin the chipmunk) voice! My dog was amazed and went close to sniff it and the little hamster repeated even that and literally sniffed back! this is a must, I stumbled on this by accident as I was searching for a gift. We were all in tears playing with it and we're all mature adults! lol I ordered 2 more because I wanted one for work and one for a gift but my husband told me he also wants to take one to the office! Honestly, this is the best thing ever and you need to get one or two......... or three! It's really amazing the way it repeats things and it repeats it exactly how you say it, I mean the tone, pitch and everything! Cutest cutest thing ever!!!!!

Must have toy for your child

This is "must have toy" if you have a child 4 years or older. It was a BD party yesterday at our house and This Humster was a BD gift, What a blast! We all were laughing non stop as kids were playing with it and talking to it. It was non stop till late evening and all guests went home. I woke up this morning with a headache. Too much laugh - not good. Only 1 unpleasant thing is I can not use rechargeable batteries in it, Well, sometimes its good when you can say "We have no batteries to put on your hamster" you know what I am talking about........
