Worked great and fit 32mm fan nut perfectly. Was worried about slop which this tool did not have any. Buy this if you need to work on your car.

TOOL WORKED PERFECT AS I WAS WORKING ON A 1998 BMW 528 WITH A 2.8 WAS SHIPPED ON TIME .PERFECT

Using this tool I had the fan removed from a 2006 BMW X5 3.0l in just a few minutes. It was much easier than I had anticipated. Just remember that the fan is reverse threaded and it will be a snap. On the BMW this will help remove the clutch fan to allow you to access the belts, pulleys, water pump, thermostat and much more. Essential if you want to DIY some of the basic repairs.

had a 31mm wrench but had to order this one. That 1 extra mm made all the difference in the world to get that damn fan off so I could get to my belts and tensioners. Also like the water pump holder bar, makes the job a lot easier.

Great price; worked very well on my 2001 BMW 330 I. A similar tool is sold by a German maker for approximately $75 and you just get the tool without the wrench.

I was surprised at how substantial it feels in my hand, it is thin enough to exactly what it was made for, but beefy enough to inspire confidence that it will not fail when you use it. I was reluctant to buy this, because of bad experience with a friends "fan wrench" years ago. The one i used before was thin, and bent easily, i quickly abandoned it, and went back to a standard 1.25" wrench, and struggled. I decided to take a chance, and buy this one, I'm glad I did. I used it to service my 1988 325i BMW.

These work great, if you’ve never removed a BMW fan, the holding tool does not have to go around both bolt heads also the bolt pattern is not square on most fans. If you hook it on the end hole it will act as a lever and hold perfectly. It’s a tight fit to get the holder on I use the other wrench part to help guide it on, then just hook on the wrench and it will spin right off once you break it loose!

While most tools will probably do the job, it would not do the job for mine. Thing is, the cheap Chinese tools either bent, (The wrench), or broke, (The locking bar). Using this tool helped me get past the fan, so now I can finish my car. Right off the bat, you can tell this thing is much more sturdy and higher quality. The handle probably does not work, but I used gloves, so I have no idea and nor do I plan to find out. Use this tool if you can't get the fan off.

It did it's job, don't settle for a cheap brittle one. This one is worth the extra $10, it's solid!

This is the perfect tool for removing the clutch fan and not having to worry about tearing up the bolts on the water pump pully!
