Perfect sound quality and build quality so far
I’m using it for screen recording and to capture better quality sound on my MacBook Pro. I’m running a 3.5 mm cable from the headphone out on this unit to the microphone in port on this unit. Perfect quality so far. I will add when I was trying to use the headphone out on my MacBook Pro and go into the microphone on this unit there was a high pitch constant noise that it captured. But going from this unit to this unit sound quality was great.

A Microphone Adapter so I can scream obscenities into an IPad Pro.
I bought this along with an IPhone Screen Repair kit. One thing I have learned about things made in America vs things that come from China is that if it is made in America, chances are you probably will not need instructions. Which this had none. Was it easy to use? Yes. Did it work? Yes. Did it frustrate me? No. It is a simple product that any idiot can use with an IPad Pro that has the USBC port instead of a simple headphone or microphone jack. Why does Apple do this to its customers? Probably for the same reason that some people go to a dominatrix. They will happily take your money while dispensing a beating that you won’t soon forget. It will take time for me to forgive them for the IPhone 7S Plus. Hopefully this IPad Pro doesn’t drive me further down the road to substance abuse with all the stuff I now have to hunt for so I can use it. Keyboard, Pencil, Stand, Microphone adapter, where does it end????

works well
A big improvement over the single plug version that I had previously used, which I kept hitting and eventually bent because it stuck out so far.

It works perfect
I bought this device in order to have a mic input (not just the , so I could make a loop connection between the headphones output of my mac and the mic line in of this device. Now I can do screen captures with an excellent sound quality. I'm impress about the quality/price relation of this product.

sometimes it's fine, but sometimes it's not
I've been a fan of other CableCreation products I've ordered, but this one seems iffy - I frequently hear that my Audio is buzzy or robotic when using this adapter, sometimes it's fine, but sometimes it's not... Not sure what the deal is. ---- Update -- I spent some time tracking down where the interference was coming from, by moving my microphone further from my headset I've been able to eliminate it. Doesn't look like this microphone adapter was at fault. Updated stars back to 5.

Works just fine
My laptop audio jack got damaged, and I had a free USB-C port (actually Thunderbolt-capable), so this seemed like a good solution. I like the fact that the USB-C plug is fairly secure and doesn't dislodge easily, but is also flippable. When I plugged this adapter in, Windows 10 instantly detected it and I heard the "bing bong" of the "you plugged something in" sound come out of the earphones I had already plugged into this adapter. So it worked instantly with no configuration, which I really appreciate. "Plug and play" is actually possible! I have not tried the audio input / microphone jack so I have no comments about that.

Works Perfectly!!!
When plugged into my MacBook Pro, this device's name pops up in the list when telling the computer to use it for input/output. Build is solid. Sound is broadcast quality (I am using this for producing radio/TV voiceovers professionally). Use alone with a mic and headphones (I am using Adobe Audition) plugged in directly or patch it through a console. Or, configure to use for output only and use the direct USB-C for input (if your board is set for that). Its name is populated in the Mac Preferences and in Au prefs. In a word: thrilled.
