Wired > Bluetooth :)
Have had more than my fair share of issues with Bluetooth earphones & headphones. Devices that seemed like a good idea on paper (Bluetooth) just turned out to be a colossal disappointment in reality. So, I'm dialing back the clock a few years and returning to Ye Olde Workhorse: the wired USB headset. This particular device offers a comfortable headband and ear pad cushions. There is some sound leakage as the devices aren't lodged half way up your ear canal, but the bass and treble are more than adequate for my needs. If you want mobility then don't buy these. Use your AAPL supplied 'buds for that. But for every other use case, I can recommend these without reservation. Enjoy!

Work Well
I use at work, mostly for Skype conference calls. The headset on my desk phone wouldn't connect through my laptop, so I had to dial in manually each time. Also, I have a hearing loss, so I had to take all calls at top volume (my hearing aids were useless with the desk headset), which wasn't even loud enough at top volume on occasion. This headset is more than loud enough well below top volume, and it's great sound for conversation. My coworkers agree that the microphone does a great job on their end as well. This was the primary purpose so I have to give it 5 stars. The volume is awesome and the mute on the cord is handy for conference calls. I wish it was on the section that allows normal headphone jack, but it's on the USB section. That means I sacrifice one of my two ports (other is used by my mouse) when using it. I do listen to music occasionally, or even just use them for silence, as they fit over my ears completely. I can't say they are great for music, as my hearing is less than perfect, but they work plenty well enough for me and Spotify while working on the computer. The only complaint, other than control location, is that they do fit a bit too snug on my head. After about 2-3 hours my ears start to hurt a little on the top edges that get squished since they go over my entire ears. I give my ears a break and it's fine. Mayb they'll loosen with time. Having said that, (and despite claims by others around my ego) I have a smaller size head, I'm female, and my ears don't really stick out. That means you may want to reconsider if you normally find you have issues with similar items due to head size, ear shape or sensitivity. I think for the $25 range price, and what I use it for, it was a great purchase!

I'm Listening
I do work-at-home tech support, and a usb headset is required. for years my go-to was a microsoft lifechat 3000, just because of the sound quality. but I finally grew weary of the fact that they die every six months, almost as though they're programmed to do exactly that. I'd forgotten to get a backup and the headset croaked last friday, halfway through my shift. realizing this cost me several hours of dealing with problems created entirely by windows 10 updates, I was in no mood to give microsoft another penny... looked at every usb headset amazon carries, and (because of the reviews) it came down to a choice between this vtin and the criacr usb headset. except for the logos, they look exactly the same in the pictures, but I chose this one because it had a $5 discount at the time. it was supposed to have arrived in time for my next shift, but there was some kind of mix-up and it didn't get shipped, then it was on back-order. needed a headset asap so ordered the criacr, and amazon gave me a credit for the price difference. apparently by then it was too late to stop the shipment of this headset, so I decided to keep both and have a backup on hand. and that's how I discovered that the two headsets are not exactly alike, though they share the same quirks. I like the feel of this vtin better than the criacr, only because the ear pieces are bigger and the padding is thicker. if you like small ear cups, the criacr is for you. neither mic comes with a "muffler," and I don't like using mics without having the cover (to remove "air pops" from speech), but I've saved the old ones from previous headsets, and they work perfectly on these headsets. BOTH headsets show up in the device manager as speakers and mics, rather than as headsets. that part is kind of making me crazy because if I want to hear the mic through my headset I get an echo. that said, I can hear my voice fine with that feature turned off, so it's not a deal breaker since customers tell me the sound is crystal clear. but I'm going to keep trying to find a way to get the headsets to register as headsets. it's great that there are two kinds of connectors, so I can use them for both my computers and my mp3 players (the sound is perfect for music and videos). and now that I have a backup headset, I can relax while hoping these also don't croak regularly. I'm so careful and gentle with headsets there's no reason I should have to buy a new one every six months. if these crap out after six months, as the lifechats have done for years, I'll be back to change my review. but for now, I'm very happy with this headset.

A couple of configuration notes for great headphones/headset
These are the best headphones I have owned, and all for $22! They have larger diameter speakers which gives it great bass and a natural sound. The thick cushions are comfortable and block out most of the sound. Just a couple of notes installing them on a Windows 10 PC using the USB connector. I had to do a couple of things to get it to work: 1. At first no sound came out. I had to go into Control Panel | Sounds and change the default speaker to VTIN. Then sound started working. 2. The volume buttons on the USB connector were not working. I unplugged the USB connector from the PC and plugged them back in. Then everything worked!

SO worth it! Game changer (if you're using these for work)
BEST HEADSET EVER! Ok, so for work, I'm talking to people all day everyday. These headphones are so amazing that I'm using them for normal conversations too lol The sound is loud, clear, and the mic isn't obvious to the other person. On the receiving end, its super clear and you cant even tell (yes I tried it, to see what people are going to be hearing). I honestly love this product, and if you're in sales/use your phone constantly, you NEED this! They are a little bigger than the average work headset, but they're SO much better. I've had the smaller one ear ones, also, and these are so much better. Especially if you're in a loudish environment, it helps mask the noise.

Really GOOD for the price
I bought these after my grandson broke ANOTHER set of Turtle Beach headphones. I was looking specifically for something that did NOT have a plastic static mic, or worse, the kind that pushes into the headset, as the wires internally break way too easy on those. These have very good sound, I can hear most games I play quite clearly. Caveat - I don't really play FPS, so I can't say how they work on those. I've played a little Destiny2, and they're fine for me, but I am by no means an FPS expert. Features I love: * Long Cord, with both USB and 3.5mm Audio Jack - which I've used several times for phone calls for privacy * Over the ear cushions * In-line volume adjustment * Multi-adjustable Mic, that hears pretty good even when I move it out of the way to eat, unfortunately (lol) What I didn't like: * Out of the box, they were a little tight on my head, but with time and a little careful stretching/bending to loosen them up, they're now perfect, and I doubt they will loosen any more before they eventually die. * In some cases the cord might be *too* long. I have mine clipped up because I don't move around a lot, but if you move, pace, need to occasionally reach for something (like gaming or a home office) these would be great! * The noise cancelation from outside noise - eh. I mean hubby has to raise his voice pretty loud to get my attention, and if I'm having a conversation I have to have one side off my ear, but in a quiet room I can still hear a radio if it has decent volume. However, for knocking out a general conversation in the room while you game or watch a show, they're fine. For the money, I have yet to find a good headset that these would beat. These are just as good if not better than my first low-end Turtle Beach headset I bought years ago at about the same price. And those broke easier and had a shorter cord. I will likely buy these again, for myself or others.

DISAPPOINTED!!!!!*UPDATE 4/18/18
**UPDATE** I received the replacement pair of headphones and they work wonderfully! I am very happy with the customer service provided from this company. Money well spent! *UPDATE*The company contacted me and said that they would like to send me another device and apologizing for the defective one. This was nice but I haven't gotten the new one yet. I will update you all once received. I am really hoping that it works* Opened up the package today and plugged them in and can only hear in the left ear. UGH.....So frustrating! I'll play around with them a bit but if they don't work properly I will send them back ASAP. I bought a warranty also...Hopefully that means something~! :(

Does just what I needed it to do. Good for the price.
At first I had a hard time with this headset, but that was because of GoToMeeting and not the headset. I like to hear my voice when I speak so I set up Windows to allow that, but GoTo has it's own sound processing and it created a loop of echos. Outside of GoTo, I have been very happy using the headset for skype meetings and recordings. I have to do con calls from my desk in a cubicle and the ear "poofs" do a good job canceling out the random noise. I'm sure you could pay $100 more for a higher level of noise canceling, but this was fine for my budget. It does what it needs to do.

Logitech and Jabra owner SAYS BUY THIS NOW! don't bother to look.
As a person who has ONLY owned Logitech and jabra THIS THING ROCKS. i wanted a differint fitting headset then my jabra for work. But this was no less tighter but i just have a big fat head lol. When used them though the sound was amazing it compared to my $150 logitch g35 headset i have. Since it was no less tighter i gave them to my son who is a gamer and he dumped is $100 wireless logitechs for this thing its loud and a good quality feel. I liked it so much when my friend on VRCHAT needed a new headset i had her buy it. SHE SOUNDS SO MUCH CLEARER for the price its not only worth it BUY A MUST the fact you can use it on the pc USB or anything else with a headphone jack just makes this thing a winner no matter what.

... communicate by headset for long hours then I highly recommend this set
If you work from home or have the need to wear and communicate by headset for long hours then I highly recommend this set. I regularly wear headsets for work at home and my previous set (Logitech H390), which costs about the same as these, doesn't even compare. Everything the VTIN advertises is accurate. The only negative and this is so minor I don't even think it's worth mentioning, but this is a review and it might be important to someone, is when you fold the earpieces flat to lay them down they don't really lay flat because the microphone extends underneath the opposite earpiece (it's not possible to bend it down to avoid). But, like I said, it's not a big deal to me and it doesn't affect them in any way. This is an amazing headset for this price point. Good job VTIN!
