REVISED AGAIN AFTER MONTHS OF USE

Revision, April 3, 2019 After a few months of use of the replacement we received I am happy to report that the Hathaspace Air Purifier is working well and doing a great job of cleaning the air in my home office. Any and all previous complaints on my part are null and void and I can say with confidence that this is the best air purifier available, as I have tried quite a few others. I am now giving it the 5 stars it deserves. Revision, June 27, 2018 We received a replacement as soon as the Hathaspace purifier was back in stock. I have upped the review to 3 stars due to their stellar customer service. They were constantly in touch with me keeping informed about the replacement and they paid for the return of the broken one. Sometimes a product is defective through no fault of the seller, but the seller has the responsibility to make it right and in this case Hathaspace did just that. I will add that of four different air purifiers we have owned, priced from $99 to $200, the Hathaspace is by far the best of all. Hopefully the replacement will last a long, long time. I will revise this review again later once we know how the replacement is going to hold up and work as it is supposed to. Revision, June 10, 2018 I want to comment on the Hathaspace customer service. After writing the above review they immediately reached out to me and offered a refund or product replacement. Since the Hathaspace was the best of (now) three other air purifiers that we have tried we really were disappointed that it failed so soon after purchasing. When it was working properly it was doing an excellent job of cleaning the air and making it smell and feel fresher. However, as I mentioned above it did have a plasticky smell initially that seemed to decrease as time went by and when it failed that plasticky odor came back many times more noticeable. It's unfortunate that these products aren't made of BPA free plastics. Due to their excellent customer service I am upping the review to two stars, only because I feel that reviews should be more about product than customer service, although customer service is certainly an important aspect. But, the best customer service cannot make up for a faulty product. If and when Hathaspace sends us a replacement I will report back on the progress of the new product and give it a fair and honest second review. I sincerely hope that the original one we bought is a just a rare manufacturing defect because overall it is a great product when it is working properly.

Nice compact design and good customer support

Light and compact enough to easily move around from room to room, and still very powerful. Love the design, air flows in through both sides and emits from the top of it. Looks better than other purifiers I've had in the past. I emailed in to Hathaspace and they are quick to respond.

Wow! It really works well! Would buy again

Omg! It took a power outage for me to realize how well this purifier has been working. Actually, it makes me laugh when I think back over the past few months. I had been wondering if my sense of smell was going away. We have cats and two litter boxes. I keep them clean, but sometimes the smell was still noticeable and I did not like it. That and the other smells that tend to build up in the house along with allergens made me purchase this unit. It runs all of the time. Well, we had a power outage this morning for about 3 hours. In just that time, I noticed the litter smell seemed a bit stronger than it has been. I wondered why. Maybe the extra canned food I let them have? It was then that I realized the air filter unit was off. All I can say is WOW! I now know my nose does work and so does this Air Purifier!!!!

Gets rid of doggy odor!

If you are a dog person like me, then you know your house can start to develop that doggy smell that may not be as noticeable to you as it is to your guests. The 6 layer purifier is perfect for removing pet and other odors, plus captures their hair in the process. Two large openings allow air to pour in through the filter, and also let my dog hair in, both thick and thin. When you pull the filter out you can tell it does its job.

So far so good

I picked this air purifier because my next door neighbor smokes cigarettes and burns incense. All these stinky smells drift into my house. These things give me a headache. I keep the air purifier in my living room and then move it into my bedroom at night. I love that it has color indicators for the current quality of the air. I like that is has a timer. I like that it has a remote. I have noticed fewer headaches since I started using it. I don't smell the smoke. I am loving this purchase.

Tested and one of the best purchases I have made

I live in an apartment in Houston that was affected by our last hurricane. With the 1 year anniversary approaching, my roof is JUST NOW getting repaired. My guest have told me that my place doesn't smell right, I don't smell it, used to it. All I know is my skin and eyes are dry, and I am tired (poor sleep). I have an 800sq/ft apartment. The first day, I moved it from room to room. The air quality sensor would move from red to green, and I could suddenly tell the difference in smelling clean air. On days 2 and 3, I started to have my doubts, so I did things to test the sensor (cleaned the litter next to it, sprayed aerosols, vacuumed, etc) and the sensor changed colors. It detected the chemicals being kicked up in the air and changes colors. I plan on getting 2 more units in the near future. I wish the made a unit the filtered a larger area. I really like that the UV and Ionizer can be turned off, as one of my pets is a bird. Oh, and my friends swear by it too. At first I thought it was a decent investment, but have since been convinced the unit is under price. Their selling factor was the other reviews on here raving about their customer service. I can see why they are willing to issue refunds so readily. Once you have tried it, you will wonder how you did without.

Works great. I have a dog

Works great. I have a dog, my mom & sister have asthma. They have a hard time staying at my house for too long because of dog hair & dander. I bought this ran it on high for a few days before having them over (turned it off at night) they were here for 5 hours with no symptoms, I would say that’s pretty awesome!

Detects farts.

Need something sensitive enough to filter smelly gases? Then this is your purifier! The four children in my house LOVE passing gas near this to watch it kick up to red. It's become THE thing to do here. (Eye roll) LoL But, at least we know it works, right? In all seriousness, it's quiet, well made, and beautiful. And, I can actually breathe better in the mornings! No more waking to a runny nose! Yay! Highly recommend!

Amazing

We are excited about cleaner air in our home. I have 2 cats and a Golden Retriever love how this adjust to the air quality and cleans the air it’s very quit. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a HEPA Filter.

Less dust visible in our home

Since turning on this purifier in our home there has been noticeably less dust, both in the air, and on accumulating on our glass and wood surfaces. I leave it running in "Auto" mode and it seems to adjust as needed. It is also great for the occasional cigar smoker who wants to keep the air smelling fresh. An added bonus is how well the remote works. It always connects even from across a large room. Love this!
