Much less cussing

5 stars so far. Have only run about 20 loads so far, but I like it very much. It's quieter, uses less water (as load is measured/sensed and water is added only as much as needed). Without big agitator in the way, it is easy to load. It's big (deep) and as a shorter person, it is sometimes difficult to unload when wash is done. You might need a small stool if you are a real shorty! Settings are easy and intuitive. Seriously no complaints really as of yet. . . Also because I replaced a 22 year old unit that was horribly failing, my teen age daughter cusses much less frequently (so that is a bonus for me!).

Is it possible to love a washer?

I replaced a 12 year old GE washer and after looking at ALOT of reviews ( and consumer reports) I bought this one from Amazon. Everything about the experience was great! It was delivered, old one removed and the new one up and running in about 15 minutes! Wonderful delivery personnel. And the washer is amazing. Washes thoroughly and quietly on the spin cycle.

I have no regrets and it is an awesome washing machine

I did quite a bit of research before purchasing this washer from Amazon. There were a few negative reviews about this particular model, however I decided that it had all the features I needed and the price was right. I have no regrets and it is an awesome washing machine. Most of the negative reviews complained about the low water levels due to it being an HE machine. I wish that customers would take a second and read the manual before they freak out and complain. This washing machine will not fill up like the one you had 20 years ago! It has many different stages in a wash cycle. First, gravity will pull the soapy water through all of your clothes when you start the cycle. From there, the machine will agitate the clothes in one direction, while the drum moves in the opposite direction. This causes the clothes to "roll over" through the soapy water hundreds of times. While it is doing this, the washer will add more water from the top and bottom, ensuring that your clothes are clean. I had it for about a month now and probably have run through 25 loads and our stuff has never been cleaner. The washer is huge and you can shove a ton of stuff in there. I really like the multiple cleaning compartments on the top for detergent, bleach, fabric softener and Oxi. I've used all of that and it works perfectly. I was close to buying a similar model from Best Buy. So glad I did not. At Best Buy they had a delivery fee, a haul away fee, a set up fee and you had to pay for hoses too. Amazon included all of that and the price you pay will include set up, all necessary connections, leveling, and removal/haul away of your old one. That alone saved me another $150.00 in extra costs. Don't hesitate. It's a great washing machine at a very good price.

Who knew Amazon was a good place to purchase appliances?

I was a little apprehensive about buying a dryer..any heavy duty appliance via Amazon..however when I went to the store and got zero customer service, I thought I would give it a try. The dryer was bigger and the same price as the one we saw in the store. We knew kenmore was a good brand. I was able to schedule delivery that would be convenient for me. I received an email to confirm and the day of the delivery service called at 730am and said they would be at my home between 9a and 11a. They arrived at about 9:30am. It came new in the box, in perfect condition and it came with the electrical and vent...typically you need to purchase this separately. 15 minutes later my old dryer was hauled away and my new dryer was doing its test run. Yay me! The dryer was as advertised, it’s actually prettier in person and it’s running perfectly.

Great high capacity washer at reasonable price!

I bought this for my daughter for her new home. She absolutely loves it both for appearance and function! She is delighted that it easily accommodates king-sized quilts and other large items. It washes well with the appropriate detergent for high efficiency (low water) washers, which she was already used to from her previous apartment washer. She was also really impressed with the high quality and prompt service provided by Amazon. It was delivered in three days on time with full installation at no extra cost. Best Buy offered only 2-week delivery delay at extra charge! Choice was a no-brainer! No regrets!

Everything is included!

I couldn't be happier! Everything comes included when you buy a dryer with Kenmore through Amazon. You don't have to try to figure out what type of plug or the vent or any of that other stuff. Just buy it and they do the rest, including picking up your old dryer and taking it away! The dryer is great too, it was able to wash a huge comforter I have in half the time as my old one, there's a setting for dampness control, there's an energy saver option. I just couldn't be happier!

You can buy appliances on line without having to go to the big box stores.

Very happy with this product. We purchased both the washer and dryer. They work fantastic. Both have large capacity. The washer senses how large a load to know how much water to use. Very environmentally friendly. Love the gentle sound it makes to let you know it has finished its cycle. The dryer is very quiet. The service from the technicians was great. They called to confirm the delivery the day before and morning of. They set everything up quickly and neatly. I would highly recommend.

Great all-round machine.

I. Love. This. Machine. We've had it for about six weeks and it's heads above our last washer, a GE HE. It does everything I want, especially heavy duty loads. The huge tub handles everything we've tried - including everyday stains and my small loads of dedicates . I washed a winter temp sleeping bag that my last machine couldn't handle. It sat in our laundry room for two years (!) because I couldn't get it together to take it to the laundromat. This machine handled it with no effort and it came out great! My next test will be our king-sized comforter. Every setting I've tried has worked great so far. I love having all the different options for each load. I also appreciate the auto sensor for water so we don't have to guess how much water will be needed for each load. It's quieter (and prettier) than our previous two machines too. The tub is extra deep because of it's size so smaller folks may need a small stepping stool to reach items in the bottom. We also found the drain hose to be rather short for our setup so we'll get a longer one soon. This was our first experience with Amazon delivery of a large appliance. They use Sears installation services. It went so smoothly and saved us additional setup and removal fees. I won't hesitate to go this route of ordering again. Our first washer was a Kenmore that lasted 28 years! Here's hoping this one lasts a long time too.

So much easier than going to a big box retailer.

Amazing.... I ordered a washer and dryer off of Amazon Saturday night. It was just delivered and installed Tuesday morning. I had gone to Lowe’s, Home Depot and Best Buy and spent an hour at each of them and nobody could get me a washer and dryer. They were either out of stock or two weeks to deliver. The idiots at Best Buy couldn’t even figure how to ring it up. I left in disgust. I went out to my car and ordered the washer and dryer in their parking lot.
