Great for tracing onto fabric

I absolutely adore this!!! I got it to trace images onto fabric in order to do needle painting, a style of embroidery. To do most "painting" you need a traced image on your fabric that outlines the various sections of colors, sort of like a paint-by-number. This is very difficult to do without a light table but I didn't want to spend much. Turns out this is exactly what I need! My images are viewable with the light on the highest setting but even on the medium setting I can easily see thru the medium-weight fabric. Altho the paper holder they include is way too tight to be of any use even to hold even paper, I love the fact that a USB adapter is included so I'm not stuck plugging it into my laptop. I have an extension power cord I can plug it into which makes it more portable for my use. I am thrilled with my purchase!!

The light box came very quickly. I love how lightweight it is and how easy it is to use. You just hit the power button and then tap it to adjust the brightness setting. The paper holder included is really helpful too. I'm really surprised I could get such a quality light box for a such an affordable price.

fragile port/cord issue dealt with

Just received so time will tell but I have tried many of these LED trim light boards from other companies (one just arrived and didn't work off the bat) and find they all stop working after 12 or so times b/c the port is so fragile.This company has troubleshooted the issues with the port by adding an extension piece which is amazing. They actually troubleshooted their product which sadly is so rare theses days!

Great surprise!

Wow! I was very surprised how thin this whole thing was! And the brightness is another great surprise! I remember how fun it was to use my father’s professional tracing table to create numerous pictures when I was growing up. Therefore, I have decided to get one for my 8 year old child and she loves using this portable tracing pad. We have just received this in our mail today, so I will see how it will hold up the use which I hope it will for a long time. One thing- a paper holder is a bit hard to use.

Cool light pad and comes with an awesome warranty!

This is a nice light pad,its bright and small enough to take anywhere with you.The only thing I did not like which is not the sellers fault is that,it was deliver unprotected,just the original box it comes in,they didn't even put it in a box with bubble rap.Besides that I like this pad and especially the warranty.

This is a real good product and it works exceptionally well

When I opened up the unit, it was not what I had expected to be honest. But when I turned it on; well I have to say, that removed all doubt. This is a real good product and it works exceptionally well. You can not beat the quality for the price. The 5 year warranty is a total bonus. You don't find that too much any more. I would definitely recommend this product. You will not go wrong. I rivals units costing much more than this and performs the same task.

So far I'm very happy with my purchase. The three brightness levels have been very useful. For my purposes (thus far) I've only barely been able to see through one the first level, but the second two make it perfectly clear. The power/brightness button is VERY sensitive - taking only a swipe of the finger to activate it, so be careful with that. I have had no issues with pages sliding around on the acrylic. Great purchase, great price, great warranty.

This product meets my needs

I purchased this light box to align and trace intarsia patterns. I am a woodworker and enjoy intarsia. If I'm working with a pattern that's larger than 8 X 10, which happens often, I use the light box to align the parts. The light box makes it quick and accurate. I also use it to trace a design that I'm modifying. Usually there is only a portion of the design I'm modifying so I can trace the parts I like and easily make several iterations until I find one I like. When I first got the light box it only worked on the lowest setting, but that still provided enough light. I inadvertently hit the switch and it went up to the next level. My recommendation is if it doesn't go to the next level, keep trying and it will.

Every other light board that we could find had a plug-in for the USB connector in the frame. And the previous one we had failed from the constant plugging and unplugging of the cord. This company has manufactured a light board that rectifies this issue with a 6" patch cord that is permanently attached to the light board. They also supply a cord that can either be plugged into a computer or a 110 volt wall outlet. They back it up with a 5 year warranty, what product has a 5 year warranty these days??? Needless to say my wife is very pleased with the board and she religiously uses it for her Diamond Painting projects.

well made and light weight

Clever design, lightweight and I like the connection for the USB port to this light box, many times this area is a cause for a breakdown to the connection to the uni over time and usage. Some thinking went into this part of the unit design. Three levels of light and works quite well - unit is about 9 x 13 inches, light weight, and well constructed, with plenty of room for your standard drawing papers. The red plastic paper holder bar that comes with this unit is a bit hard to use but it does work as long as two sheets of paper are thin. Sometimes this company offers a discount and an offer of pencils for free which I took advantage of. I used a metal light box years ago as a art student but this device is far better and easier to use at a reasonable price.
