Very solid mount, very well built. Recommended.
This mount was recommended by a friend. At first I was skeptical of the higher price, when compared to the norm or benchmark in motorcycle phone mounts = Ramm mounts. This mount is very well built, and mounts solid and strongly in place, but for the price, it should! I have used it now for the last few months and several hundreds of miles on the road, and my phone has not moved, and I have felt it was just not something I needed to worry about. It comes with the additional rubber harness just in case, and at first I thought I would use that as a backup precaution, but after the first ride, I figured out it isn’t needed at this time, but it is great that it is included. This could also be an addition down the road (pun intended) if the assembly starts to age and or doesn’t seem to hold the phone as firmly as it does when new. Recommended!

Excellent quality, easy to install.
I've been through a number of cheaper mounts, with more than 50% plastic components, which seem to last about half a season. I found this mount and it looked to be mostly made of metal, so it seemed promising. I was right. So far it seems to be worth the additional cost! Solid construction, easy install. The ball head makes getting my phone right where I want it super easy. I work in manufacturing and I had our QC lead take a look at it. He couldn't believe it didn't cost more. High quality anodizing, good coating on the ball head, well sprung to hold the phone solidly while riding without being difficult to get the phone in and out. I'm going on a 5 day trip next month and will update my feedback after putting a 1500 miles in with it.

Buy this if you plan on needing one for a motorcycle. Definitely worth it.
Great product!! I've had it on my 2017 Iron883 for a few weeks now. I haven't had any issues with the phone moving even at 65 MPH. I got into a motorcycle accident yesterday and my phone not only stayed in the mount, but didn't even get scratched. I had thought about purchasing a separate rubber strap to make sure it would stay, but have discovered that to be unnecessary.

Solid motorcycle phone holder
I've only had it for a few days, but this seems like a rock solid phone motorcycle phone holder. The spring-loaded tension seems sound and I confidently use it on open, bumpy roads without the included optional rubber bracket. Installation takes 1-2 mins. So far it's a 5-star product, unless it eventually proves otherwise, in which case I will most definitely update my review.

Why would you pay $10 bucks to mount an 800 dollar phone? Buy this instead and rest easy.
So. You have a 20,000 Motorcycle and an 800.00 phone. Naturally you want to mount that phone with a $10 Plastic mount? Right? OH NO. Not me. But looking on Amazon at reviews, evidently thousands of people are doing that. Again, Not me. This thing is actually inexpensive for what it is. It's strong, well built, and mounts solidly. The only plastic parts are the adapters for different size handlebars and those SHOULD be plastic. I have an IPhone 8 with a Triamium battery case from Amazon on mine and it fits fine. The product claims to fit up to a 3.25 inch wide phone. I think that's more like 3.5. It should fit anything up to that width. So a really heavy duty case should be no problem. If I had any advice for the manufacturer it would be to slightly increase the diameter of the rods and springs that hold the phone so it applies slightly more pressure but that's a personal preference. I'd pay even more for one that was built this way. I recommend this and would buy it again.

This mount did not disappoint. Goes on a removes in seconds
I ride enduro and mostly single track with road riding mixed in. I wanted a phone mount that might have to take a couple spills here and there. This mount did not disappoint. Goes on a removes in seconds. Just used it on a 300 mile round trip to the coast and ate it pretty hard coming down a hill where the bike took a couple tumbles. This mount allows to keep the phone out of the danger zone for any kind of spill or layover, and it worked great. Glad I made the choice to get this one. Note that it DOES come with the silicone piece for extra security for your device. (I bought them as an extra without realizing this). Would buy again.

DO NOT HESITATE TO BUY THIS!!
Firstly, I am a gear snob. I also do extensive research before I buy anything. I cannot speak enough for the quality of this mount. I mounted this to the handlebar of my v-twin and this thing just does not move. The phone doesn’t move at all. The required rubber phone holding band things are pretty much rendered useless because the industrial strength spring in the holder portion is just that good. In terms of size, it’ll fit even the largest of phones. I got my wife’s 7plus with a case in it no problem. Currently, I am using an iPhone X with an otter box symmetry case and a rubber card holder on the back and it fits no problem. However you may have a problem if you have a really thick battery case. I have yet to try my battery case for the iPhone X but 99% of other cases will fit fine, including otterboxes and lifeproofs. The finish is also really nice. It matches the finish of my bike perfectly. I was seriously sceptical if this or any other mount. I kept hearing negative things about the RAM mounts so I decided on this one. Remember that the price point is higher but you’re getting machined aluminum and steel with this product. It’s made extremely well, hence why it matches the bike so well. As an investment to protect and hold your $800+ phone, $60 is nothing. My phone is $1200. So I refuse to buy a $12 phone mount and then flip when it fails on the highway. Long story short, BUY THIS IMMEDIATELY AND DONT LOOK BACK!

Excellent products!!!
Excellent, Excellent product! Rode various terrain such as desert whoops and single track. Phone remained in place well. I have an iPhone 8+ in a standard case. I did try it with my life proof NUUD case and it maxed the clamp size of the phone mount. In my standard lightweight case it holds great. Highly recommend this product! Easy install, and easy to add or remove your phone. Love it!

Safe, secure, and adjustable
I was honestly skeptical of mounting an expensive phone on my bike but I take a lot of random road trips usually on unfamiliar back roads so I really wanted to have a way to mount my phone so that it would be convenient. I looked at several different mounts and frankly most I wouldn't have trusted at all. I bought this mount based on the reviews here and I'm glad I did. I usually use that sling just as additional peace of mind but I don't really think it's necessary. I have my phone (an LG G7 in a Unicorn Beetle case) mounted horizontally and the mount grips the phone so well I feel confident that the chance of the sling being needed is extremely small. More than once I've been riding at approximately 80mph on the interstate and been buffeted by wind from passing semis and it held tight each time. This mount is easily adjustable to fit different bikes and hold your phone in whatever position is comfortable for you. Basically it does exactly what you would want it to do and it does it well.

I like the all metal construction
This was a Christmas present for my son but I got a chance to look it over before he put it on his bike. The spring grip is so strong there is no chance whatsoever that the phone could ever slip or slide out. I like the all metal construction. Some of the other popular mounts have plastic pieces on them which I don't care for. The only non-metal parts on this are the rubber that grips the phone and the pad that goes between the ring and the handlebars.
