I bought this for my Aipower SUA2300i inverter generator. It fits fine. Prior to putting this dipstick in, my generator had about 30 minutes of run time since new. I put this dipstick in and ran it for about 15 minutes. When I pulled it out, there was black crud stuck to the bottom of the dipstick. I pulled it out and wiped it on a napkin. If you look at the picture, all the black stuff on the napkin is the stuff that was stuck to the magnet. This does what it says and for under $10, it is good insurance for an expensive generator. I also have a Generac GP3300 generator. This dipstick fits fine on the Generac also.

The item description states that this will fit a Predator generator. While it may fit the smaller Predator generator correctly the product is too short for the Predator 3500. The threads are correct so if you are happy with a shorter dipstick this product is a great value. I wanted the longer one to dip into the oil more and hopefully catch nore fragments. I also wanted a more accurate dipstick level. I am giving this item 5 stars even though I returned it because it is technically advertised for WEN generators and is made well and a good value.

Bought this to go with a new inverter generator recently purchased. The magnet is small, but plenty powerful. The dipstick is approximately the same length as the original, and the head just makes contact with the plastic outside cover. I installed this on my generator when putting in the initial oil fill, ran it for an hour under load, and changed the oil. The picture shows the metal dust attracted to the end of the dipstick and the dust metal that also formed a ring at the other pole of the magnet on the dipstick shaft. This product seems to work as advertised, and I am satisfied with the results. A few tips for adding or dumping the oil. 1. stuff a paper towel under the spout when adding, checking or changing the oil. Saves a bit of hassle with cleaning up. 2. You don't need to buy a screw in spout to change the oil. Use a milk jug, or cut the top off a water or soda bottle, stuff a paper towel under the oil fill neck, insert bottle over neck, and tilt. Since the dipstick is metal, it will get quite hot--just beware if you decide to check or change your oil just after running your generator.

Worked great for the Northern Tools blue Powerhorse 2000 watt generators. I have two Honda 2000ui's and my buddy, who recently started Rv'ing, asked me about my Gens. I told him to save some doe and go with the Powerhorse brand since he is only tailgating and not camping like we do. He also asked me about my Mag dip sticks and I told him what they did and why they were important, especially during break-in. So we went online and used my account to buy these and they fit perfectly and work great with his Powerhorse generators. So he's happy and I just thought I'd share incase someone else has that particular brand and needed to know if they worked with the Powerhorse generators.

This magnetic oil dipstick is properly threaded and appears to fit perfectly in my iGen2500 generator. I just received the dipstick, earlier than expected (yay!) and haven't run the generator yet, but I see no reason to believe it won't work fine. If it leaks or doesn't perform properly, I'll update. I'm also anxious to see how much metal it pulls from the new oil.

It's an excellent plug but make sure you have the right size. This fits Yamaha EF2000iS clones but I believe not Honda EU2000I. The plug does get hot after the generator runs, so be careful. I also went ahead and replaced the original Chinese sparkplug with NGK BPR7HIX Iridium plug. Finally, I added a cheap hour meter.

First one ordered the threads were chewed up. 2nd one was never sealed in package from warehouse. The third one was the charm. Fit so much better than factory plastic one. Also tons of shavings during break in. Would definitely recommend. Let engine cool before touching magnetic plug it can get hot. Definitely had shavings during both oil change cycles. Should come from factory with this plug. I have a gn400i. If this review helped please mark helpful.

Bought this for my 2000 watt Wen generator Ran it for the first 1,5 hours and it picked up a lot

3 days ago I didnt even know this existed untill I read the owners manual of my new wen inverter generator. It mentioned the optional magnetic dipstick amd the wheels in my head started turning. I did research and found that this is a much have. I just ran it for the second time today, first time with dipstick, for about 30 minutes. Later on at night after it cooled off, I went to clean it with some white tissue paper. I was shocked. There was a glob of metal dust on there and some shockingly big shards of metal. I was blown away. I can only imagine what those shards of metal will do to decrease the life span of your generator. Must buy

Fits my Yamaha EF2000ISv2 inverter generators just like advertised. The threads on the two I received were machined perfectly and screwed in just fine. Now I can see my oil level. I Don't know why Yamaha wasn't smart enough to put a dip stick on the oil inlet cap. There is no way to check the oil level with the factory caps. With these you can and with the magnet on the end it is a plus to grab any metal shavings that may fall into the oil pan from the motor. Great purchase.
