This filter is built real well! When I pulled it out of the box i thought it was going to be as fragile as the OEM cabin filters but was I wrong! This thing was sturdy the moment i pulled it out. Luckily for our Juke, the housing was not so difficult to get to and i didnt need to remove the glove box to get to it. I was able to install it on my back in about 5 minutes. I was a bit worried that I was going to have a difficult time jamming it in there because it edges were much stiffer but I guess I was lucky that was not the case. Wished that I had taken the time to learn that I could do this years sooner. it wouldve saved me so much more time and $$$ than getting it completed at a service center. Will definitely be going with this filter moving forward!

If you are on the fence about which filter to buy or even whether this is a job you can handle yourself; don’t hesitate to buy this filter and save yourself money by giving this installation a try. I used to pay the dealership to install my cabin filters but I realized that I could save myself a lot of money by just watching a YouTube video to learn the simple procedure and do the job myself. The filter I removed was installed in my 2017 GMC Canyon by the GMC dealer. Printed on the filter was WIX which is widely known for manufacturing some of the best filters money can buy. Guess what, this filter by Installer Champ makes that WiX filter look like junk! Not only does this filter contain charcoal (the dealer filter did NOT) but the construction of the filter is superior to any other cabin filter I’ve installed. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate the difficulty of my installation a 2, so why not give yours a try too? Worst case, if you cannot figure it out I bet a friend or family member would be happy to lend a hand. I will be ordering all of my future cabin filters from Installer Champ. Thank you.

I wanted to see if this cabin filter truly made a difference before submitting a review on this product. I had the opportunity this weekend with a long commute out of state and back to see it in action. With the other filter, I would often have to use the recirculating mode when encountering offensive odors in the area and from other cars and trucks on the road. Even with the load that I hauled in the trunk, which had an odor, nothing was noticed in the main area of the car. I never had to use the recirculating button. That was quite an improvement. I was very satisfied with the overall capability of the Installer Champ Premium Breathe Easy Cabin Filter. I would highly recommend it to those seeking a quality product.

My AC started to give a funny smell and thought it was time to change the filter. I usually use the FRA* brand to change my cabin filter, but decided to give this a try as it was cheaper since a filter is a filter (to me anyway). It was very easy to install, came with instructions and fit my 2012 Hyundai Sonata very well. I honestly can't tell the difference in performance but it works perfectly fine and the smell has gone away. I will likely continue purchasing this one since the price is competitive and I don't see any difference in performance over the FRA* brand.

Seems to be well made and, unlike my previous cabin filter, this one had decent foam gaskets on the two ends. It fit into the slot much better than the previous one, and you can only really get it to slide in when it's in the correct orientation (foam gaskets to the front and rear, not the sides). My previous filter's dimensions were wishy washy in that it could be installed incorrectly. This new filter has the airflow arrow clearly marked, and it came with instructions specific to my vehicle. Great price too.

I never thought I’d get excited about a filter, but my Chevy Volt 1gen (2014) did not come with one, yet there's a space for one?? After some research I landed on this filter and oh wow, what a difference!! It is sturdy and solid. I can tell this is way better quality than the other filters I normally get for the other cars. Try one, I think you'll like it.

It is amazing how great of quality this air filter is. The last 2 oils changes I have done, I have been recommended to change the air filter. I haven't done it since I bought the car 2 years ago. Last time, the dealership wanted to charge $70 to do it. While I waited for them to finish, I found this part and a YouTube video to do it myself. I was a little nervous after buying it since I had to completely remove my glove compartment, but the install went smoothly and took no more than 15-20 minutes. My old one seemed flimsy compared to this one. I am 100% satisfied with this part, and I will definitely buy one for my wife's car when hers needs a replacement soon.

My car: 2011 Kia Optima I owned my car for close to 8 years now. I have been replacing my cabin air filter from Day 1, so I went through quite of few cabin air filters from the different brands. [The quality 5/5] This is a good filter. buy this one. As you can see it in my attached photo, you can see this charcoal air filter is way thicker than my old filter from other brands. The charcoal layer will help to get rid of the odor in the Air [The installation 5/5] Installation is SUPER easy. Do not pay the dealership to do it for you!! it takes less than 5 minutes!! [PRO TIP] - Write the date of installation on the side of the air filter. =) - You should vacuum this filter every few months to maintain the filter. - Replace it every year or if you live in the dirty polluted city, 10 months or so. - Dirty Air filter = nasty smell in the car. [Side Note] My 2011 Kia Optima A/C was smelling funny BEFORE I did the maintenance. I performed TWO maintenance. 1. Kia Genuine Fluid UM090-CH035 Air Conditioner Cleaner and Refresher Kit - 18 oz./4 oz. You must have Hose to attached to the A/C drain. ( This step will get rid of the moldy smell from a/c condenser ) 2. replaced the cabin air filter AFTER the AC cleaning.

Purchased for my 2016 Chevy Malibu. The OEM filter only weighed 2 5/8 oz, this Installer Champ Premium Breathe Easy Cabin Air Filter weighs 6 7/8 oz. It has the thickest layer of carbon than I have never seen before on the bottom. I hope it lasts as long as they claim, but given the weight difference I believe it.

This filter is by far the best filter that I have come across. This is a nice thick durable filter. Sorry I got to excited to put the filter in my jeep I forgot to take some pictures. We all know what it looks like and everyone elses will look like the other guys. Lol It is a very sturdy filter. You can fill the weight difference in the old one. This is mainly due to the carbon that is inside this filter. Pulling my old filter out, it started ti cave in on itself and folded outward. Very flimsy. Right away I could tell a difference in the smell coming out of the vents. Its smells now like putting your nose in front of a air purifier. (If you have ever done that you will know what I mean). I will buy these again. They also have the best value when it comes to filter with carbon, the sturdiness, and the price. UPDATE 12/13/2018: Guess what?.......I bought another one! you know, Just in case the internet goes down.......I have a Back UP! I took some pictures of the new one. I wont being opening this one though until I need it. But any way, enjoy the nice hot photo line up!
