I'm giving this hand truck 5 stars because it will be a great tool for me to lug Xmas rubbermaid tubs and other items up from my basement. I am also giving some advice regarding assembly. It did not come with step by step instructions which is probably OK for those who are handy with this knowledge. Being a 61 year old woman, when I opened the box and saw everything apart, I panicked, but what I did do was look very closely at the Amazon page of it fully assembled and actual put it together. It took me about 4 hours with some breaks in between, but it all came together. I tried it and it did not fall apart - so success.

I am a small woman in my 60s. I didn't have any difficulty assembling this. It is well made and makes it so much easier to get up and down the basement stairs with heavy or awkward items.

If you have steep and narrow stairs, this thing is amazing. If you have wider bigger stairs, it will struggle. I would absolutely buy this again. I had a HUGE basement cleanup project that I would have never been able to do without this thing. It rolled right up and down the narrow steep stairs. Much easier than a traditional cart. I was worried that the metal holding the three wheels together would be too thin, and bend, but it stood up to the abuse. As most people have stated, it's not the best at cornering, but it's plenty doable. I keep a traditional two wheel cart around for jobs that require a ton of tight cornering on one level. Right tool for the job kinda thing.
