This product is AMAZING! It comes with 6 tubes of polygel which based on my estimates will each last 4 uses to do 4 full sets of nails so you’re paying like 45$ to get 24 sets of nails that don’t chip for weeks! I’ve convinced several of my friends over to using this too after they complemented my nails. Don’t get my wrong tho there is def a learning curve but here’s some things I learned 1. It doesn’t come with a lamp, dehydrator, or enough files so order them separately(you can use rubbing alcohol above 70% for the dehydrator) 2. When using the file to smooth surface of nails, always use the smoother side of the file to prevent leaving scratches on ur polygel 3. You will 100% overestimate how much polygel you need to use at first, but I promise you don’t need to make it very thick 4. Don’t use the clear your first time as it is too hard to see how thick you are making it 5. Make the polygel thinner at the base of your nail so it doesn’t raise up a lot because that can make it lift easier as it grows out which you don’t want And another money saver I learned is after you put the top coat on the polygel you can paint normal polish of any color onto that and do another coat of the top coat and then you can have whatever color nails you want that won’t chip!

I can definitely say that this product works I was a little shocked at how small the tubes were but I'm still happy with the quality. It was my first time doing my nails in general and I feel like this kit made it so easy

This product is great! I received the kit on July 12th and immediately did my nails. I have never been able to use the sticker forms due to sweaty hands so I wanted to get this a try and I must say it's better than dealing with acrylics. I used the the clear and no problems with lifting at all. I did have 2 nails break where my natural ends but that may be from me not applying the product thick enough or pushing down too hard with the form. One suggestion is to try any other color than the clear for your first time. I used the clear and used more product than I needed. The colors allow you to shape the nail better in the nail forms. I also used a dehydrator and primer before I used the forms. I'm pretty rough with my hands and this has lasted for 12days and going. This is the first time I have used a polygel product. The acrylics I had been using would have lifted by now. The pic is 12days old and I used gel polish on top. I did do some filing around the cuticles and shaping the edges of the nail. Other than that everything else was smooth. Will definitely buy again.

After doing my own nails and learned from what I see on YouTube videos I decided to give the Polygel a tried . So . I went ahead and came across this product after seen all the good reviews I ordered same day delivery. Went to YouTube tutorials and a decided to try French note: this is my first time ever doing Polygel . I must say it took me 3 hrs lol.. it gets messy and sticky but I was determined to do it and came out alright but it is a matter of practice and practice to become a PRO... I definitely recommend!

So I was naturally very unsure of this product.. it seemed way to good to be true. I now really like this product. I have tried builder gels and all types of acrylics but it all just took to long, I needed something fast and really easy to use. It was a little hard figuring out the bead size for each nail but eventually I got it. I used it for the first time today and I love my nails. All the colors were exactly as advertised, the names throw you off but they are shown correctly in the pictures. It's really cool to use with my younger sister too, she was so interested in learning how to use this stuff and I think I now have a new friend to do my nails with. I'm really happy I went with this product. Also upon reading some of the bad reviews I have gone to the conclusion that they either didn't follow the instructions and missed a step or they messed up the curing time. This product it too easy to use and to good to have any problems with it.

Love this product! You do need a slip solution or 70% alcohol to work with the gel. Great starter pack. This photo was taken two weeks after I applied the polygel nails. They do not pop off if your application is on point. You need to utilize a nail dehydrator or rubbing alcohol at 70% or more in place of a dehydrator. My ONLY complaint is that this kit doesn’t contain the dehydrator. You apply it before you do anything to your nails to prep them for application- it removes the oils that make a nail bond weak. This kit doesn’t come with one. If you do not use a dehydrator or rubbing alcohol to get rid of the oils on your nails then your set will only last a week at most. The colors in this set are perfect. I will repurchase this set again and again!

Love this stuff. Worth the purchase. It's a little had to work with if you don't have slip solution (does not come with the product). If you don't have slip solution u can use isopropyl alcohol 70% or higher . Super shiny finish.

This product is great and very easy to use. I think people who had a poor result might be missing a step in the application process, because after reading the directions and watching a few videos, this was a breeze and my nails look amazing. Initially I did them very long, just for fun. But I suffered some breakage, so I cut them down to a more normal length and they lasted a full two weeks. Upon my refill, I used the natural pink (the photo is 9 days post refill...going strong) and made the nails thicker than the first time around. The result is exactly what I was hoping for: a soft pinkish with some translucence, but didn't show my natural nail's free edge through the gel. FYI, most of the colors are very clear. Natural, light and dark pink get more opaque (think "soft pinks") if you make them thicker, and if you want a soft white, just mix a teeny tiny bit of the white with the clear. I use alcohol for slip solution, like others have mentioned, and I also bought the same brand LED/UV combo light for like $10. I also bought an electric nail drill tool (the metallic pink one) and it really was the game changer, as mentioned by another reviewer. Buy it, use it, enjoy it.

The Makartt polygel kit is a pretty great kit. I was doing my own dip powder nails for a while, mainly because I didn't know I could do this type of nail extension. My nails kept lifting by my cuticle within a few days and by a week I'd have to redo them. It didn't matter how well I prepped my nails, I literally tried everything and tons of different kits. I just didn't like the outcome and was never super happy with the results, they were always lumpy and had to file a lot to get them all smooth, and not as strong as the polygel. A friend of mine got her gel nails done at a nail salon and explained the process, I thought I can do that! So I first turned to YouTube to watch videos which were very helpful then ordered this kit. I successfully had a full 2 weeks no lifting whatsoever and probably could go longer but I lost a gem stone and got sick of the color I picked so I did a fill. What a life changer!! First I picked my appropriate size dual form (you will need some space for the product and make sure it covers from side to side) then prepped my nails. I buffed, primed with primer I already had from my many dip powder kits, then applied Protein Bond that I already had (but never really made an impact on my dip powder nails). I haven't tried these without it yet so I'm not sure if this really is essential. Then applied the base to one hand. I used alcohol 91% as my slip solution to make the product manageable. I dipped the spatula tool in alcohol, grabbed some product and placed into the dual form. I then dipped the brush into the alcohol and went to spreading out the polygel. I used more of a tapping method that I saw in the videos which works better. It is very sticky but nothing too crazy with the alcohol, not sure why that's a main reason for some bad reviews. The alcohol makes the product easier to handle. I made the cuticle area a little thinner than the rest of it, cured on half heat for 90 seconds and voila! Beautiful nails! Once finished I applied the top coat and cured. It does take a bit of time, the first time was about 2 hours, I'm very meticulous about them being perfect. The darker picture was my first set, then I painted with gel polish. The first picture is after completing my fill after 2 weeks. For the fill, I've watched a video using the dual forms but I did not use them. I just put the polygel right on top of my nails and spread it around by lightly tapping. They didn't become as smooth as when using the dual forms and some were a little lumpier but nothing a little filing didn't fix. I think next fill I will use the dual forms. This kit comes with a lot of product for many sets. I am not a nail tech at all, just have some experience with doing my own nails and the dip powder and have some experience with acrylic but it's too smelly. Overall this is a great deal and great product. I'm sure these would last 3+ weeks but I like a fresh looking set so I may not let them grow out that long.

Was skeptical to buy because of mixed reviews..But this polygel is overall an amazing product. Its hard, looks natural and very easy to use for ecen the most amateur...Recommended.
