They are quiet sturdy & tall. I was impressed with the heft of each one. I also got a cute spatula with them. I included a photo of one up against my Wilton smother so you can compare them.

I would say I'm a little further than a beginner when it comes to baking but definitely not a professional. I found these tools easy to use on the first try and was delighted with the results! 10/10 would recommend for easy and cool cake decorating!
