Great looking gas filler door, easy mod for your Jeep.
Great product. Easy install, only took about 10 minutes. I would recommend watching a couple of YouTube videos on install before going at it. Very easy but the paper instructions were not very good. Definitely install the rubber gasket before trying to install the unit and I put a light coat of silicone grease (dish soap would work too) on it to help it slide over the filler neck. Pros: easy install, looks great, comes with everything you need to install it, even the Allen wrench, and there are plenty of how to videos on YouTube to walk you through it. Cons: included instructions only come with pictures and no written directions, door doesn't open a full 90° but it does open far enough for gas nozzle.

Superb quality
Wow! What a FANTASTIC SURPRISE for this price point! This is a super solid addition to any Jeep. Made from sturdy metal. Fits my 2018 JKU Rubicon like a glove! Pretty straight forward swap from the factory one. Finally looks nice with the gas cap covered.

Perfect touch.
Very easy install. Took me fifteen minutes and the majority of the time was trying to get the tabs to release from the stock plastic cover and the rubber gasket over the filler neck. Really like the look of this filler door. Gives a more completed and finished look.

Very nice product. Be very careful when installing and take your time.
The instructions were picture based only, and were a little hard to follow at first, but all in all, this was a very simple install. The fuel door doesn’t open up a full 90° but it looks like it won’t hamper the gasoline filler nozzle at all. The instructions have you removing the 6 hex head screws for some reason, but this was completely unnecessary as the entire assembly snaps into the body hole with 4 plastic clips. The real difficulty comes in getting the rubber o-ring over the vehicle filler neck. MAKE SURE to install this o-ring on the fuel door assembly first. It is extremely helpful if, before you push the entire assembly into place, you lubricate the fuel filler neck o-ring with a small amount of dishwashing liquid. This will allow the filler neck to slip through much easier. Note: don’t over tighten the hex screws. 4 of the six are threading into brass knurled inserts that are heat pressed into plastic. If you over torque these screws, the brass inserts will spin and lose their grip.

Looks great!
Good solid product. Make sure you go over the install directions carefully and take your time. It's a very quick install, but like a couple other reviews state you need a lubricant for the o-ring/seal. And watch the pin on the back of the fuel door, make sure it's perfectly lined up. Easier to take the fuel door off to install also. Looks great on my 2018 JKU!

Great and Easy Mod to do.
I got this in about a week ago took and about 3 days from date of order to get it in. But I had to wait for a pretty day to install! It took maybe a total of 15 mins and most of that was just looking for my screw driver and reading over instructions. The only tools you will need is a screw driver and maybe a flat head. I have included before, during and after photos of install. You will need to save the gas tank screw on and that just pops right off the old and onto the new one. Then you have to take off tail light in order to access the tabs that you need to release from the old fuel cap, and in order to do proper install of the new rubber ring around fuel cap. I just put my tail light aside, but you can disconnect and move it out of the way. I Included a photo of inside behind the tail light and you will look for the tabs to press in with a flat head screw driver. I could only reach two tabs out of the four (two on other side) So I had to kind of pull and push until i was able to get the old cap out. That is probably the hardest part of the entire install. You take 4 out of the six screws off and remove the fuel cover from the part that is to be inserted back into opening. Once that is done your able to put the new rubber ring in the new fuel cap hole, and be sure the gas tank opening is snuggly wrapped with the rubber ring. The last part is screwing the aluminum cover back to the rest of the fuel cap. This is such an easy install to do and the instructions included give you a general idea of how you install. Over all I think Sunny D is sporting her new Fuel Tank Cap perfectly and I highly recommend getting this if your looking for a easy mod that will give your Jeep a new look!

WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!
The Jeep Unlimited Rubicon, or any wrangler for that mater does not come with a fuel door, so this is another thing Jeep forces you to purchase aftermarket. I must say I've tried a few already and this one by far is the best! No flapping or rattling. Super easy install. Super clean looking! DEF WORTH EVERY PENNY!!

Good product
Got my cover today and it is great quality and well built. Easy install that took about 10 minutes. I didn't even look at the directions so I dont know how good they were because I have installed them before. YouTube has several videos on installation if you need help

looks good, could have better hinging system but Worth the purchase
I love the look of this product. Scrap the instructions, all you need to do is take off driver brake light, depress original notches on original housing, add seal to new housing, then click other notches onto Jeep. Was not direct fit due to alignment dimple , I just drilled a little out beside it with a 1/16" drill bit so itd fit (this is to properly align the housing). Looks great, functional and sealed. I am not a fan of the fact it doesn't magnetize together when closed and doesn't have a strong hinge, and it can move up and down when open. Will review in 6 months and after offroading to see how it fairs. Thank you!
