My now 6 year old's room get a lot of light in the late afternoon/ early evening. even year I say I will get black out curtains and forget. I noticed 2 days ago how bight his room was at bedtime and he is of the if it is light then it is awake time. They are not lined but heavy material. I put them up last night and it made bedtime easier, I also noticed at wakeup he seemed like he was more sound asleep than normal. These are a great purchase at a great price. I bought navy blue. I do wish I had just purchased before instead of putting on a wish list.

I've found the fabric to be very high quality with a fabric blackout liner that blocks most light. Each panel is more than wide enough to cover one of the windows I'm putting curtains on. The rod pocket is easily large enough for the 3/4" metal curtain rods and they slide easily along them. The curtains arrived with almost no crease or fold lines showing and they hang easily from the curtain rods.

These soft and dense feeling curtains do NOT allow sunlight to pass through it’s basically a wall in curtain clothings. Very easily slideable when you need the sun in and heavy in a good way, as in puts out a good fight when its windy and the windows are open. It won’t flap around like some Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm-Flailing Tubeman. The dark brown color was a perfect match to my closets it’s a well welcomed plus in my eyes.

I replaced some more expensive curtains that I had in my bedroom with these. My other (more expensive) curtains did not do well blocking out the light. I love these curtains and bought one pair to try them out, I bought a second pair today. I bought the Cappucccino color because I wanted dark curtains, and they work perfectly to keep my bedroom dark. I like that these curtains do not have the foam backing, they are nice and soft. Not sure why other reviewers do not get the room darkening affect, maybe the lighter colored curtains don't work as well...... And I have no idea why these curtains are referred to as "Kids Blackout Curtain Panels".

I bought two sets of these in another color for my bedroom when I moved into my new home in August. I liked them enough that I recently bought two sets of these for the windows in my office, as the room was losing too much heat without curtains. I've noticed that they have helped significantly with insulation in the week since I put them up. The cream color is a bit darker than cream, more like a pale golden brown (matching how it looked on my screen, and perfect for my office). They also block a lot of light--I won't be keeping them closed in summer, but with the long winter evenings they're great--and while the fabric isn't terribly nice, they're a good deal for the price.

I purchased two sets of these curtains to use in my bedroom. I didn’t mind if they were just room darkening vs being full blackout panels. For the price I paid, I have to say that these are some of the nicest inexpensive curtains I have ever owned. The material is almost silky feeling, but they are made of a nice heavy fabric. While not being full blackout curtains, they do filter the light very well, especially if you also have mini blinds installed. The color shown in the photo is fairly accurate, depending on your screen. They are truly a beautiful shade of blue. I would definitely recommend this product, and would happily order from this company again.

The product description was accurate: color, material, room darkening. The title says room darkening and the description says black out. I was looking for room darkening and the comments confirmed that for me. I was looking for polyester because I read that type of material is good for preventing and hiding snags from my cats claws. The picture shown is from a distance and up close to the snag. You can see the cat caught his nails in it but the snag did not run and is only noticeable up close. My only complaint is it’s been about a month and the folds haven’t weighed out yet.

I have windows that face a rather busy sidewalk. After researching and purchasing and returning several brands, I found that these curtains are perfect for my needs for privacy and security. These do not have a heavy foam back, which makes the product easier to wash and dry. Great quality and variety of colors and sizes. Available in grommet or rod pocket. I ordered rod pocket, toffee brown color. I have attached a photo taken at 10:00am that shows my three windows: one panel pulled back to let in light, one curtain closed, and my old curtain panel which easily lets in light.

I wanted red curtains for the holiday season, as my usual curtains seemed too light. Wow, these really block the light! I am going to get another color for my bedroom because I like to sleep in a very dark room. I purchased these for my living room. They are of a decent weight, hang very nicely, and look very good. And they REALLY block the light - the front of my house faces east, and we get full sun for half of the day, and these really do block the sunlight. They've been keeping the cold of the windows at bay, too. Very worth the price.

These were absolutely perfect for a bedroom. They provided a great contrast for my light purple curtains and my gray wall and they fit in perfectly with adding some more depth to the windows. I love that they are so soft and silky but they don't snag and I can straighten them out or Bunch them up either way they look really good.
