Perfect light

Absolutely love this light. Great to use while I'm reading in bed and don't want to turn on the lamp while my husband is sleeping next to me. There are 3 brightness levels per side-the first level is bright enough to read with. The next 2 levels are basically flashlights which come in handy. I was worried it would be uncomfortable around my neck, but it is very comfortable. Also love that you can charge it, as opposed to using batteries. Will be purchasing another one to give to my mom.

I have difficulty seeing my stitches in the evening, especially with darker color yarns, but this light is a perfect solution!

An excellent versatile hands free product!

I had no issues with the delivery time or packaging. There was no damage to the product after opening it, and it was charged ready for use. The LuminoLite is larger than the standard book light clipped to a book. It is a little more bulky than I thought when I placed it around my neck. If there was no flexibility to the body of the LuminoLite I would be extremely disappointed, but it can easily be shaped to how I want to use it. The three settings the LuminoLite offers is fantastic. The first setting is ideal for having light up close such as reading a book, or working on projects. It does provide enough light to illuminate the surroundings. The second setting, is brighter, and the third is even more brighter with a more narrow and focused beam, like a standard flash light. Both sides of the LuminoLite has a switch on it giving you options to either use one side, or both sides. I fiddled with mine for a little bit to find the right fit for reading. I ended up adjusting similar to the picture of the woman reading in bed. I placed it around the back of my neck, curved the body up near my collarbone, and then out in the direction of my book. It is a little bulky at first but after getting settled, I did not think about it and was focused in on reading. I am sure it is a little silly looking to someone not use to seeing it but it is a great product for what it is made for. I selected the LuminoLite from other types of book lights because of the versatility it offers. In some occasions it is dark out when I am barbecuing and this would be the perfect product during those occasions, as well as other times when a flashlight is required. I also like that this is product is rechargeable. From other comments, it does not take long to charge and the charge lasts awhile. This is a flexible, solidly built product which provides versatility for wide array of uses. I am happy with this purchase and definitely recommend it.

Great Product !

This product is excellent. I was looking for a reading light to attach to my bed but none would fit. I saw this and ordered it. The light is bright and provides excellent reading quality. It is infinitely adjustable and has two settings on each side. I use both lights to read. The single flood light is good for walking around in the dark. I bet a great thing for Boy Scouts and Leaders on camping trips. I just ordered four more for presents! No batteries means its always peak - ready to use! I don’t review much its got to blow my socks off or be just horrendous. This item is spectacular for the price. Love it.

Just What I Needed For Drawing & Coloring!!

I wish I had gotten this years ago. I draw or color at least 30 minutes a day, usually at night before bed because it helps me relax. I've been struggling with the desk lamp, trying to get it to illuminate my work area better but no more! I also like the insert from the manufacturer that gives their email in case you need any support with the product. I don't see that often with Amazon purchases... And we buy an embarrassing amount of stuff on here.

The crochet light of my dreams

I do a lot of fine thread crochet work, and am currently working on a project in black. There isn't enough light in any room to see the stitches clearly enough. I have used desk lamps (no good at all, you either have to hold the work too far in front of you or you have to position the light impossibly close, and I prefer to sit in a comfy chair and work) and head lamps (still not quite right, you have to hold your head still to keep the light focused where you want it and you risk blinding anyone who speaks to you while you're working). This neck lamp is the perfect answer. I love that there are two lights so you can shine from two directions and avoid shadows cast by your fingers/hook. It's lightweight and bright enough that I can even see stitches in black. My middle-aged eyes are extremely grateful. I recommend this to any crafter who needs that extra bit of hands-free light.

Where has this been all my life!!

Bought this on a lark because I wanted to crochet while traveling in the car, only to find out that there's not enough light, and fellow passengers are not happy if you put the dome lights on. My partner suggested that I try one of those headlamps, but I can just imagine blinding everyone as I turn my head. Not only did this product solve my issue, but it's great for reading at night when you don't want to wake up the rest of the house. It's also good for: walking to the bathroom at night without turning on all the lights, putting a spotlight on a crafting project that needs more attention, impressing your friends, lighting up enclosed places like the backs of cabinets or boxes, and giving the cat something to follow when you can't find the laser pointer. This light now lives in my main crafting bag. Each light (each side) is independent and has its own control, which is a little button to press. There are 3 levels of light. One is a soft light, two is a direct beam and very bright, and three is a combination of one & two. The whole thing is crazy customizable and goose-necky, which means you don't have to have it around your neck. However, it's very comfortable around the neck and doesn't easily slide around. The device is weighted well, and a charge holds a LONG time. Doesn't take long to charge up either. Is it vital for reading / crafting? No. But it is really helpful, and it's a multi-tasker that can be used for a lot of things! I'm really happy with it!

These are one of the most useful purchases I have made in a long time! Pros: 1. Rechargable. Need I say more? 2. Light settings for all your needs. Levels of diffused light to spotlight. 3. Works for reading, homework, computer repair, surgery 4 Not uncomfortable and highly adjustable Cons: 1. Gets hot after awhile on your neck. But if it's not on your bare skin you probably won't notice it
