Pretty neat!
The camera is really cool. It has a lot of accessories that I still need to understand how to use. It is packed neatly. It has 2 batteries, but no SD card. It looks like it is easy to use it, but I can’t tell till I actually insert the card that I am about to order. It doesn’t come with instruction, you’d need to scan the QR-code and download it in the language you need.

Amazing anti-shock anti-vibration tech. 5 🌟
Update: I took the brave 4 snow wheeling with me. Video and pictures both came out superb. I received my Akaso Brave 4 yesterday, so I can't speak to longevity, but I did put it through it's paces today, and I must say I am impressed. This action camera was purchased for recording Jeep trips. Jeeps are rough and tumble vehicles with noise, vibration, and bumps aplenty. I will be taking this thing snow wheeling at the end of January, and rock crawling in Moab in May. If what I saw today proves itself there, I would recommend this camera to anyone! I fiddled around with it as soon as I had the battery charged. I took some photos: photo quality isn't great. It is definitely a good camera, but most smart phones these days will get you a better photo with better light adaptation... But that's not what this camera is really for anyway, right? It's for action video... I took some videos: The first video was inside the waterproof case, indoors, with low light and rapidly changing lighting conditions. The camera handled the changing lighting conditions superbly! Far better, actually, than my eyes did. The sound was a bit muffled through the waterproof case, and in low light, it became a little grainy, but still performed far better than I had expected. The second video was with no case at all (though not recommended): the sound quality was very satisfactory. The picture quality was just as impressive. I even had my wife film me as I walked in front of, behind, and around our living room light, and my face was never shadowed or washed out by the video. From there on, I took videos in the Jeep, the Brave 4 mounted to the dashboard with one of the included attachments, and in the protective(but not waterproof) case. It surpassed my expectations. Though I could easily see the actual camera vibrating and bouncing around on my dash, the video is smooth. The quality is awesome, the road, engine, and wind noise introduce quite the droning rumble, but the camera still picks up music, and voices well. The only complaint I have, isn't even a big issue. Fresh out of the box, and as soon as I peeled off the screen protector, the rear display screen had a little scratch that appeared to be under the lens, showing up as a scratch with a bubble around it. Also the edge of the lens looks a little peeled up. But seriously, it is hardly noticeable, and I would still be satisfied with this purchase at a rather higher price point. If it turns out to be durable, I would be happy to buy a couple more. Sadly, my cell signal isn't sufficient for uploading the video, but rest assured it was very high quality.

"GREAT GREAT" CAMERA "GREAT PRICE"
I have used a lot of dive cameras for diving and most running into the hundreds being with a fire dept. dive team. So when I found this camera with a water proof case I could not wate to try it. I use the camera mostly for my jeeping trips inside and out in all types of weather. The 4k video is sharp and clear the anti-motion is so great my jeep maybe moving from left to right up and down but you would not know it straight and level. I would recommend this camera to anyone looking for action camera and I have. You could spend hundreds but you would be wasting your money. GREAT CAMERA GREAT PRICE

Takes pretty good pictures underwater
Used the Brave 4 under water during a trip to Thailand. Took some great pictures under water. The quality is great. The app that I download to control the camera remotely didn't work too well though.

This camera is nothing short of amazing! I do not have much experience in action ...
This camera is nothing short of amazing! I do not have much experience in action cameras, but this one definitely meets my standards. I used a GoPro on vacation last year and was so confused by the settings and making sure it was running that I didn’t really focus on what I was doing (which was parasailing). At the end, we got a good video with audio, but I was slightly disappointed in the video quality, I mean, we did pay 100 dollars to use it for less than an hour! So, when I was looking for camera’s, I wanted to make sure I got something that had a live-action screen, as well as a front facing indicator that it was, in fact, running. When I found this camera for 1/3rd of the price of a GoPro with similar features, as just as amazing reviews, I could not pass it up! This camera has so many accessories that I would be crazy to ever need to buy anything else for it. Plus, it has the waterproof case so we can take it to Hawaii this year! The video quality is phenomenal and all the buttons are easy to push through the waterproof case. There are tons of features to adjust your video and picture quality, the color it films in, the ways that you can start and stop video. It is incredible. I have been playing with it for an hour and still haven’t even touched on its possibilities. Did I mention the accessories?!? It even comes with two batteries and a battery charger so you can have one extra battery at all times without having to spend an additional 50 dollars on a second battery (aka GoPro). If you are looking for name brands that you can flaunt all over social media, this is not what you want. However, if you are looking for an amazing action camera that you can take everywhere and make sure you are getting good shots? This is what you want. Stop the research, stop the price comparing, and buy this!

Nice action cam that works how I need it to.
I will preface this with that I use it for autocross. I am not willing to mount my iPhone on the outside of the car and I looked into this style of camera to see what I wanted to do. I originally thought about a GoPro, but price is one thing, but if it ever gets knocked off and run over... I will be upset, but I can live with it. I had previously bought a EK7000 on a Lightning Deal which I also use and then saw this Brave 4 on a Lightning Deal... and I could not resist. I had used it for the first time this weekend, and I use it with a RAM suction cup mount that I affix to the rear window looking forward so I can see the left front tire and the steering wheel. It worked great considering I ran it without the case and I should have played with the picture quality versus frames per second--- I used the 4k resolution which is 24 FPS if I recall correctly... it was very clear and as expected you can see the slower frame rate. So I am going to try another setting and see how it changes the overall picture quality versus smoothness. But all in all it was really clear and exceeded what I was expecting it to produce. I manually started the camera with the top button.... for whatever reason I have put the remote somewhere I can't find it...with that, it has a red dot on the screen on the back to tell it is running--- honestly it lets me set it and forget it as I know it is running. Sound. That is where I expected it to falter and it did. Wind noise was prevalent and masked a good bit of other sounds I wanted to hear. With that said, I may try the plastic case with the vented back to see how that works to cut back on wind noise. I have used a $1000 race camera before and audio was not any better... so I cannot fault the Brave 4 one bit. You also have to remember that I am running with it on the outside of the car at 20-60mph... so some wind noise is definitely expected! Startup, etc. It is fast to start up and shut down. This is good as it is a great tool to have, but, I cannot stand fussing with it to get it to work before a run---and it is a champ at starting and being ready within a few seconds. I have it setup to never shut off and to loop video. All works great. I have also figured out (as a typical guy) how to work it without using instructions and it is great to use the rear screen to step through a run to review and see where I may have made a mistake or as I found out how unbelievably close to cones I really do come to them...in a great way! Battery... so this is where I am up in the air. As I said, first weekend with it and I used it to record a total of 10-runs that are about 2-4 min long depending on when I start it and then get in the car. I had charged the batteries the day before so I was ready to go. I have to really see how long it will last as after 6-runs the battery indicated it was at 30%... I changed the battery and finished out the day. Would have it made it? I am not sure. would I like to see it last longer? Yes, but again I have to keep in mind that for what I paid versus what it does.... this is not a problem or deal breaker at all and it *does* come with the two batteries, so for me when it gets down to 1/3 battery on the display... I will just swap it out and not worry about it. I will also say that the camera was on-- display and all for close to 45-min to an hour so with that idle time added in, I am happy with it. I am very pleased and look forward to using it more this season!
