• DURABLE CONSTRUCTION. Made using solid, white plastic to provide long-term strength and durability, this strainer is sturdy and won’t fall apart like paper cone strainers. The material can easily be rinsed after use, allowing one patient to reuse the strainer over and over again.
  • OPTIMAL KIDNEY STONE COLLECTOR. For those who need to strain for stones and send sample off for analysis in the lab, this product is a must-have. A fine, mesh screen is securely attached to the collector, ideal for catching even the tiniest kidney stones.
  • SANITARY FEATURES. The midstream collector features a moisture-resistant plastisol liner that minimizes chance of leakage, along with a built-in tab for easier handling and sanitary conditions. After using, it fits conveniently into a 24-hour specimen collection container.
  • EASY TO USE. The white color makes it easy to spot any foreign material, ideal since kidney stones vary in size and can look like a grain of sand or a small piece of gravel. It serves its purpose well, catching any and all small particles so you can return to your doctor for observation.
  • CHOICE OF SIZES. For added convenience, the Calculi Strainer is available in a 1-, 3- and 5-count packages to meet your individual needs. You can transport one from place to place, or have several on hand so you can keep them in various places at once.

A little was for me a convenience. The well made quality was important, especially compared to those disposable paper ones that fall apart after two days use. However, I have a suggestion: Why not add an 8" or handle so your hand is above the commode seat rather than down inside? Haven'ts seen one like that, but bet it would sell.

I purchased this to rinse and drain frozen mysis and brine shrimp, and it works perfectly for me. I rest the strainer over a small cup, fill the small cup with ro/di water (tank water works too), and let it defrost/rinse. I also add my flake food in as well. A few minutes later, I give it a stir and lift the collection cup out of the water and let it drain, removing most of the extra "juice" that is full of phospates and nitrates. The collection cup has a fine mesh strainer that allows the juice to drain easily, but captures even the smallest brine shrimp. After a week of feeding like this twice a day, I found my nitrates and phosphates dropped nicely compared to the week before. Would buy again...but it came with 3, so that won't be for a while!

My autistic son has a kidney stone and he can pee holding this and going number one. It collects even the tiniest stones. Easy to use, easy to hold. Screen is strong and will not pull away. Also easy to wash under faucet to reuse. Great if you have kidney stones or gallstones. And you get 3 of them in the packet. Great item

This is exactly the same as the one I got from the hospital. It is little bit of a nuisance to clean but that's just because of how tiny the hole are and need to be in order to catch small particles.

I bought this for my father who needed to catch his passing of kidney stones. He loves the filter and of course the ease of clean up and no worries of missing any of his calcium treasures.

My husband had kidney stones and this is the same cup that they gave him at the Urologist to strain for stones.

Strainer for kidney stones. Fine mesh will even get the little grains.

Arrived as promised. Much needed item for those who suffer from kidney stones.

Worked great. O much better than the disposable ones they gave at the ER.

easy to use, able to see kidney stones as they pass
