Great strap! Hook won't scratch your Sax!

My son plays a saxophone and I had bought him a really nice neck strap that was cushioned and had a brass connection hook to match his brass sax, well it turns out that the brass hook constantly makes contact with his Yamaha saxophone, as hooks are going to do, and was literally scratching his saxophone. So I told him to get on Amazon and find what he needed, he ran across this one and saw that it said it had a protective sleeve over the hook so as not to scratch your instrument and he absolutely loves it, he says it's more comfortable and the hook no longer scratches his instrument so save your money especially if you have a nice expensive sax and don't go buy some fancy strap with a hook that does not have a protective sleeve over it. I would recommend this strap to any and everyone. If I had to give one con it would be that when it arrived a couple of the seams didn't have thread that went all the way to the end of the material so 2 little Corners kind of stuck-up and was a bit scratchy on his neck but with a little bit of fabric glue I laid them down and it's been soft ever since. And this was probably just an isolated incident.

The best neck strap my 11 yo nephew has ever had

Got this for my 11 year old nephew that plays the alto sax and he loves this neck strap. He has had two other neck straps that were either too hot and sweaty or uncomfortable because they were too wide... this one however, he loves because it does not get the back of his neck hot and sweaty, it is "super comfortable" because it is just the right width so that it does not pinch the back of this head or his upper back when he looks up. It is not a long strap though, so I'm not sure it would work for an adult... but it will be some time before he gets there.

I bought this for my for my 16 year old son who is now learning to play the tenor sax and he loves it. He now plays the clarinet in the school's jazz band and wanted to expand his playing ability. The neck strap is very comfortable.

Awesome strap! The hook is metal which was really important to me. The strap seems durable of made of decent material and the cushion on the back is very comfortable and has great padding. Great buy!

Great value

Simple and useful design. Good quality materials that seem durable. Strap is strong and does not stretch. The strap sleeve that goes on the back of the player's neck is well cushioned and the side that touches the skin is cotton like material so it does not promote sweating. The plastic buckle to adjust length works nicely and easily. Strong metal hook with a rubber sleeve on the part of the hook that touches the saxophone. Very good value.

This is a very high quality neck strap. It works well with my melodica. If you ate shopping for a neck strap that will last, I recommend that you buy this one.
