Using the stupid Wemo App takes up to 1 minute
Wemo switches are expensive, but work well with Alexa/Google. When you have 10+ Wemo devices, the Wemo App takes several seconds to launch, then consistently locks up for a long time. I have 3 outside lights, on 3 different switches, and with Alexa and group feature I can turn on all 3 lights simply saying outside lights on. But using the stupid Wemo App takes up to 1 minute. Thus, I bought this bridge and it kicks butt, go Apple. Its the only Apple HomeKit thing I own, but the HomeKit App rocks, and now I can turn my Wemo devices on / off in seconds. So, if the Wemo App is the bane of your existence, I'm here to tell ya the future is bright. Drop the 40 bills, and say goodbye to the Wemo App. Classic that someone else has to develop a bridge / App to make Belkin's expensive products work. One note, the instructions say plug in bridge and only mentions the Ethernet cable, but you have to plug in the USB / micro cable and charger too. The pictures don't ever show the power cable to the bridge, so it's not as aesthetically pleasing as pictured.

Works as advertised; quick setup
Noting that some of the less positive reviews were left earlier, right after this product launched, I'll say that in mid-May 2018 setup of my device was flawless. It took less than two minutes. My WeMo Mini Switch now switches on and off instantly with HomeKit, as advertised.

Easy to used and install. Money saver for IoT
I research a lot before i decide with which smart switches i go with, so i decide to use Wemo because are very reliable and way cheaper than other brands. Like any Prime Member fast delivery. Something that i can mention is since i install and connected to my 8 Wemo Light Switch around my house only 1 disconnect from my network, not sure if was my network or the device. Also i give 3 instead 5 stars because their Tech Support, there ok but some of the tech do not listen and they just read a bad broken script. I do like this Wemo hub and Wemo products because there work fantastic and simple and cheaper.

Give your WeMo some love, add Siri!
Added the ability of Siri to HomeKit for my WeMo devices. We don’t have a standing hot water tank as we use an instant Hot Water Heater which isn’t so instant way back in the bathroom, so I added a WeMo switch to the circulator and now I just say “hey Siri, turn on the hot water”. Two minutes later there is hot water in all of the pipes. No more running wasted water down the drain waiting for it to get hot.

What a great little gadget!
I have a mixed collection of wemo devices that i am using for over five years. They are not very reliable but at keast non failed so far. With this little gadget now i can use siri and homekit and continue to use them without the need of replacement. And homekit is much more reliable than wemo app!

Works perfectly with HomeKit and older WeMo Switch Smat Plug
We have an older WeMo Switch Smart Plug that we use in the garage to turn on/off a pair of overhead LED lights that we installed. The older plug is not HomeKit compatible, and we had to use the WeMo app to control it. We purchased this hub so we can control the lights through HomeKit for convenience and Siri control. The hub installed as simply as WeMo claims, and we haven’t had any problems at all. It detected the switch right away and HomeKit detected the hub right away. We are very pleased with this purchase!

Breath of Fresh Air
Our WEMO switches are much more responsive with WEMO Bridge than they ever were with their native app or Alexa. We have two light switches in the kitchen and past attempts to get them to both turn on with just one switch we’re frustrating. It could take several minutes for the second switch to recognize the first had been turned on. But it’s almost instantaneous when programming this with Apple HomeKit. Using Siri is also much more responsive than Alexa. I have had to restart the bridge once, but that was right after I had used the WEMO app, so we’ll see if this will continue to be a problem. So far having the WEMO Bridge has been a breath of fresh air.

Works Great with Apple HomePod and Home app
Recently purchased an Apple HomePod after owning Echos. This was a must. Everything in my house is apple, so this was a no brainer. It works so much better than the WeMo app itself which I struggled to get to work often. It seems it was always delayed, but with Apple Home App it works great on iPhone and HomePod.

Pretty much effortless
I just have some Switches and Light Switches and the Wemo Bridge installed easily into HomeKit and got my Wemo devices into the Home app. My only gripe really has nothing to do with the Wemo Bridge at all, and more to do with HomeKit, which is I prefer to have IoT devices on a guest network instead of my main wifi network. I don't think there's a way to do that for devices that will show up in HomeKit, which sucks considering the terrible security of almost all IoT devices. Other than that, I recommend the Wemo Bridge for HomeKit users with Wemo devices.

The Bridge works well
I used this product to enable me to use the home feature of connecting to my lights. It was easy to install, and it works well doing what it is supposed to do. However, I do not have cable and am using only an Antenna for my TV reception. This Wemo bridge had to be connected to my WiFi box, and I now seem to be getting more interference in TV reception then I did before connecting the Wemo bridge. Don’t know for sure that this the cause, but just something you may want to think about.
