Better than expected

Very impressed. Extremely light compared to the 25lb fluorescent fixtures, easy to wire in, and much brighter. We'll see how long the last, but for the price, it's almost equivalent to buying bulbs alone.

Fantastic value, great performance.

I wanted to replace the old fluorescent lighting in my wood shop. Found these and loved the price, especially after buying two shaded lights at WalMart for $50, I like the 240 degree light spread as opposed to the shaded style. Installation was simple, worth the effort. One thing I noticed was that the supplied hooks did not want to go in place through the hole. Two vice grips and a more rounded bend in the hook's end made all the difference. One downside - I do not like the glued-in-place switches on the cord. Bottom line, I would buy them again with no hesitation.

great lights

These are fantastic lights. Plug right into an outlet. I have 3 set up in my garage using carefully routed extension cords. I could practically perform surgery in there now. I work on motorcycles and needed really bright lights to turn my once dimly lit garage into my workshop and these did the trick without my needing to hard wire them. I could hard wire them, I just prefer no to and also like that I can move them if one day I decide to.

Great deal if they last as long as promised

Bought a four pack and liked them so much that I bought another four pack. Used the first to replace lights in a relatives garage and they where brighter than I expected and much better than the two 40 watt fluorescent fixture it replaced.. Put another in a basement storage area and can see well in there for the first time. The rest are slated to go into my barn and garage replacing older fixtures. The only negative that I have for the price I paid (about 14 dollars per light) is that I wish these had the traditonal pull chain/string that hung down to turn them off or on. Instead they use a toggle switch in the power cord that required me to plug them into switchable extension cords. Otherwise, there was no way to reach them on my 12 foot high barn mounts or even in the storage area in the basement that has nine foot ceiling.

It made my garage look like an operating room.

Very bright. My motorcycle space in the garage where I'm often wrenching on the bikes is lit up like an operating room. Quick to turn on, no heat, and a very white light. They do feel flimsy, but are also lightweight because of this. I think they'll hold up fine, and I'll likely purchase more for the other bays in the garage.

Great experience with these, very easy to install. It is night time in the picture and the only light in the garage is coming from the 4 lights shown... so yeah they’re pretty bright.

Perfect LED brightness!

The perfect LED light for the basement! I replaced the old 40 watt fluorescent fixtures that I had for years-what a difference! The brightness is just right. They are extremely lightweight and super easy to install. Also will save money over the years compared to the cost of (2) replacement fluorescent blubs at $10.

Very bright! No warm up time, flicker, or noise

These are awesome! I had 3 florescent lights before that flickered or didnt turn on and took time to warm up when turning them on. These are instant, never flicker or make sound and are BRIGHT. The 3 I had before I could have used a 4th but when I hooked these up I only need 2 and it lights up the garage way better then the others were so I just turned the 3rd off unless I need more light under the hood. The only down side to these is that the cord is not very long.. maybe 4 feet or so, and they are just the Male plug, I thought I read a review that you can link them together but that probably ment link the lights back to back, i had to splice and extent the cords and then just wired them all up to 1 plug and they work and look great! For $60 it was totally worth being able to see when your working on your vehicle in the garage or outdoor area.

Excellent lights

Very impressed. Lightweight, easy install. My workshop is like night and day...all pun intended. Going to order 4 more and ditch my fluorescent light

Minimalist but Very Bright. Appear Fragile in Pictures but Seem Durable Enough.

These are two tubes with connectors at each end. But they don't feel particularly fragile. The light is strong and the color is good for a workshop. I bought four for a room about 12x14. These, plus one light I had already, make the space very bright. I can see clearly even close up and am very happy with the quality and spread of the light. Each tube has a small white line at the top to keep the light from being wasted on the ceiling. Could be larger to project more light downward, but the light on the walls makes the room feel well lit. No complaints. Very pleased.
