Many concepts come together to make an exceptional blaster!
As a long-time fan of flywheel blasters, clear plastic to view internals AND compact design, the Nerf Modulus Ghost Ops Evader (too many proprietary adjectives there, Hasbro) is an instant hit on many fronts. Right out of the box, this is an impressive blaster that's a bit larger than it appears in pictures, but isn't oversized to the point of silliness. Beyond the Evader itself, this set also includes a cosmetic barrel attachment and a straight 12-round clip. It's worth noting that batteries are included with this product (demo only, but it's a nice gesture). Ergonomics and design on the Evader are at top notch levels. The Evader sits comfortably in the hands thanks to its compact foregrip (which also houses the light-up switch) and nicely rounded trigger well. The rev-switch for the flywheel is large and easy to work, and the trigger is smooth and comfortable. Perhaps best of all, the side-loaded magazine well is very close to the hands, making it easy to reload (unless you're left-handed, but even then it's not too bad). On looks alone, the Evader also gains praise for being both functional and flashy. The clear plastic allows you to see all the inner workings of the blaster, and the light-up function is both very bright and cool to see, especially from a short distance away. The only issue I'd take with this blaster's light-up function is that the blaster does not include glow-in-the-dark darts, as this seems like an obvious inclusion for a blaster like this, but honestly that's a small problem (and one that is easy to correct, if desired). Performance-wise, the Evader sits on par with the majority of small flywheel powered and semi-automatic blasters, such as the Elite Stryfe (https://www.amazon.com/Nerf-N-Strike-Elite-Stryfe-Blaster/dp/B009T45XNM/ref=sr_1_5?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1535466467&sr=1-5&keywords=nerf+stryfe&dpID=5194zMQELQL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch) or Doomlands Impact Zone Desolator (https://www.amazon.com/Nerf-Doomlands-Impact-Desolator-Exclusive/dp/B01IK534JK/ref=sr_1_6?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1535466467&sr=1-6&keywords=nerf+stryfe&dpID=412DU39hyWL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch). It's a bit larger than its cousins, but not ridiculously so, and while the price point sits a bit higher the clear design and light-up function help to address this cost somewhat. While it's nothing amazingly new, the Nerf Modulus Ghost Ops Evader is a fantastic addition to the Modulus lineup and a great start to the Ghost Ops product line!

It's perfect. No issues
Christmas gift for 6 year old who loved it. This is a semi automatic gun. So don't expect to be able to control how rapidly the darts exit. Took a bit to figure out how to work it. Came with batteries

Attractive comfortable Smooth function blaster
The nerf modulus ghost ops evader is a very nice blaster. Very attractive clear shell with the green lights running through make it look fantastic! Super smooth trigger and very comfortable handles make it feel nice to operate. The flywheels are pretty quite and the performance is what you would expect out of a nerf flywheel blaster. I was very pleased with my purchase.

This was a toy for a family that lost their job right at the worst time ever, days before x-mas. How horrible! They enjoyed it and I am very happy they did. remember to help even if its a little something, also pay it forward!

Troubleshooting a gun that is not firing
I bought this for my son and we all love is gun, it’s so unique. Although I almost threw it out today because I couldn’t get it to work. I thought the motor had gone bad. It turns out it was #1 below. I found this advice in a comment below and wanted to repost. Check all 3 of these, they must be engaged before the gun will work. There are 3 switches that need To be engaged in order for the flywheel to spin; 1. The jam door must be closed and the switch will be up(black button by the back of the door) 2. The switch that is next to that door, that is engaged when you insert the cartridge correctly. Look into the compartment where the cartridge slips in, you will see the plunger that moves the dart forward, and right next to that is a little orange lever that gets pushed back when the cartridge is inserted. 3. The button underneath the trigger needs to be pushed in, which engages the third switch.

***REVIEW UPDATE*** Please read so u don't make same mistake as me....
Gun lights up, but motor is not working. Will not fire bullets. :( Birthday present for my son. Big bummer.... ^^^^^^DISREGARD MY REVIEW ABOVE ^^^^^^^^^^^ As it was a b-day present for my son I did not want to tear it all out of the box before giving it to him. Therefore, I tried testing it out without putting all the pieces on the gun. In order to activate the flywheel mechanism, you have to snap ALL pieces onto the gun. The barrel, and rectangular piece that the ammo clip goes into, MUST be attached, to make the flywheel spin and shoot darts. I'm pretty sure I sent back a perfectly working gun (Sorry Seller) due to not putting everything together, and just assuimg that the gun was defective. Went to Target, bought another gun, and had the same issue with it not working. Sweet kid at Target showed me the error of my ways. We snapped the pieces in place and it works perfectly.

Be Sure to Insert Loaded Clip into Blaster before Firing
For folks who are thinking the motors are dead, be sure to insert a loaded clip into the blaster. The flywheels will rev only with a loaded clip inserted. I think this blaster is great. The motors are quiet. It is almost silent when firing. The green lights are cool. Really good ergonomics. And the transparent shell is fun!

Best nerf gun
This nerf gun is truly awesome. My grandson was so excited to get this. In the dark when this gun lights up is great. The lights on this nerf gun are bright And when you shoot at the targets it is spot on.

Kid loves it
I bought this as a gift for my son and he absolutely loves it. He seen the tv advertisements online and was begging for this. Item is exactly as described and experienced no issues.
