I was an idiot and left my snow blower with gas in the carb for a year and a half. Bad move. I have a Cub Cadet #31A-2M1E752, and this went on just fine. After installing the new carb, the snowblower started up in two pulls.

Snow Blower (Yard Machine 31A-2M1A700) had old gas in it, and wouldn't start. Removed old carburetor, installed this one. Started right away, and in 20 seconds or so (I had to adjust the choke) it was running perfect. I also used the new primer bulb that came with the carburetor (my old bulb was getting soft). Getting to where I could replace the carburetor was a bit of work -- had never worked on a snow blower before or a PowerMore Winterized engine with weird (to me) shields to keep snow off the engine -- but the carburetor replacement itself was a breeze.

I did not COMPLETELY drain the fuel from my snowblower last year before putting it away for the season. Therefore, it would not start this year. After getting no help from local repairmen (too busy to get to it). I tried starting fluid and then removed the carb and used carb cleaner to no avail. Then for slightly more than the cost of those I just replaced the whole carb. It was running in minutes after the package arrived. I am very pleased with the product.

This product (Troybilt snowblower carburetor) was exactly as described on the merchant's website and arrived in a timely manner. Installed the unit and it ran great, absolutely met my expectations. The greatest thing about this whole purchase was that not only was the part available when everywhere else was out of stock and would take too long to order it, the price was phenomenal. I will be sure to buy again from this merchant and will highly recommend them to family and friends.

Received item was exactly as shown. It was an exact replacement for my MTD single stage snow thrower. It was the same manufacturer as the original OEM carburetor, not just a "will fit". I am extremely satisfied. The engine started right up and ran smooth as new without any adjustment.

My husband likes it and says it’s a good deal and does the job!

Came with everything needed. Worked correctly as soon as I put it on. The only suggestion I have is there should be instructions on install. May be helpful to some do it your self people. Pretty simple but never hurts to include instructions. Also, if carb is adjustable, should tell how to adjust.

My 123cc snowblower was surging with the choke off. It only ran with the choke half on, so I wasn't getting full power and it was stalling at the end of the driveway where you get the taller snow from the plows. Cleaning the carb and ordering new gaskets seemed like more trouble than I wanted to put forth. Then I saw you can get the whole carb, primer bulb and hose, and gasket set for such a low price. It took 10 minutes to put on. I think now that I've done it once I could do it in 5. Snowblower runs GREAT now. All this ethanol in the gas supply wreaks havoc on small engines even if you treat the fuel with a stabilizer. For under 20.00, you could put a new carb on every 2-3 years, change the rubber paddles every 5 years, and maybe get 10-15 years out of a budget snowblower.

I don’t know how they sell them this cheap. When the carburetor was installed it started on the first pull.

I have a MTD snowblower model #31A-2M1E706. It's a 21" 123cc. Manufactured in 2012. It sat for 2 years and would not start. I checked and there was spark. I put a tiny bit of fuel in the spark plugs hole, replaced plug and pulled rope. It ran for a second. That let me know fuel wasn't getting to engine. This carburetor costs LESS than the rebuild kit! I put in the new carb which was easy and the snowblower started on the second pull. I recommend this part.
