Don't know why I didn't purchase sooner

Love this Salad Chopper. I was able to make 3 salads in less than 5 mins. and they turned out to be the quality of the ones your spend $7-$10 on at local eateries. The only downside was that I used a rubber maid bowl and it cut into it. Guess my next search is for the perfect bowl to compliment my perfect salad chopper.

Makes short work of salad prep !!

Great and easy to use for salad prep- I just throw all the greens of various kinds in a big stainless steel bowl and start chopping as I turn the bowl. ( I do break them up a bit though, before I start chopping )The more you chop the smaller the pieces. I found the veggies get pushed up into the handle so I use a small spatula to push them out. Not a big deal. It’s a very fast way to chop a bowl of salad.

My homemade salads will never be the same lol. I’ve visited a few restaurants that offered a “chopped” salad. It dawned on me recently to purchase my own chopper and I’m so glad I did. The Nish salad chopper is exactly what I wanted. I paired it with an oversized steel mixing bowl that I have. I just toss all my ingredients in together and go to town. The blades are sharp and the chopper is easy to handle. I usually add a “twisting” motion while I chop and before I know it I have the perfect salad mix. Clean up is easy but be cautious because the blades are sharp!! Happy salad making!!!

Easy and fast!

Get yourself a bowl that has higher sides -- a flatter bottomed bowl won't work as well. I love this cutter and it's worked perfect! I had no issues with putting the cover on it -- just give it a little squeeze and the cover goes on easily. Worth the money!

Great product.

Used it today for the first time. It did a great job of chopping our salad. Way better than I expected. I thought the handle might be a bit big but it worked just fine. The only con I've found so far is putt the blade protector on. It' kind of a bulky process and those blades are major sharp. I wonder if you've have a suggestion for what bowl to use. We have a large plastic one but it isn't hard enough, or the blade is to sharp. Great product. I'd recommend it.

Great customer relations

Haven't figured out yet how to do exactly what I want it to do but I'm having fun trying! I would love it if you could also come up with one whose blades are straight across rather than curved & perhaps a smidge longer. Any suggestions or literature on how best to use it would be very welcome. I loved the speed with which you got it to me, the price was reasonable, and your follow-up unexpected & wonderful. I hope more follow your example. Thank you. Oh, and I love the protective cover as well (brilliant)!

I debated whether to rate this a 4 or 5. My first "upgraded version" salad chopper was a dud. Would not chop/cut peppers, onions or romaine lettuce. I emailed amazon and received a prompt response from the NISH company. They apologized and sent me another one. This time the product worked--blades very sharp. This is a small, family owned company and obviously care that their customers are satisfied. In the end, I excused the defective chopper and gave the product and the company 5 stars.

Great Chopper

My salad chopper was delivered fast I’ve been wanting one of these for the longest I love chopped salads and with summer right around the corner I thought I would purchase one this chopper is high quality I wasn’t expecting such a high end product for the price it’s very durable and the blades are sharp I do recommend using a large steel bowl with chopping your salads because of the sharpness of the blades you don’t wanna have any tiny plastic pieces in your salad I’m purchasing another one for my sister

Def worth the money! Time saver!

Im not sure why I havent purchased this product years ago! I eat salads every day, and most the time I have to prepare a total of 4 for my family at dinner. Since ive been using this, it saves me so much time! I don't have to sit there cutting up cheese, Tomatoes, salami, etc. I now just throw everything including the lettuce and spinach, in a big bowl and cut it all up this way. I usually am not too thrilled when I think about having to prepare salads, but now, its a breeze! The blades are nice and sharp, and I like that it comes with a blade cover.
