I bought this for a kindergarten presentation for my 5 year old. He absolutely loves it. I can't get him to put it down. He is so excited about taking it to school for his project. The jacket fits perfectly and the rest of the pieces all work great. I am very happy with my purchase.

Exactly as pictured. Little man loves it, and I love the fact that it's washable. Pro Tip: hide the whistle before they even see it ;) UPDATE: This costume was PERFECT for trick or treating! The reflective material on the jacket made him easily visible, and combined with light-up boots we knew exactly where he was at all times. He was so proud to show off his fireman costume and had a great time. He got lots of attention from the fire fighters at our local trunk-or-treat as well! Stitching is high quality and I can see this lasting through several Halloweens and dress-up sessions. I also like that he can wear "normal" clothes underneath so it's easy to dress for the weather. Well worth the money!

Son loves it

My 3YO loves this costumer, nowhere near Halloween yet and he won't take it off. - Pros. Lightweight coat (we're in Hawaii) so it breathes well, and is washable. Also the coat is very reflective (perfect for Halloween night). Helmet has a cool visor. The axe apparently (per my 3YO) works on everything in the house, including walls, cabinet doors, windows, etc (thankfully it's plastic!!). - Cons. The helmet clear plastic visor is a little cheap and the visor pops off a lot (plastic bolts pop out), and the water bottle leaked after a few dozen pumps, however: Born Toys said they're revising the helmet, and since they gave me a full refund (without having to return mind you) I will buy the new model once it's available, and I can patch the fire bottle myself. Their customer service and accepting feedback to make their products better is absolutely unbelievable. So 4 stars for the product, and 6 for their service = 5 star average. p.s. I added black cargo pants and snow boots (black with yellow stripe) to this costume to complete the look, and my little dude looks crazy cute!

Worth the money!

My son is obsessed with all things fire fighters and fire trucks. This costume was a HUGE hit! My son loved it! We visited our local fire station the next day and nothing beats the memories we made. Product was durable and fun! The fire extinguisher was a lot more high powered than I would have guessed. Super fun for dress up or Halloween!

Wow! This is such an incredible product!! my three year old son has had multiple fireman costumes in the past from Melissa and Doug and other such companies. this product is beyond superior in every way! From the details on the jacket, the helmet visor that really lifts up and down, the fire hydrant that actually shoots out real water.... my son was ecstatic! We will definitely be ordering this product many times over again for friends and family as gifts

Fun Costume For Your Future Firefigther

Got this costume for our 3 year old son. The jacket is large on him but that's ok. He will get many years of use out of it. The hat is adjustable so it fits him just fine. He hits pretty hard with the axe so it took little time for the plastic axe to become dented or cracked but he doesn't care. Haven't shown him that the fire extinguisher can really hold water so I don't know how that works. Overall, happy with the costume for the price.

A big hit with my 3 year old great grand son!

I bought this set for my 3 year old great grand son's birthday and it's been reliably reported to me that it was a big hit with him and he loves it. So far 'I've only gotten phone reports and a couple of photos, but from what I've heard he not only wears the jacket and helmet all the time, but is putting out fires all around the neighborhood.:>). As for the fit and quality of the set, I'm told the jacket, helmet, etc. all fit fine and are of good quality. So, I guess based on all of this I can recommend this set.

Fire Chief Costume

I have to say we are very pleased with this Fire Chief Costume with accessories. The measurement was perfect and our 7 year old is all excited. The Fire Extinguisher (water squirter) worked really well. Overall this product is exactly what it was advertised to be. Thank you.

A hit with my 4yo!!

Before I ordered this set, I was planning on purchasing a far more expensive set out of a prominent catalog. Just the pants and jacket were going to cost me nearly $75!! I waited too long to order the other and returned to Amazon... After my son saw this costume set, he HAD to have it. And I obliged since it was SO much cheaper, and I was just over. it. Anyway! The set came and was perfect!!! The fire extinguisher actually works!!! Like... It’s a really strong spray! In fact, my older kids are fighting over it. The jacket is cute & says “Fire Chief” on the back, and the helmet is hard plastic with a clear shield - great quality! All of the accessories were a big hit! The clear backpack is perfect for storing all of them!! So pleased with my purchase! Will pair this costume with black pants or sweatpants and there you go!

Great value

I was very impressed by this fireman costume. My son is only 2 and a half and I bought it for a Halloween costume knowing it might be a little big for him but I wanted him to also be able to use it again later for play. I researched a lot of Fireman sets for kids and I think this one is the nicest. It comes in a backpack where I can store it with his toys now, and it has so many accessories all of which my son loves. Also, the fire extinguishers can squirt water and we were impressed by how well made it was. The other objects too are sturdy and well made. Overall it is a great fireman set which I highly recommend.
