Was hesitant to buy because of the price, but it is a very well made, well engineered item. Has helped me get back on the bike after having kids, and allows us some great bonding time. The kid loves it and asks for rides on the 'big bike' all the time now.

Love this seat for older toddlers

Our nearly 5 year old can ride a bike with training wheels, but was not quite ready to ride his own bike at the beach where we bike for several miles each morning. He had no trouble quickly adapting from his Thule Yepp seat he’s used since the age of 1, and as a bonus, my husband got many oooohs and ahhhs from admiring passer-bys due to the insane level of adorable-ness.

Shred the trails together!

I highly recommend Mac Ride if you are looking to ride with your little one, but have a “real” mountain bike (full suspension, short stem, dropper post, etc) that cannot accommodate other child/baby bike seats due to compatabilty issues. Mac Ride is well designed, offers a sleek look, and provides a stable platform for your little one so that you can shred the trails together!

If you own a bike and have a child just buy this!

First things off, I don't write reviews. I recently purchased a mountain bike to get back into biking. After I bought it, I used it 2-3 times within a month. I just didn't feel motivated. I love spending time with the family so taking time to bike alone or with friends means I get to leave my daughter behind while I go have fun, and I just felt guilty. I thought to myself, what if there was a way to bring my daughter with me. I did a quick online search and found a few options, but the Mac Ride stood out. After a few days I went ahead and ordered this, and waited impatiently until it arrived. I was expecting it on a Saturday but arrived on Friday, at around 7pm I started installing this, by 7:10pm I was done. We took it out for a 4 mile test drive right away. My daughter loved it from the moment she sat on it. On our first ride she just kept on telling me how much she loved riding bike with me, and how she wanted to do this EVERYDAY. This past week I've used my bike more than what I did in an entire month. There are no words to describe the feeling of joy that you get from spending quality time with your children. Knowing that they are truly enjoying the moment as much as you are. This is not just a product, it's an instrument that allows you to bond with your kids. P.S My daughter is 5 years old and is the tallest of her class, my bike has a medium frame and we still ride comfortably. Highly recommended!!

I am so glad I found this seat. It is very well constructed, easy to install, fits perfectly on my 2004 Specialized Enduro (full-suspension bike), and my two-year-old absolutely loves riding on it with me. The way the seat is positioned, he is very engaged in the action and loves doing real mountain biking with me ( within reason of course). He is able to hang onto the bike’s handlebars, practice changing gears, and use the brakes. I would highly recommend this seat to anyone, especially those who want their child engaged in the bike ride, instead of just along for the ride. Five stars all the way for this seat. If I could make one minor recommendation for improvement, it might be to have a quick release for the Actual seat part itself, because when I am riding alone, I sometimes hit it with my thighs. It would be nice to quickly take the seat part off and on for riding alone or with my son. Again though, five stars all the way.

This thing is GREAT! my 3.5y/o LOVES it... we went out for our 1st ride, and I expected him to be at least a little afraid. He was not, had a smooth section of buffed singletrack, and all i heard from him was "Faster! Faster!" (me peddling in 30t-10t with a good cadence, we got up to about 24mph :-D) Only thing i would ask for is a carbon option to cut down a little weight, this thing is VERY well built. and worth every penny, having my son with me actually made this one of the most fun rides ever (4mi), and I ride 30-45mi a week. I have a full suspension rig, and I don't think my son would have liked it as much, if we were on a hardtail (our trails can get pretty rocky in Vegas). next ride we'll start practicing standing and keeping our knees bent for the rocks,

The best thought my daughter would be afraid on 1st try but she felt so comfortable and enjoyed every minute of our ride. Installed on my full suspension bike even with dropper seat post.

The best child's bike seat for kids up to 65 lbs

THE best purchase without seeing it in person! Just installed it on my bike and both my kids love it (2 and 4 yrs old). The fit and finish is exceptional! The customer service was amazing as well (I needed to speak to them about shipping times).
