I'm writing this because I seen there was a lot of reviews saying there was a ton of fitment issues. If you have craftsman sockets and you're having a lot of fitment issues you might have gotten one that's defective (all trays probably have some type of percent error, some more and other less). All of my craftsman sockets fit perfectly besides 2. The 7mm peg 1/4's was a little too wide. I sanded the peg with some sand paper until it cleared. The other peg I had an issue with was the ¼, 3/8's. I probably won't use it much, so I swapped the 6mm and ¼, 3/8's sockets. Wasn't a big deal for me since those sockets are the smallest Metric and SAE, and would be easy to locate if I needed them. To have the socket sit completely flush to the bottom the sockets have to be upside down. I didn't bother me, so I kept them upright, and they still look great as you can judge by the pictures. I had 0 spacing issues. If you want a cheaper alternative HF trays work great, and no issues. These look 10x better in my opinion and cheaper then the other green/black sets online. I hope this helps.

1st off, these came very well packaged - each pair were nested Into each other and each one was bagged and all were boxed in a sturdy cardboard box. These match the US General green boxes very well (see pics). I used these with various Sunex impact sockets in a dedicated automotive repair cart I keep and they work great for the most part. Not the fault of this item but more the Sunex sockets that some of the sockets have a square passthrough and others have a round passthrough. As seen in the photos, 4 sockets do not seat on the pegs...all are round passthrough cut. I’m pleased! Could have bought red and black for a little cheaper from another brand but it was more aesthetics for me with this purchase.

Upside down sockets, lots of bad reviews because people are putting the sockets upside down. the cheaper version of these from harbor freight have the drive side placed down. but this style the socket side goes down, drive side is up. Also i noticed on some of my cheaper sockets the hole that goes all the way through the socket was not milled properly which made the sockets not sit flush, i simply placed the socket in a vise and drilled out the hole in the center of the socket to the appropriate size and they all sit flush and well. hope this helps.

I was tired of the jumble of sockets in the tool box at our volunteer fire station. I had tried some spring clip socket "sticks" but they did not work - sockets either falling off or could not be pulled off. I ordered a set of these and I'm very pleased. In fact, we have so many sockets (both 6 point and 12 point) that I ordered another set. We have all Craftsman sockets and I only had one fitment problem, the smallest 3/8 drive socket has a very small hole through the socket and fits too snugly on the post. (I was worried about the reports of fitment issues but I decided to try these and they are fine for me.) I would have preferred to have a single row choice since I'll end up with some deep socket rows empty. (There be that choice and I just didn't look hard enough.)

Just as shown. Very Satisfied. I purchased these to use the two colors provided to sort my 12 point impact sockets from my 6 point impact sockets that are in a black and a red socket trays. Biggest flaw is on the 3/8 drive IMPACT socket set the 1" and 15/16" sockets will not fit side by side. This is even with OEM Sockets. I haven't tried chrome sockets in them.

I ordered these without reading or really paying attention to the pictures but those 1/2 rails aren't the same length. Kinda bother some but besides that they look freakin great and have yet to break or anything. Update, Ive had these for a couple months now and the only complaint is that a little bit ago I was using brake clean on one of my tools to clean them up and accidentally oversprayed a little on the rails and it discolored them pretty badly. But then again these are made to hold tools. Tools are made to be use... if you use them enough they are bound to get dirty or a bit messed up. For the idiots who say they dont fit on the rails, for god sakes you idiots are supposed to put the sockets upside down as in the hex part, or the part that goes on the bolt downwards. They show them on the picture, I've tested every socket I have, gearwrench, duralast, matco, snap on, tekton, oem tools, sunex, craftsman(new & old) and they all fit... upside down. Yes I will agree with some people that the pegs are too thick for some of the 1/4 sockets. But being we have sockets and we want socket holders also usually implies we have drills.... just drill out the socket a tiny bit and problem solved. For the price and the fact that I haven't broke any peg even after dropping my impact guns on the pegs, I would recommend them.

These are great socket organizers. They are bigger than I expected and take up the entire top of my tool cart but they cleaned up my tools a lot! The markings on the top are clear and legible but small print. These are made of plastic. I can’t speak to their longevity but I’m concerned for their fragility after a couple summers of heat cycling in the garage. Overall I’m happy and I’ll be buying another set next year for my other tool box if these hold up. As of right now, I would recommend these to anyone

I'm super OCD and for the past 5 years all my sockets were tossed in a box I had to dig through to find the right socket I needed. It was FRUSTRATING!! I used to have a craftsman set like these but over the years and several moves they had broken quite a few times. I don't dread having to fix the car any more, I just pull out my socket organizer and get to work. Wish I would've bought these so much sooner!

one and only concern is with sockets that have various inner dimensions some sets may not fit properly. I have harbor freight sockets and the 1/4 set cut holes into the sockets instead of maintaining the bigger diameter hollow hole. I had to snap off some of the indicator top bits to fit the sockets. My deep impact sockets fit with no problems.

Good quality. Nothing broken upon arrival. Just so it's said, it's going to be hit and miss when you put your sockets on. Your going to have sizes bigger and smaller than this has. Which is understandable. Unless you buy the sockets for the socket bar. So many sizes and variations of sockets. Really you need two of these 6 piece sets for an average set of tools.
