Update: so I been in an area where there was so2 levels and even with the ac one and windows up in my car as I passed through a sulfur zone, the gassed were in my car. I had the device on for a while and it could read the so2 levels in my car. After passing the areas and the smell went away in my car the air levels were good. I’d say this device is great Seems accurate. Just can’t change the function from Celsius to farenheit. It’s pretty light. Very good, just pricy :( I am measuring the air quality where I go for my kids because we live in Hawaii where there is so2. I have yet to test it where there is so2 in the air. But so far it can detect good air. Also the humidity at my dads house is way less and at my sisters house it’s a lot more, which is expected so I would say it is accurate.

Lots of features

I like this air testers because it displays a lot of different readings and it pretty simple. This is really a handy little device. It can be hard to switch it to English though from Chinese. I wish it would have come in English from the get go. It clearly shows whether the air conditions are good or not.

I had to purchase this to prove my friend

I bought this one to prove to my friend that mold is not good for you. living nasty can cause sickness. His bathroom reading for Formaldehyde high. Offcource you will have to calibrate with the fresh air outside. I believe it just compares indoor and outdoor air, but still, satisfied my need. Thank you

Decent Air Quality Measurement Device - but with caveats.

I like this air tester, I don't love it. With that being said, for the pricepoint I don't think you can beat it. It's quirky for sure so if you're the type of person that just wants things straight forward, it may not be for you. But I doubt you're going to get one less expensive that does as much. First of all, there are areas that are in Chinese language. (I think it's chinese!) I haven't found a way to change that. You probably can't. But I figured out what buttons I needed to push to get the real-time and standard measurements working. The device once you understand it is not complicated at all. It takes no time to see the humidity, temperature (it's in Celsius and again no idea how to change it) and most important - the amount of particulates in the air. The main driver for me buying this was I was concerned about the quality of air in my basement. Yes, in fact there's worst quality air down there than compared to my main floors - but I had to google what is "good air quality" to see where I was at. So even though the amount of particles is higher, it's still within good air quality standards. I'm glad this device gave me the raw data that I needed in order to determine that!!! Again, it's a good device - I like it - I wish there was more instructions but for the money, I wasn't ready to spend any more than $70 on this project. It did the job nicely!
