I didn't think I could like anything better than my Instant Pot but I was wrong! We wanted a 2nd pot for making double batches because we love using ours so much and have a big family so leftovers are rare in our house. We liked the features and price point of the Multipot so we took a chance and I'm SO glad we did!! The Multipot has all the same great features of the competitor but so much more than that. I did a side by side comparison of the same recipe (beef barley soup) with both pots tonight and the multipot was easier to use, I could see at any time where we were at in the cooking process and the multipot made the meat much more tender in the exact same amount of cooking time. The recipe turned out much better in the Multipot overall. Plus it comes with all kinds of great accessories and if you download their Mealthy app you get access to more free recipes! Just buy it, you'll save money and be so much happier!

I suffer from a rare painful disease. It is extremely hard to stand for long periods. I absolutely love cooking and baking, yet I haven’t been able to enjoy it for the past couple of years. By the time I am done prepping, I am am barley able to cook the meal and by the time I need to clean up, I am crying from exhaustion and pain. Not anymore since I started using the Mutli-Pot. The longest it has taken me to make a meal from prep to clean up is about 30-45 minuets with a break while I wait for my meal to cook. I have fallen in love with cooking again and I look forward to making a meal every night. I absolutely love that I can roast a whole chicken for 15 minuets and that the chicken is moist and Uber delicious... I can’t eat raw fruits or veggies, due to my disease, and now I have fresh stemmed veggies in under 4 minuets any time I want!! It has now become my favorite thing to make for lunch.

My beloved wife passed away 2 years ago from pancreatic cancer. I miss her immensely and also miss her delicious cooking. While I have cooked for myself on and off during my 74 years of life, my wife was a genius in the kitchen.. She could cook anything and turn it into a feast. After her passing, as I tried to again familiarize myself with MY WIFE'S KITCHEN, I realized she had about one of every type of food preparation utensil known to woman or man, and she knew how to use them all efficiently and effectively. As for me... I was totally lost as to what to use when, or how. I soon realized that I only needed a few simple kitchen appliances and utensils to start cooking for myself.. I started my search to find the most versatile, quick and simple cooking appliance that I could find. Something that I could easily learn to use and that could replace much of the stuff in the kitchen that I had no idea how to use. In early May 2018, after weeks of research and reading hundreds of articles and reviews I settled on purchasing the 6-quart Mealthy MultiPot 9-in-1 Programmable Pressure Cooker.. It sells on Amazon for a few pennies less than 100-bucks and included a nice assortment of accessories. Currently it is rated at 4.9-Stars with 488 reviews. I also bought the Mealthy glass lid for the pot - it is see-though, great for slow-cooker and non-pressure recipes, and less cumbersome to use and clean than the standard lid. Because it is so simple to use, easy to clean up, and makes great meals, the Mealthy MultiPot is now my primary means of preparing meals, steaming veggies, making soups & stews, making oatmeal, hard boiling eggs, you-name-it. I find that individual servings are easy using the "Pot In Pot" method suggested by ThisOldGal sites.. Incidentally, I also pretty much get most of my recipes from the ThisOldGal sites.. I am just really getting into using the MultiPot but I love it and I am confident that my skills will improve with time. Since getting my MultiPot, I have managed to remove about 3/4 of all the cooking appliances and utensils that were formerly in my kitchen and I now have more space for new clutter, and even food preparation.. Things are moving in the right direction and this MultiPot has definitely helped me in getting my life together. As a side note, regarding these types of cooking pots, it appears that most of the inside-the-pot accessories for most of the 6-quart pots will work in other brands of 6-quart pots. By example, I liked and bought the Hatrigo Instant Pot Accessories 6 qt Steamer Basket, rated at 4.8 Stars out of 1200+ reviews, and it fits my MultiPot perfectly. This basket cleans up easily and works great for steaming veggies - even beets, hard boiling eggs, etc.. While I have never used the Instant Pot, or any other similar brands, I am very happy with my 6-quart Mealthy MultiPot 9-in-1 Programmable Pressure Cooker.. I would buy it again and recommend it to others..

I've been pressure cooking for decades, but resisted getting an electric pressure cooker for ages because we had, over the years, slowly accumulated specialized equipment which does almost everything they do. Stovetop pressure cookers, check. Rice cooker/porridge maker, check. Slow cooker, check. Yogurt maker, check. Boiled eggs, not so much (too many methods competing in my head, I guess). Well, you get the idea. But then we decided to get a camping/travel trailer, and all of those things couldn't come along with us. Plus, there'd be no way to bake a cake. Suddenly an electric pressure cooker was looking mighty attractive. We combed through the ads and literature, and decided on the Mealthy for its near perfect ratings, rich set of features at a great cost point, and because it graphs its progress in completing its tasks. It didn't hurt that it comes with all the accessories you'd need to use it. Plus, the graph is especially helpful when you're trying to time all the dishes for a meal to be completed and ready to be served at the same time. We would have had to pay considerably more for any of its rivals with all the features it has. So far we are incredibly happy with it! It took a few tries to get the cake thing down, but my husband was game to eat plenty of practice cake (which I finished in our home oven if needed) as I worked that out, and I've finally produced a cake cooked entirely in the MultiPot; perfect cheesecake was incredibly easy. Our pressure cooker favourite, from scratch spaghetti sauce came out perfectly. Our favourite slow cooker recipe for chilli con carne also came out perfectly. I didn't think anything would be able to cook rice better than our Zojirushi, but this did it one better, even cooking the only brown rice I've ever liked. Steel cut oats were just as good, though rolled oats were the messiest thing we've cooked in it: it turns out it's very important to let the pressure release naturally when cooking oatmeal. Nothing, I thought, would be able to rival my Milk Carton Yogurt Maker, but the yogurt is at least as good (though the pot has to be cleaned after use, unlike the former, which makes the yogurt right in the carton). Eggs even I couldn't mess up! I didn't know I wanted to make barbecued ribs at home, but the ribs really are to die for. I had not realized it would be an issue, but the 6 quart Mealthy MultiPot is no taller than a 3 quart Instant Pot mini Ultra, so I can stow it away reasonably easily in the cabinet below the stove in the galley of our small camper. I don't think that would have worked out with just any of the 6 quart Instant Pot brand electric pressure cookers. I used it several times just on our trip back home after picking up the camper. Being able to have homemade yogurt with my oatmeal was a real treat! It comes with just about anything you might want in the way of accessories: an extra silicone sealing ring in a different colour so you can use one for sweet, and one for savoury; a steam pan; trivet; even appropriately sized oven mitts, a ladle, and rice paddle. I got two tiered cooking pans for cooking more than one thing at a time (which, sadly, didn't work for cake), a Bundt pan for cake, a springform pan for cheesecake, egg racks (which take up more room than I would have thought possible), and a larger (mesh) basket for mussels, bone broth that doesn't have to be sorted by hand, and cooking eggs without the (too large, separately purchased) egg racks. Initially, it didn't come with a ton of recipes, but that has changed. Mealthy really does have a website with thousands of recipes, and an app for that, though they're not all MultiPot recipes. "The Complete Mealthy MultiPot Cookbook", which is touted on the MultiPot's Amazon page was disappointing, as it's very poorly translated, and descends at times into indecipherable gibberish. This is, however, not a huge deal, as everybody and her sisters, and some of her brothers too are writing recipes for Instant Pots, and they're not only available everywhere you turn, but work perfectly in the MultiPot on those occasions the cheat sheets which came with the MultiPot are not enough. The only other thing I thought I wanted was a ceramic coated, non-stick inner pot, which they've now come out with. I've gotten so used to the easy cleanup of the stainless steel pot that I haven't purchased one. I did get a bit envious of the extra features of the Ninja Foodi when it first came out, but didn't have space for it, and wouldn't have been willing to give up my Mealthy MultiPot. Fortunately, they're introducing a "CrispLid," which totally changes that game. Last, but not least, Mealthy is an incredibly responsive company with superb customer support. They have a Facebook page which is very active, and the head of the company often answers user questions directly. This is definitely a keeper!

Several of my friends are Instant Pot fanatics. When I went to Amazon to look for one for myself a few weeks ago, the Multi Pot showed up as an Amazon Choice at a much lower price point. After reading the positive reviews, I decided to risk the off-brand purchase. Shortly after I hit "buy," an IP friend sent me a Fakespot rating of F, saying all of these rave MP reviews are fake. I was worried. Nope. The reviews are real. I've used my MP 8-9 times already and this thing is great! I've made spaghetti, macaroni and cheese, chicken tikka masala, chicken korma, hard boiled eggs, and several casserole-style meals. I have 25 other recipes in Pinterest on deck! Easy to use and I see no significant difference from my friends' IPs other than the outer pot is a darker color, you get a bunch of free (nice quality) accessories with MP, and it is at a much lower price point. I called customer service the first day because I had a question about the steam release knob. They answered immediately and the woman who I spoke with was very helpful and friendly. My only issue is that the outer pot arrived with a dent on the back -- probably because I got a Warehouse Deal. I called Amazon about that and they offered me a credit. My overall experience with the Multi Pot is that it is a terrific appliance and that the company offers excellent support. The raves reviews are real. We are a real family with two hungry teenage boys in Wichita, Kansas, not fake reviewers. If you're on the fence, trust your fellow shoppers and go for it!

Let me begin by being completely transparent. I have an instant pot. I’ve had it for a couple of years now, and I love the thing. I found it randomly when I was looking for a second slow cooker, and decided to give it a go before it became a popular household item like it is now. Fast forward to the oresent, and I decided that I wanted another pressure cooker because I use the other pot so often, I wanted to be able to cook TWO things at ONCE! This pot was introduced to me by a friend, and I decided to go for it. I LOVE THIS POT. Instant Pot who? This is my go-to pot, now. Even my HUSBAND has used this and NOT MESSED UP THE RECIPE! Here’s why: 1. This pot is much more user-friendly. The display tells you when it is preheating, which is really important to people who are paranoid their stuff isn’t working, and it also gave my rookie husband the info he needed to not call me freaking out saying my pot wasn’t working. (yes, it’s happened before). 2. The buttons on this pot are SO MUCH BETTER laid out, and user friendly in my opinion. They have button for a lot of things, and everything is clearly labeled. “Pressure Cook” instead of “Manual” and “Pressure Level” both are amazing to see instead of guessing which ones to push to get to a certain setting. 3. This pot heats up FASTER than the Instant Pot. I actually did a side by side comparison.... I’m that nerdy. 4. The steamer function ... need I say more? ON POINT as I do a lot of steaming and steaming.... 5. Last, I will say this design is sleek. I love the blueish hues on the display screen as opposed to the red, and I love the darker color of the unit itself. It’s like a pewter color. This wasn’t a deal breaker for me, but thought I would add it in here. This pot was used to make multiple spaghetti squashes, beef and broccoli, multiple hard boiled egg batches, and tacos. Do yourself a favor and buy this pot.

I find I need to make sure the vent areas are cleaned after each use, which means taking the little metal cover off the vent cover inside the lid. If there is any debris where it vents, the pot will not work properly. Other than that, its been great for everything I have made in it.

I have a lot of friends with Instant Pots and had been wanting to buy one, when a chance presented itself to review a Mealthy Pot. I was not asked to leave a positive or negative review, just an honest review, and my honest review is that this product is life changing. Boy oh boy did this product deliver in a big way; I couldn't be happier with it. For starters, I had heard from friends that the Instant Pot was a little confusing to use initially, but this was not the case with the Mealthy Multipot. The Multipot was very intuitive from the beginning; there were simple, straight forward directions in the box that easily explained how to set it up. I was ready to start cooking in no time. The pot also came with a lot of extras like silicone mitts, a trivet, a steaming basket, and two different rubber seals, one for desserts and one for savory foods. The pot itself is a really beautiful charcoal grey color and I quickly replaced my old, ugly rice cooker for this beautiful 9-in-1 magical cooking machine. So far I've cooked a ham in just 15 minutes, brown rice in 15 min , soup in 15 min (and I started with frozen chicken breasts in it), and a favorite pasta dish in 4 minutes. It is helpful to know that pressure cookers take several minutes to build up pressure but once the pressure is built, cooking time is SO fast. I really love the saute function on the pot because you can saute your onions and other veggies in the Multipot itself before adding your other ingredients and finishing it off in the pressure cooker; it's very convenient not to need multiple pans. I haven't used the yogurt setting yet but I'm excited to try it. I'm looking forward to cooking a pot roast this weekend in 45 minutes instead of the 8 hours it normally takes! The Mealthy App is also really helpful as it has lots of tips and recipes. Learning how to cook in a multipurpose pressure cooker is different than regular cooking, so having recipes and guides is helpful. Overall, this pot is a life changer. My meals are so much quicker to make that it makes eating at home much easier. I am extremely pleased with this pot, and it's a better value than the Instant Pot. My friend who is a devout Instant-potter got a Mealthy Pot and said it works just as well, but for a much better value. I recommend giving it a try; you won't be disappointed!

I have been a pressure cooker user for over 15 years - first with stovetop, now with electric. I was originally leaning towards InstantPot, because they have swept the internet and are very well known, but ended up going with this one instead. Since I'm a very early reviewer, I thought I'd share some insight into the world of pressure cooking, why I chose this model, and why I'm happy that I did. 1. Why I chose the Mealthy MultiPot over all of the other pressure cookers on the market Countdown screen - pressure cooking can be a huge time saver, but it often takes the pot as long as 15-20 minutes to come up to pressure. Most pressure cookers do not inform you where you are in the cooking process until the final BEEP that your food is cooked. The MultiPot has a time tracker that allows you to see where are are - in preheat, in cooking, etc. Very useful for mealtime planning. Ability to change pressure level on all presets (some types of Poultry need High pressure, some need Low, it's important to be able to choose) The pressure button actually pops UP, above the pot. Other models sit flush with the lid when at pressure, and below the lid when not at pressure - so you can never actually see it from across the kitchen. I love being able to see, from my couch, that my pot has come to pressure and started cooking. Keep Warm button can be turned off at any point during the cook process Keep Warm on this model is a very low, constant heat. Other models I've used have burnt the food when Keep Warm is left on. 2. Sizing 6 quarts is the perfect size for 2-6 people. It requires a minimum of 1 cup of liquid, which is completely doable for a range of portion sizes. 6 quarts is also the standard size of most crockpots, if you're making the switch 3. Accessories I am most excited about the accessories that come with this pressure cooker. No other model on the market, according to my research, comes with as many. This one includes - Pot holders perfectly sized for picking the inner pot up out of the coooker - A trivet (I use mine most often to elevate veggies like sweet potatoes or spaghetti squash out of the water to steam them) - A steamer basket. This, especially is a huge value add. It will allow you to cook two dishes at once - one in the liquid down below, one in the basket above. - Not particularly an accessory, but this cooker comes with a one-pager guide to pressure cooking that basically teaches you how to cook everything you could ever want to cook. I've been pressure cooking for years, and I can say that the guide is spot on. I've actually taped it up to the wall behind where I now keep my MultiPot. Hopefully this is useful. I love pressure cooking and have done a lot of research, so wanted to share my findings.
