We have some of the large Ikeia cabinets that fit 8 of those Costco bins in them perfectly. I have 2 sets that hold all of my crafting stuff and 2 sets that hold all of my children's toy bins. Since I now have boys, there are constantly toys everywhere! it was overwhelming how many bins and toys were everywhere. They also loved to pull out mommy's craft bins and take all of my beads and threads out. Dumping every bin out. All. The. Time. I was to the point where I was designating a whole day, every other day, to just re-organizing everything and putting them in their proper bin. It was exhausting and overwhelming. Many times I considered going toy free and trashing all my crafts. The way the cupboards were other latches weren't working and my husband wanted something that couldn't be seen- since the toy bins were also in the tv room. Oh happy day when I found these locks!!! Instillation was a snap and the locks don't get in the way of the bins at all. We have tried other locks but all others have failed. I am thrilled that I can control the amount of toys the kids have access to. Each week I let one of the 4 cupboard drawers unlocked, giving the kids access to 4 bins at a time. At least the mess is controlled now, and if it gets out of control, I am unable to take just 1 bin out and lock up the rest. They also can no longer get into my craft drawers *heavenly music* These have really saved my sanity! I have since told absolutely everyone about them. They are super easy to install, handle abuse, stick right and are very easy to operate. I love the function that allows it to remain in a "lock" or "unlock" position, so if the cupboard gets closed, it will remain unlocked. The "key" is magnetic so we just keep one at the tippy top of the refrigerator, out of sight, and the other is hidden for emergencies. My boys have figured out how to use every type of child and door lock within 2 weeks, but we are going on a few months and they still haven't worked these ones out {victory dance} Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

When child proofing our cabinets, I tested out a few different kinds. These were by far the best. The locking mechanism on these is far sturdier than any other than I tried. The magnet that is supplied could be stronger, but does not have a problem unlocking the lock through our cabinets, which are thick solid wood. I would just personally like a stronger magnet. Installation on these is really a no brainer. The locks are designed well and come with guides attached that literally make sure you’re lining the pieces up perfectly. One might say it’s idiot proof. The adhesive seems good enough, but I’m glad these locks have holes for screws and screws are supplied. It allows for someone like myself to ensure that these guys won’t fail. The beauty is the adhesive allows you to line everything up perfect and then hold each piece in perfect position so you can screw it in very easily. Very smart design all around. One feature to these that I really like is the button of the lock itself that disables the lock all together. I like this because there will come a day when we don’t need them anymore and I can disengage them, but not have to uninstall them. I mean who knows, I might need them after that or possibly sell the home to some young parents. Either way, I don’t have to unscrew them leaving holes in my cabinets and they won’t get in the way. Another smart design feature. Our little girl has given up trying to get into the cabinets these are installed on and it’s a losing battle for her. Therefore, I am now replacing the others I have tried with these. I would absolutely recommend these cabinet locks to other parents as a must have.

Wow. These are definitely worth the price. I tried another brand of door locks first because they were 1/3 of the price. What a mistake! They were small, poorly made, popped off the doors easily, and some were even defective right out of the box. I promptly returned them and ordered these instead. What a difference! You can tell these are so much better in quality. I use them on my euro style cabinets and they work great. No issues with the magnets not working through the door, no issues with the adhesive, and no defectives! They are easy to install as well. I wish I had just tried these to begin with. This product proves the case of “you get what you pay for”. Save yourself the time and frustration and just buy these to begin with.

I like that you can flip a switch to turn the locking mechanism off, like when I’m cooking and my daughter is safely supervised by my mom in another room. I also like that drilling into the wood with hardware can be avoided. We used these locks for bathroom drawers, kitchen drawers and kitchen cabinet doors under the sink. They are holding well after a few weeks. Following instructions, and even improvising in some situations, it was very easy to install. I’m buying some more now. I bought some straps from a different manufacturer, also using 3M tape, but they fell off. I would get these locks over straps for dangerous locations.

Definitely go with this model over the non-adhesive type. I was expecting it to take an hour to install these, but this latest version is so simple that it took 10 minutes for all of them. No drilling required (at least on my cabinet doors). The magnetic force is surprisingly strong - so much so that I can't immediately break it open on my own. I tried some regular fridge-type magnets to see if a child could "hack" it and make it open, but none of them are strong enough, which is perfect.

I ordered one set a couple of weeks ago because the twins are living in the age of explorers. I try to keep them to one room, but I often bring them out to the kitchen to show them what I'm doing, which very quickly turns into herding cats and rescuing things from cupboards. In the last two weeks I've ordered two more sets and am ready for a fourth. They're on all the lower kitchen cabinets, the living room door (because the boys can turn knobs too), and I'm ready to toddler-proof the bathrooms now. They're worth every penny. I tried the old fashioned cupboard handle clasp method and I couldn't get my own doors open. We haven't needed the screws. The adhesive is miraculous. We have the magnet keys in strategic metal locations like upper door hinges, the fridge door, on top of the stove, on the metal rack beside the sink. Spend the money. You won't regret it.

These have held up great! We have tried two other brands, and this is the first to hold up. My husband also said the installation was "genius" and someone really thought out how to make installation as super smooth, especially compared to the other brands we have tried. Everything feels nice quality, and I anticipate it will continue holding up. These are expensive, but I won't waste my money next time on other lock systems. I'm going to re-buy this hands down.

These are incredibly easy to install and work very well. The magnets are very strong and work through thick cabinets with ease. I used screws in addition to the adhesive tape and recommend you do the same. Although the tape is strong, the wanton destruction of a three-year-old is probably stronger.

We bought the original version of these for our first house and loved them. So when we moved and wanted to childproof cabinets again we were excited to try this newer version since it didn't require screwing them in. Install was super quick and so far we have been very happy with them. This magnet is a little easier to hold than the original too. Plus the magnet has a bit of yellow on it so it's easier to spot, especially when it's not put back right away. All in all, even happier with this version and would hands down recommend them.

FOR WHOEVER THIS IS HELPFUL 💁🏻♀️ I used this for my IKEA vanity drawers! I did have to improvise on the top drawer, but only cus I wanted it to close all the way just like the rest. Otherwise just apply like normal on the top drawer. The rest of them, just stick the big pieces (the ones with the lock and unlock button) aligned with the top of either right or left side of the drawer *(like on last picture ). That’s it tho don’t stick the other little pieces. 👉The same underneath of the IKEA drawers will stop the drawers from opening when the big piece is unlocked. Love how the key sticks to my vanity mirror 💖 #momlife #vanity #IKEA #Drawers #Safety1st
