Super Strong and Easy to Install!
I got these to mount in my shed to hang a few small gardening tools. I even used one on the outside of the shed to hold the door latch so the the wind doesn't blow the door shut on my, as it is prone to do. The mounting screws could be a bit longer in my opinion due to the extreme strength of the magnet. Over time the screws may pull out, but for now they're holding just fine. I can always replace the screws with longer ones. Keep your fingers safely out from between two magnets or you will live to regret it. ;)

Very strong!!
Very strong.... I use these for gun magnetic holder for my cars and in hideaway places... In the car the gun will never fall off... Can't pull straight off cause the hold is too good... I slide or lean the gun over and then pull... Get 5/8 heatshrink put it over these and you've got the same as the $20 gun magnets for a 10th the cost

Small, yet Powerful!
Headline says it all. These may be small, yet they will hold together what ever small project you need them for. As an example, I had a single one on each side of my wrist and they stayed in place nicely. Even with the plastic divider between these magnets, it took extra pushing/sliding to get them as a single bar. If you got them to close to each other they were even harder to separate from one another. As for being fragile, I guess if you actually drop them from a great height that they will probably break. I dropped a couple of them from waist level as I tried to get them positioned in my hand properly before applying, also had them snap back on to each other as well as to the steel beam I was placing them on and no problems with cracks or breakage. I've got another idea or two for what I can use more of these little guys for and I don't think these magnets will fail doing them or for the project they are currently holding place.

Not a normal use case but very happy with these
I went to my physician because I thought I had metal splinter in my index finger. He took an x-ray and sure enough it was deep in the joint and pointing straight at the bone. He told me that he was referring me to a hand surgeon since the position and depth didn't look like anything that could be removed easily. He also said that the hand surgeon would probably have trouble getting it out as it was like "a needle in a haystack". Well I was pretty sure that the metal was steel and magnetic because of what I was working on, so I got to thinking that maybe a strong magnet, if left on long enough might do the trick. I ordered these and two days later I could feel the metal move with the magnet and after running it back and forth for several minutes low and behold it stopped hurting and I checked the magnet and found the metal sliver on it! These magnets are strong and fit the bill for me. A+

Neodymium Magnets
I got these neodymium magnets to make use in construction of a knife holder to match up with my wife’s butcher block. I was looking for something very strong, not just your run-of-the-mill fridge magnet. And I wasn’t disappointed. These things are UNBELIEVABLY strong. I probably spent the better part of 2 hours getting them apart. I ended up using an iron wood-splitting wedge and a sledgehammer to separate them. I can’t imagine what I would have done if not for the little plastic piece in between each magnet. One piece was easier to work with as long as you weren’t too close to the tool box. I only got hit by one screwdriver and a 10mm socket (which I can’t find now, BTW.) I embedded the magnets in a chiseled-out section of a nice oak board and mounted it right above the stovetop. It looked beautiful. However, I discovered quickly that when cleaning the cutlery, one must be extra careful. Everyone knows that high quality knives should always be hand-washed, and our sink faces away from the stove. I thought for a while it was something I could just live with, but eventually ended up deciding to abandon the project after numerous stab wounds. You just can’t afford to get your body in between the knife and those magnets. Upon attempting to take the board down from its mounting place on the wall, I remembered that there are metal studs inside the wall to the adjacent garage. The board would not budge. Nor would the beer fridge on the other side of the wall. Now, I can’t even get the door open without a come-a-long. But it gets worse; When I opened my garage door, the magnetic field pulled the door back so far that the back set of rollers came off the track. And then I’m hearing this light screeching sound of tires dragging across asphalt as the neighbor’s Prius comes skipping up my driveway. Great! Now I’ve got a Prius in my garage and can’t even get a beer out of the fridge. I shoulda just bought a router and built a knife block.

STRONG, FUNCTIONAL, CONSISTENT CONSTRUCTION
Amazon, please update the items you want ratings for. None of the reviewable 'items' are relevant, so I will make my own: Construction, 5; Rated Strength, 5; Functionality, 5. What can you say about a magnet? Right? Actually, there are lots to be said about magnets. For simplicity sake, the first is the rated 'pull', i.e., how many perpendicular 'pounds' of force does it take to remove the magnet from clean, unpainted iron.... So, the user needs to determine what they are using it for. For example, you wouldn't probably want to put a 100lb bar magnet on a shower door or most cabinet doors or 80lb magnets to hold pictures, etc. to your refrigerator. However, in earthquake proned California, you might consider a strong magnet to keep kitchen cabinet dors from opening during the shaking to prevent your glasses and dishes from crashing out (functionality) and, (construction) magnet housing not made d enough to prevent the magnet from coming out of its 'holder'. With 'inquisitive' grandchildren around now, I found stong magnets keep them out of certain drawers and cabinets; works better at a fraction of the cost of some 'fancy' "child proof" device. These magnets (housing) and 'striker' plate are consistent in their fabrication and assembly. The strength is close to rating (using uncalibrated pull weight scale). Functionality... is whatever you can imagine a use for them. In my case, I attach them to the tops of tool chests, etc. to 'hang things'. Approximately ⅔ of the magnet sticks above the cabinet. Clamps, test equipment, etc. are 'hooked' over the top. In the kitchen one similar use is hanging large UV wands for easy access for counter and equipment final sterilization. [Used them long before Covid-19]

Works as advertised
Strong magnets, securely packed and arrived undamaged. Magnets work well, I'm using 2 on individual 4 ft LED tube lights to attach to the underside of a four post lift. Very secure. As previously reviewed, DO NOT use the included double sided tape that's packed with these magnets. It will fail quickly even when the surfaces are carefully prepared. I rated this purchase 5 stars because I bought magnets, not double sided tape...

Great for tools!!! Welding/fabrication/prints
Gave out at Christmas to my fellow weldshop peers. They work great to hold prints, pliers, small organizational trays, I tapped some on a flashlight and made a nice work light, other guys have put them on the edge of their welders and it holds welding pliers and other small tools. Pretty handy to have

Butt-Kicking little magnets!
Like any NeFeB supermagnet, these things have amazing grip for their size. I'd guess they're good for15-20 pounds direct pull when stuck to my car. I use them to hold space blankets onto my car, to reflect heat in the summer and keep my dogs cool. I attached little drawer-pulls to them using 3mm x 10mm Flathead SST Machine screws and cap nuts, all of which I bought at McMaster.com, an industrial supply outfit with LOTS of stuff and very quick shipping. (They had mostly 2-day delivery long before Amazon even existed.)
