I bought it from Surgical Medical Source. Before and after ordering, I contacted them several time asking shipping questions. They were very prompt, courteous, and helpful. I ordered on June 2, and got the bed on June 4. The shipping was done by a local carrier - Hollywood delivery Service. I called them to find out the delivery schedule. Very courteous. Curb-side shipping as normal. I consider myself pretty handy. I didn't encounter any problem during setup until the very last step, inserting the hi-Lo motor output shaft into the foot board. (Please use a flat screwdriver to adjust the angle of the cross pin in the foot end gear box to match that of the hi-Lo motor output shaft, so they can be aligned and connected.)

I'm very leery when it comes to making large purchases sight unseen , but we needed a hospital bed fast , no time to shop around . I called Bargain Blast and left a message . A polite and professional man by the name of Eric was my contact . I purchased the bed , it took a bit longer than we were hoping for but it came in several boxes , which was better for us to deal with . We worked on the bed and got it together no problem until it came to the full bed rails , I called Eric and he walked us through the process without rushing us { his time was 3 hours ahead } . Upon hanging up we had an issue with the rails { lowering and raising the bed } I called Eric back , we got it fixed . He is Awesome , I wish all small business owners were like him . He cared about our issue , and did not hesitate for us to contact him . It's a nice set-up , just need some heat and massage , then I'll kick mom out and take over { kidding , don't hate on me } She would love that , we have a pair of chairs that has both , good heat and full massage inversion style { love it } ~ She could kick me out of my chair if she could , I'd let her if she could get into it , but she can not . So , on closing this review out , very pleased with product , service , and Eric's attention to detail ~ Would absolutely buy from him again . Thank you Eric , and Amazon for a wonderful , no stress situation .

Great bed- terrible instructions.

The mattress is very comfortable. It works as advertised and is fairly quiet. My wife absolutely loves it. We received it TWO days after we ordered it. Please be warned the assembly instructions are terrible but if you take your time you shouldl not have a problem. One person can assemble the bed but it is much easier if you have two.

Comfortable bed.

This is exactly what I needed for this stage of my life. I have severe arthritis, and getting into and out of bed was so painful. Now with the railings to grab on both sides, I can manage the process much more easily. Also, I was surprised to find how comfortable the mattress is. I do have a memory foam topping, but the combination is like sleeping on a cloud. I am sleeping better as a result. Also, the neighbor who came to put the bed together for me said he had just put together an identical bed (same model, same manufacturer). He had gotten it second hand for a relative of his just a couple weeks before I got mine. He said his was "as good as new"...and that the papers showed it had been originally purchased in 1987. His bed had been in use during all of that time. So it's a high-quality product. My dad used to say, "Always buy top quality when you buy a bed or a pair of shoes, because you spend your entire life in one or the other."

Homecare Fully Electric Hospital Bed.

I didn't expect such a nice bed. It is sturdy and rolls nicely once the feet are unlocked with just a slight upward tap and a downward tap to lock them. It came with full rails also, wow, most beds are with only top rails. The fully electric aspect of the bed is such a great feature. I am short but with the bed able to rise high I can move my husband with the bed pads much easier then if he was in the lowest position. I put the bed together myself with the help on the top and bottom head and footboards, but it wasn't that bad. I'm mechanically inclined so it wasn't too hard to do, the instructions were very good so that helped a lot. The delivery went smoothly since the driver brought the packages there were 5 of them, so it wasn't too hard to handle that part, I don't know if all drivers would help like that but you can find some very helpful souls out there still. Thanks to Invacare I would highly recommend them as a source of medical needs. They delivered with great expectations. Packaging was very good, no marks or nicks or scraps. No parts were missing, I cannot say enough good stuff about all that I mentioned in this review. I would highly recommend the bed and the company to everyone.

A great heavy duty bed.

Had to call the seller due to a few questions. They were available and were very helpful. Super fast shipping. This bed is very high quality and sturdy. Fairly easy to assemble with one person. For the price, this bed is the best we looked at out of the others. We recommend this bed for you that need a hospital bed. All electric, too!

Good value!

Works well, sturdy enough for 210 pound man, fairly easy to assemble. For rails turn knob out as far as possible then attach and tighten. We ordered this as Medicare was becoming a hassle and this was much cheaper than the Medicare route in the end.

You won't be disappointed! UPDATE

It took a few weeks to receive this item, but it was well worth the wait. Works just like the beds in the hospital, plus it came with full side rails AND the mattress! Did have some trouble when the leg lift wasn't working. We discovered our error and then it worked fine, but we found that the whole bed lift wasn't working, only the head part was going up. Again we discovered our error after putting in a call to Eric (fantastic customer service!) where he had set up a conference call with a service technician to help us out. But, once we discovered what we had put together incorrectly, it worked like a charm! I got this bed due to a bad hip and I'm going to have to have a hip replacement, so this has helped me now and will be an even greater help once I have had the surgery. Bed is quality and the customer service is awesome! Plus the price was great on my budget. Would recommend this product and this seller. UPDATE 05/10/17 Had my Total Hip Replacement on Feb 27, 2017 and this bed was a Godsend for recovery. Worked like a charm for all my needs. After nearly ten weeks I'm up walking on my new hip with no problems at all. Time to sell the bed!

Very clever!

An amazing product. My son helped me put it together for my 94 year old father. It is incredible how it is shipped and pre-assembled enough to make it practical and fairly easy to put together. Be sure to read the instructions!

We bought this for my grandmother since she spends more time in bed now and wanted her to be comfortable, especially when eating meals in bed. Shipping/Delivery: The various components arrived in multiple separate deliveries, three in total. Assembly: Assembly was easier than I anticipated. It's really just four or five pieces that fit together. I had the whole thing put together in less than 90 minutes. Function: The bed functions great. Initially the feature which raises and lowers the entire bed wasn't working. The driveshaft was moving the ends of the bed in opposite directions. A quick call to Invacare's customer support line helped me to sort out the problem. Comfort: Everyone agrees the bed is comfortable. I admit I was concerned that the foam mattress wasn't going to be adequate. Time will tell, but so far so good. Overall: The bed seems to be sturdy and well made. I think it's a good value for the price we paid.
