The warm-color LEDs make reading easy on the eyes.

Excellent quality light for reading. Most LEDs are too blueish. This one has a nice warm tone which provides excellent contrast for reading. I do agree that I wish there were a lower setting. The "3 power modes" in the description are OFF/LOW/HIGH. Low is actually a bit too bright for my tastes, and I think there's room for improvement there in that they could add an even lower power setting, which should also improve battery life, not that I'm complaining about battery life - I'm still on my first charge, and have been using it to read at night since Christmas. On high this thing could be used as a room lamp. Overall, it's a great little unit. I recommend it.

I usually read with my kindle and don't need a separate light, but there was a book I got from the library and the only time I had to read was at night and my husband didn't want the light on. So I got this and it's been great. I keep it clipped to the side of my nightstand and I can also use it as a lamp when I need to get up to the bathroom. It turns on easily and I love that it has two brightness settings. I've had it for a few months now and it still works great.

Exactly the booklight you need!

I am SO happy with this little light! It was just what I needed. I love to read at night but lights tend to distract my husband, so I tried so many booklights and they all either broke quickly, were way to heavy to clip to a book or had short battery life. This one is perfect: two light settings that directly illuminate both my pages (even on the low setting), it's not too bright so it doesn't bug my hubby, it's rechargeable, and it's not too heavy for a paper back book. It feels good to hold, the light goes on easily. It really is just what I needed. Very happy with this purchase!

An excellent aid for reading in bed.

I only received the booklight yesterday, but I quickly charged it and used it last night. I very much like that the brightness of the light can be easily adjusted, and that the stem is both flexible and sturdy. It can be bent to almost any position, and it stays there. The light itself is very lightweight, so it didn't distort the pages of the paperback I am reading. I clipped it to about ½ inch of the pages I had already read, and didn't have to fuss with it again.

Works great for what I needed!

I have to say, This little light is fantastic. The reason I bought this was for sketching while relaxing on the couch or in the recliner in the evening. Usually I'll sit at my easel or sit at my drafting table to do actual work, but sometimes in the evening or early in the morning I enjoy sketching while watching TV. It was always hard getting proper lighting with lamps or ambient light from the windows, so I thought I'd give this little thing a shot. I am pleasantly surprised! I just simply clip it on my SketchBook to one side, and it provides the perfect lighting so I'm not straining my eyes. Plus I can ease back and just relax while I'm doodling! Lol I'm actually thinking of getting another one to use by the bedside for reading or otherwise. Really neat little light. Pleasantly surprised, and certainly satisfied for what I was needing it for. **UPDATE** As of March 2018 I purchased another one of these great little lights. One I keep in my portable sketching kit, the other around the house. One thing I forgot to mention in my previous review... Although this is an LED light, it casts a warmer glow than what a standard LED light does. Really easy on the eyes. So I'm completely satisfied!

It's a really great product. It's a good size

Was looking for a night reading book lamp and decided to buy this based on reviews. It's a really great product. It's a good size, not bulky or heavy at all. The neck is thin and really flexible. Comes in a box with instructions. This light has 3 brightness settings, all yellow tone. It helps to read nice and clear. Comes with a charger, but I didn't need to charge it for my first time use. The base is a clip so you can clip onto other pages as anchor. Great product, good buy.

Great Booklight

I just got it & charged it right away. It looks really nice & sleek. It definitely lights up both pages really well. Now I can read & not worry about having to put on my big lamp light to see the pages. I have inserted some pictures of what the book light looks like. When the light is charging the indicator light turns red then when its fully charged it turns blue. When my room is completely dark & while my husband is sleeping I only need the light to be on the lowest light setting because that is bright enough for me & lights up both pages just fine. The second light setting is pretty bright but I do appreciate that I have the option to have more light if I need it. If it ends up failing on me then I will update about the product. So far so good though! I LOVE reading my Harry Potter books!!! Waiting for my letter from Hogwarts! Lol

Perfect for nighttime reading

I bought this book light so I can still read in bed if my husband decides to turn in before I am ready (sometimes I just can't put a book down!). This light came nicely packaged with a separate USB charge cord. Pros: -Sturdy clip, does not damage pages or binding but stays put (and not so heavy it weighs the book down) -Easy to use - push the button on top of the light to cycle through the brightness settings -3 brightness settings (not sure why some reviewers only had 2, but mine had lo/med/hi plus off) - in the pictures, you can see how much each setting brightened the page as well as the entire room! (please ignore my unmade bed as the sheets are in the wash) -Flexible neck can bend in pretty much any position for ideal placement - and it stays put -As you can see in the photos, the light is warm which is preferable for reading Cons: -Brightness setting 2 & 3 are quite bright - as you can see in the photos, they illuminated a good portion of the room, so may not be ideal for using while someone else is sleeping -Still need to test the battery life, but using it on the low setting I would think it would last quite a long time Overall, very pleased with the light. It doesn't bother my husband but still gives me plenty of light to read.

I love this light, super bendy so it can work at all angles and it's setting for the brightness is perfect for all times! I study literally 24/7 and this is the perfect thing to have with my books!

Insomniac self + sleepy boyfriend solved

My boyfriend konks out as soon as he hits the pillow, leaving me to stare at my phone for hours trying to fall asleep. The lamp bothers him, so I couldn’t read. Of course, looking at my phone didn’t make me sleepy; in fact, it increases my stress while trying to fall asleep. I am a bookworm and years ago used to read every night in bed to fall asleep (before cell phones were a big thing). As I grew into adulthood, I got out of that habit. I’m trying to get back into it, and this light is my solution. The lowest setting is a very warm tone and doesn’t bother my love while he’s falling asleep. So happy! It’s exactly what I was looking for. The three settings are shown in my photos - warm, bright, brighter. I can see where this would be helpful on planes too. Excited! Highly recommend for the insomniac bookworm in your life.
